@@Turtlemilk Agree. I made a mistake in the past listening youtubers about paperlike. Used 2 of them and never ever again. You can by the same stuff 2-3x times cheaper. I do not know why some of youtubers are advertising it. DailyTekk have you ever used other “paperlike” product? I bet you have and who knows if right now other brand is sticked to your screen cause you know how bad paperlike is.

Paperlike is the same as matte protector but way cheaper. Im using it on my ipad. The same thing.
I bought that elago Apple Pencil sleeve and it was a nightmare. I'm a 6'3" tall guy... the guy you ask to open jars for you... and it took every bit of strength to get the sleeve on the Apple Pencil (yes, I made sure the "magnetic" side was on the flat side of the pencil). Once I finally got it all the way on, I couldn't get the pencil to charge when magnetically attached to my iPad. I tried and tried... rotating it different ways, but it just wouldn't register to charge. I ended up having to CUT THE SLEEVE OFF MY PENCIL just to be able to charge my pencil again. Assuming I got a defective one, but still... for an OVERPRICED piece of silicone, I expect more.
Does the mophie MagSafe powerbank charge the iPhone when it’s being charged as well????? Cause if it does you got a usb-c chargeable iPhone right there!

The Apple Pencil sleeve is so common. I don’t believe people asked about that. Even paper like, I bet it’s sponsored too.

I bought the pencil cover. It is built really well, but unfortunately, the pencil does not charge when I attach it to my iPad. I think it is because the case is very thick. Every time I have to charge it, I have to take it out of the case, which is a pain.

Yes, enthusiasm comes through. Your energy and positivity come through most of the time. (It was a little weird listening to you talk about your disappointments with the last WWDC). I’m an amateur user, so without your explaining things, I’d be lost. It could even impact whether I’d purchase the Apple products that I do. You add value to my purchases, for sure. You’ve gained my trust and respect, so whatever you present is of interest.
I like the light and it is $30 off plus $5 more if you use their popup discount for first purchase. Not exactly an iPad accessory, but I see the need for a catchall video once in awhile so well done. I'm waiting for the 2nd or 3rd iPad Pro to come out as I like the 11" format for travel but that format doesn't have the best screen and neither Pro has external monitor support in the way we want.
Really enjoyed learning about other accessories. More of this is welcomed..

The Apple Pencil does not charge while the elago cover is on. It’s a cute cover but it’s a pain to take it on and off everything you want to charge your pencil.

Hello, I’m new to all things tech and am overwhelmed by so much out there. Recently invested in the IPad Pro 2021, 12.9” with magic keyboard and pencil 2nd gen; I’m just trying to navigate on protection for them all. Do you know if there’s a case for the magic keyboard also for the qwerty keys? What sleeve / folio would you suggest can work on the iPad itself that will protect but won’t interfere with the magnets to still work with the magic keyboard? I love the idea of the sleeve on the the Apple Pencil but after reading the comments, not sure what to do now. I have enjoyed your other tech videos especially those as a newbie to Apple Tech on my journey to get to know my new Ipad family.

I bought the Elago 2nd Gen Apple Pencil Cover a week or so ago off another video you had posted.
I loved the feel and look of the cover, however the charging would not work ALL the time, would work sometimes and other times wouldn't. It also greatly reduces the magnetic hold, I think it would fall off if you sneezed. Also the strap on the Apple Foilo would not longer go around the top because the cover made it too large.. Just a few things to keep in mind.

2:40 the Samsung X5 is a thunderbolt drive, that only works on a thunderbolt port and is not USB C compatible (apart from the physical connector). Try any other usb drive and it should work fine with power+data

That light is the bomb. I’m almost 59, so it really “resonates” with me.
I have that wallet and I LOVE it. The leather smells great has more than enough space for me and the little tabs are for quick release of 4 cards without opening the wallet.
You should do an updated notability vs goodnotes comparison so ik which one to get before college starts :)

Everyone complained about losing the old Apple TV remote. That’s why they made the new one thicker. I’ve never lost mine because I put a rubber case on it and it doesn’t slide into cracks.

Hey Chris we all know u like your paper like! But please don’t recommend to buy it for the new M1 iPad pro 12.9” coz we all know its sort of pointless against the mini LED XDR display experience! We all that you promote this product like nobody else! But most of the people don’t like paper like! And whoever did an unbiased video on paper like never recommend it to be used.

I was looking at this as well and if there was a thunderbolt port in the back they would probably sell out in a couple days. Also, only getting one view angle is not very functional and honestly kind of boring. I would expect something a little bit more functional from Satechi.
I was expecting to see more iPad accessories instead of accessories for other apple devises. But thank for the video.

Have you by chance checked to see if the ZUGU case can accommodate an Apple Pencil that has the elago Pencil sleeve on it? Id' love to get one (the elago sleeve) but I use the Zugu case so it may end of being a wasted purchase.

The Apple Pencil accessory is awesome but can be pain in the butt when taking it out, it’s almost like a tattoo for Apple Pencil that you can take off

Can this Satechi hub charge the iPad at the same time?
Yeah, I was excited about the stand/hub at first too. But the headphone should have been on the front, the SD card lots on the front or side, and the USB C ‘port’ is not a port, just a charging extension cord. So you really get a (mostly useless) HDMI port, a USB A port and misplaced headphone jack and SD card slots and a low-to-the-desk stand. Sigh….
