Hello, although I agree with the idea of what's being said here, there is a way for somebody to have anything they want stacked on top of their grave if they have put it in writing or some kind of instruction to what happens after one dies. It happens quite regularly even to date. Somewhat of a funeral plan? God knows what her intent was and Ellen G white will be subject to God's Fair judgment just like all of mankind 🙂.

My daughters husband has brainwashed my daughter into think Ellen White was demon possessed because he doenst believe in God, perhaps thats why in is now in prison. I so enjoy it when she brings her children to the little church when I give sermons. sometimes I have 4 generations of my family present to hear my sermon. In general I think that's a great practice to listen to the word of God above all things, on the other hand Would that not be like listening to Jesus alone and disregarding all that He had told the disciples? I was pleading with the Lord one day about all of spiritual information that I had acquired in my life and with all honesty and desperation asked God what good is any of this if I don't know the truth so would you please just help me with HIS TRUTH the way HE intended for me to know it. I really didn't know where to start, and this is how I first became acquainted with the Seventh Day Adventist I kept seeing this Ellen G White pop up everywhere and I just kept ignoring it I thought it was just some old Pioneer Woman story, after all I was learning all this on RUclips, I didn't make the connection right away, and then when I started following the lessons from a variety of Seventh-Day leaders they were reading this narrative that I thought was fascinating and rang true to the scriptures like I had never experienced so I was trying to figure out who is coming up with these great narratives and explanation of the scripture and then it clicked when I seen the EGW at the bottom of the page that was being read it all started making sense and I was hooked because I truly felt that I had found scriptural gold and couldn't nor did I want to let go of it. I could not find argument anywhere. I have been raised Pentecostal with many so-called ordained ministers even in my own family The Seventh-Day Adventist claim seems to be that the Bible stands first and Trump's over everything, just like the beliefs I've been raised in, but at the same time I really didn't have much room or patience to have any other Faith mingled into my mindset about the scriptures. I was very shocked when I figured out finally that it was Ellen G White's narrative? For the last 4 years I've been studying consistently Around the Clock practically and have yet to find that the narrative has any argument against the scriptures but instead supported them 100%, thus causing me to have quite a change of heart and direction and begin swimming against the tide of everything that I had been taught my entire life to the age of 58 through the process I have come to believe that with zero doubt, 100% absolutely certainty that I am of The Seventh-Day Adventist faith and thank God everyday for the change of heart and direction and most of all for answering my prayer in my pursuit of HIS TRUTH, THE WAY HE INTENDED ME TO KNOW IT. Brothers and sisters please be very careful even in the Seventh-day Adventist faith not to be taken astray by leaders who are mingling error with the truth, the wolves in sheep's clothing that will not spare the flock!

Ellen G White was overrated and promoted to a position she didn’t deserve however E G White didn’t create the 7th Day Sabbath God did. How did the 1st Day Sabbath become the sabbath of the Catholic Church? And how did most of the Protestant Churches continue to observe the 1st Day sabbath (Sunday)? It’s because the Roman Catholic Church in the year 336AD changed the sacred emphasis to Sunday. Is it coincidence that in Ancient Rome the people worshiped the Sun on SUN DAY the first day of the week. It was easy to convert Sun worship to the Catholic Faith by promoting Sunday as the “New Sabbath.” So the Protestant movement protesting Catholic doctrine but did not protest the biggest fallacy of the Catholic Religion.

She was a literary phenomenon, During her lifetime she wrote more than 5,000 periodical articles and 40 books. As of 2019 more than 200 White titles are available in English, including compilations from her 100,000 pages of manuscript.
"She is promoted to a higher position in the SDA Church than she deserves"?. She co founded a denomination in 1863 that had 3500 members, and which by 2010 was the 12th largest religious body in the world with some 16 million baptized members.
To even suggest she is over-rated is something that even a secular person would plainly see as ridiculous. As far as being a prophet. the 18th of the 28 Adventist Fundamentals states the viewpoint on the Gift of Prophecy: One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy. This gift is an identifying mark of the remnant church and was manifested in the ministry of Ellen. Praise the Lord.

I seriously doubt that she knew the obelisk was in anyway associated with freemasons. I didn’t know till I saw this video. But to be perfectly honest, if I had chosen one for my headstone, without knowing it was satanic, I would hope that my family or someone with some connections to me would have it removed after it became known as being associated with such an entity. I think that any Christian would want it removed from their headstone.

How could she uphold the teachings of the bible when the Investigative Judgment and 1944 are not in accord with Scripture? Both of those came from misinterpreting Daniel 8:14 and Daniel 7:10 last part, because they were using the KJV that was an Episcopalian bible commissioned by King James to propagate the doctrines of the Church of England of which he as the head! Ellen White is to the SdA denomination as was King James to the Church of England, the Pope to Catholicism, and Joseph Smith to the Mormons.

So, if we heed this advice, we know that the Obelisk means NOTHING! But if it is causing others to stumble, then maybe we should replace it?

God made the rainbow as a sign, a promise that He would not destroy the world with another flood. The rainbow is therefore a sacred sign or symbol. The greatest issue about Ellen G. White is not an obelisk on grave site.The biggest and most shameful issues about her are:
1.Plagiarism. Many Adventists have no clue that EGW copied most of the material in her books and even letter from here contemporary and earlier.Her copy and paste work include what she claimed to have been shown her (she uses the phrase, "I was shown") and what she claims was revealed to her! The greatest deception is that the church leadership in Silver Spring, Maryland, and EGW Estate are party to the lie because they know that she plagiarized other people's literary works but choose to lie about it to defend her.
2.Extra biblical fables. Reading the Desire of Ages and The Great Controversy, and comparing them with the sources that she plagiarized (copied without giving them credit) will show you that sister EGW took and perpetrated fables as truth. In fact the Jesus of Desire of Ages is different from the Biblical one (EGW's Jesus is embellished)! EGW's doctrine of the sanctuary and investigative judgment is unbiblical too! SDA has been bragging that it is biblical but when non adventist theologians challenged them to prove biblicality of the doctrine, they did not! Instead the church tried to change the Bible by paraphrasing it to produce a mutilated Bible called Clear Word Bible! Imagine SDA has done this while condemning Catholic church for attempting to tamper with Bible!

First, we don't follow a woman, we follow God and use His Word - the Bible. EGW just happens to expound on what Scripture already teaches. Second, EGW had no control over how they fashioned her grave and tomb stone. And to add to that, there were no masonic markings on the tomb stone. Personally I don't think that using an obelisk was a wise choice, however it's not masonic and neither was she. She wrote against masonry.

Why would they allow such an object on her burial site knowing its pagan roots and why hasnt this been removed after so much questioning? It also begs the question, why was the knight's templar (cross inside a crown) symbol on the memoriam booklet for her at the funeral?
