I'm about 5'8 145 lbs (slim build). Trying on 5 different sized Canada Goose Chilliwack coats. A men's small fits me best. Hopefully helpful when deciding which size to order.

Medium looks the best on you👍🏻when you raise your arms all the way up, the jacket shouldn't ride up. This is how I know if the jacket is the perfect fit ^^

hi mate, just got the chilliwack bomber in a large.. seems a little baggy in the arms am shoulders, i tried the medium in store it was very tight at the waist but seemed to fit nice an snug in the arms an shoulders, is the jacket ment to be tight at the waist? what’s the best fit? vids are really helpful! thanks! i’m 6ft 2 am around 205/10lbs

Hey man you really give helpful reviews. I’m kinda stuck with sizing. I’m around your size (5’8, 170lbs) but a little thicker in the chest/arm area. I’d like to be able to wear at least a hoodie with the jacket. In your opinion would a Small or Medium be best? I know it’s difficult without seeing me and knowing how I like to dress, but any help would be appreciated.

Ezzy 83 I’m 5’8” and 175 lbs... my t shirts are large or x large. Not sure how You are considering a small or medium anything. I tried on the large and found it tight if I move my arms in front. The x large didn’t restrict my movement at all.

Ray price Can’t recommend a size for you... but as I mentioned I’m 5’8” and 175lbs and an XL is snug on the shoulders on me. Perhaps try a different model jacket. I was lucky and close to the Canada Goose store in Toronto and was able to try a bunch of different jackets and sizes on.
I found the parkas I was XL, but when I tried on the chilliwack bomber... a Large was a good fit. Hope that helps. Best to find a local retailer that sells CG if you aren’t near a flagship store. They won’t have all the models of jackets, but at least u could try something on so if u order online you can be confident it will fit.

If you a cheaper alternative that’s a waterproof jacket go with Gotham

You could probably fit a small pretty well. If you’re worried about sleeve length, try a M. The M will be a bit puffy I imagine though

i just bought a Medium size and i'm 5'8, 152 lbs. The coat alittle baggy on my waist and chest. Just right on the shoulders. If i go down to a small, my shoulders may feel alittle tight. The struggle is real ;(.

@Gene Gene It was perfect mate. Particularly length wise vertically which I think it matters the most. Unzipped it reaches just to the lower hip level, at a perfect point where it kinda emulates a parka but you don't look like you have chicken legs. Zipped up is completely fine , doesn't hang down. Thanks to the intelligent band design that shit just contours to your body nicely around the hips, doesn't fall. I think zipped up would be the same fit whether XS or S. Unzipped a small may hang a little lower than you want , depending on your build. Now for the rest of the upper body, the XS fit is perfect. But perhaps too perfect. See as someone who works out I've noticed it getting a little snuggier. Now thanks to the fairly spacious interior and the extendable cuff band I don't reckon I have to worry about it becoming too small for a good few years I reckon, but it is definitely a pretty form fitting jacket, if you like something roomier or are bulking big time I'd say go for the small. TL,DR: 5'7 with a small frame, go for the XS. 5'7 with a big frame, go for the S. Unsure? In the middle? Go for what size usually fits you best.

@@romwell321 I normally wear medium with my clothing I've just never owned a Canada goose so don't now what there sizing is like. But I don't think all there items are true to size my brother has a expidition and it's massive on me when I tried it on.

@@romwell321 yes it was a medium but he is about 6ft and it fit him fine. But I've read online that some jackets are made bigger then others especially the snow mantra and the expidition.

Thanks! Go with a M if you want some extra room for layering. Go with a small if you want a more form fitting coat.

+K A thanks! I’m not entirely sure. I know S/P just means a men’s small and a M/M means medium (L/G means men’s large etc.) my guess is that the second letter is the the abbreviation of the size in another language. For example, the L in L/G is large and the G might mean grande (large in Spanish) that’s my best guess. Hope it helped
