The 100 sounds amazing from the deep bottom of the brass to the sweet melodies of the woodwinds and the xrisp cleanliness of the percussion. Simply the best! #FAMULY #STRIKINGFROMTHETOP #COLAC #RATTLERNATION
1970s ASU alum here. I was up shakin’ it to the cadence at minute 11:10. Couldn’t sit down on that groove. Glad my band was there too! The Stingettes made me wish I could go back in time and be a Stingette. They looked good. My brother is a JSU alum and former Sonic Boom member. I would LOVE to see JSU do their Get Ready stadium entrance in the Rose Bowl parade!
Great use of "US", we the Negro People who live and dwell in these here United States of America must embrace and take pride in US. WE will always compete, but WE must support US, especially OUR HBCU'S. Embrace the legacy of excellence, it benefits US ALL.

My brother-in-law, a niece and a nephew are PVAMU alumni. I have a great-niece that’s a student there. I remember when PV went to the Tournament of Roses parade. We were so proud.

They look and sound great. I'm glad the crowd liked them. You captured them in an area of the parade route you usually get to experience if you attend in person. Most television coverage shows bands and other units only at the beginning of the parade on Colorado Blvd. Great Job #ShowtimeWeb

Everytime I see one of these amazing *HBCU* marching bands it always upset me that this excellence is not mirrored in our HBCU football and basketball teams. I wish more (if not most) of our top black high school athletes would choose Universities like *Florida A&M, Alabama State, Southern* etc instead of Alabama, Oklahoma, Clemson etc. There is no reason why the HBCUs should not be the gold standard in College sports especially *Football Basketball and Track* These Universities are so underfunded, and so under appreciated by our own people.

I saw them at the very beginning of the route. I'm seeing this for the 1st time. Downtown Pasadena is at the end (it's a long route) but you'd never know it with their strong performance. It was great to see FAMU represent in SoCal... 💂🏼♂️💂🏾♀️🐍🌹

I marched at Rutgers University in the 80s. HBCU have a different style that is entertaining. FAMU sounds great here

Hubba 💯. Awesome performance. It was very cool to hear the Medley that featured the Star Wars arrangement from 1977 Marching 100 halftime show.
