In this episode, I'm joined by Jimmy Akin to discuss the recent prophecies of the viral Trump prophet Brandon Biggs. We will take a deep dive on who this guy is, analyze the reliability of his prophecies, and discuss what the Bible teaches about true and false prophets.
I try to be very careful when encountering videos that have titles such as "God told me ___________" or "God says _________ ". May we all have the grace of God to discern what is from Him vs what is from man and the adversaries of Christ.
He is promoting Israel and Trump so he is False Prophet.

Those sound like common occurrences in Europe today.
It'd be interesting to have a body language expert evaluate some of these clips.
There are many claiming to be getting messages from God on RUclips as some say for clicks. I agree if you have witnesses to an event explain what they saw or heard. Everyone narrates it with differences.

I don't think it's related to Brandon, but people can usually post stuff on youtube and set it to private view. By unprivating the videos months, or even years later it would show the original date upload.
A specific user did this couple of years ago and created a huge scandal (I remember it became semi-viral on social media) where he correctly "predicted" many famous deaths (Kobe was the notable one) and even the precise dates.
What he actually did was previously spamming privated videos mentioning a celebrity and their death date until he eventually did guess correctly and would finally unprivate the video making it seem like a correct death prediction.
That's kind of a brilliant, if devious, scheme

The charism of Prophecy deserves its rightful place in the continuing ministry of the Church today. As St Paul encourages us Corinthians 1 12:31, to "seek the higher gifts, especially Prophecy, and naming 'prophets' after Apostles, in the early church. I highly recommend the book "PROPHECY: The Post-Biblical tradition" by Catholic Theologian Niels Christian Hvidt. It's the ONLY CATHOLIC THEOLOGICAL WORK dedicated to the manifestation of the Prophetic ministry since Pentecost through the life of the Church. Foreword by Pope Benedict XVI ( Joseph Card. Ratzinger ).
I highly recommend that you only stick to scripture. You and your pentecostal, well lets say movement cause a lot of damage with your lies, false prophecies and terrible wrong interpretation of the word! All your founders and 99% of your current representatives are, the least to say fony or straight up criminals! And dont come back to tell me otherwise as I am one of the victims of you irresponsable deceivers and I could be triggered to go into details! Got the message or do you want it in tongues? Read your bible, repent and turn to the Lord! I will pray for your poor soul.

My friend, Austin Chambers, wrote an entire disaster series of books based on the Earthquake he described.
So, if he isn't a prophet, then it means God is not revealing the future to him or through him, which we've established is the case. This suggests that he is "imagining" it all or, more accurately, inventing fantastical doom stories to release on RUclips and collect ad revenue. How is that not considered fraud? Even if his theological framework differs, he is still fabricating these stories for profit.
This man could definitely have been deceived because he had a dream. I feel like his heart may have been in the right place at first but he then was deceived and misunderstood the dream and added to it to make it look like he is a prophet. The dream definitely could have come from the adversary as well precisely so he could trap him, which is sad.
As a Catholic at Baptism, we enter the Faith "Priest, Prophet, King". I can say I am a seer. I would never call myself a Prophet and certainly not arbitrarily. Maybe, I don't clearly understand what a Prophet is, except for Biblical examples and admittedly I am jaded by the Evangelical term and examples. I think the fact I can see many things as a seer, is based on several things, #1 Gift from God. #2 Revelation from God, #3 Faith that the Lord can and will talk with me according to His will and purpose for His Glory. #4. I can think logically, and critically, so I can perceive and assume a certain degree of probability. #5 I am on the autism spectrum which allows me to see things from a totally different perspective than neurotypical people see and understand things. For me, true Prophecy would be totally beyond most of these things or at least beyond myself. Example: When I was 11-12, I was at my friend's house. I was picking on her guitar while sitting on a stack of laundry she was in the process of ironing. All of a sudden I threw the guitar down jumped up grabbed her and threw her into the closet I fell on top of her just as a bolt of lighting came threw the window struck the iron richocetted up and exploded the light bulb. If I had not done that she would have defiantly been dead. I had no knowledge that was going to happen much less plan my response. I have thought about my response for years. It was like I was a different person. I have had dreams of earthquakes, fires, and many more disasters too, my whole life. I know stuff about them, who what when why sometimes, only my dreams and visions are more worldwide in scope. Usually, I know these things not to tell people but so I know how to pray and usually those prayers have to do with global repentance and protection. Many times these things happen as guidance for me personally. I sometimes know when people are going to die. All of my life have been able to see into another realm. I thought everyone could and the ability to do these things was accepted in my house as normal, growing up. I have seen angels, demons and spirits of people who have passed. Sometimes I can see certain situations play out like a movie before anything actually happens. I normally can do nothing about them except to pray. Does this make me a Prophet? IDK? The spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet and that spirit has to be tested. Scripture says that our God is not a God of fear, nor is He a God of confusion. The Word of God is backed by the Word of God it never stands alone and its purpose is to always lead people to repentance and redemption because this is the task we were left to do, preach the Gospel not get hung up in doomsday prophecy . I am thankful you guys did this, there is a lot to contemplate.
The Blessed Mother always says to pray to mitigate what is prophesied. What about Jonah and Nineveh. What about what Marie-Julie Jahenney the Blessed Mother told her there would be a burning decease

I'm not fascinated with this guy even though the report of that one close hit was interesting. I've just seen too many of these "prophets" and it's tiresome after 50+years of hearing the same thing over and over. If anything, when these types of over-the-top dramatic and massive scale prophecies don't come true, it casts doubt on Christianity and the Bible. That's why what false prophets and phonies do is evil.

I am watching this today, and these are my thoughts: Brandon Biggs = fraud. Jimmy Akin = example of a faithful Catholic who unites his intellect with his faith and gains insight to things. (He correctly predicted Kamala’s vp pick would be a white dude!)

Be careful as a Catholic calling anyone a fraud
If you go through someone has videos, he explains that he was fighting with God about going on RUclips. He didn't want to do it, so it took God supposedly like a year and a 1/2 to a year, and a 1/2 to convince him that he needs to go on RUclips and he's still very uncomfortable with it, according to him.
I would suggest to just test his manner and character against the Word of God... Pray for discernment... I'm wondering (sincere question) What has he done that is so wrong??

I met a stigmatic (not yet church approved or denied), who is said to have experienced the Passion every night.
He passed away around 2009. I met him in 2001. But I asked him if he experienced being nailed to which he said (paraphrasing him) "Oh yes. Sometimes his feet were nailed right foot over left, Or left over right, and sometimes they were nailed separately."!
But yes does it really matter if 3 nails or 4 nails were used. Jesus offered Himself for our salvation regardless of the details.
Mike Winger makes a very good point in his video, which is that Brandon doesn't actually mention Trump's right ear. He just gestures at his ear with his right hand when saying the bullet flew by. This could easily just be a right handed person motioning at the thing they're talking about (an ear) and is thus much less impressive. Brandon also appears to have done another prophecy about an attempt on Trump's life that got a lot more details wrong.

You two keep confusing his original “prophecy” with his later interviews . He NEVER mentioned any blood in his original “prophecy.” He’s a clear liar and fraud. He keeps saying God told him things in conversations not just a vision. Please quit letting him off the hook!
Exactly. And why would someone mention an assumed medical diagnosis (burst ear drum) but leave out a simple observable detail like blood?

One mistake Jimmy makes often is to select on the dependent variable. Of course Biggs was right about Trump. If he weren't, you'd be ignoring him, like you ignore every palm reader in Little Rock. Biggs' prediction is "better than chance" for any one person, if you asked what will happen this year. It's not so impressive that in the universe of prophesy someone said it. Arguably, an event like this was even in the collective consciousness. It's like the lottery--many play, one wins. It doesn't make the winner a fortune teller.

Well, here at 1:42:22 in the video I ask this question. Are there any examples of Christians in the past 2000 years who pass that prophet test you state of provable repeatable prophecies? And I mean outside of Jesus and the apostles. Anyone of more recent vintage? It seems to me that if such people existed in such clearly identifiable terms, that would be really well publicized and a big deal.
I wonder if, like the proposal with how he interpreted the blown ear drum, he isn't all up and down the board, receiving some kind of visual information, but his interpretive abilities of that information are lacking and given to hyperbole and lots of reading into the information. Though then we wonder if God is giving someone a prophecy, would God not also ensure supernaturally that the person can make sense of what they are seeing and infuse them with knowledge.
Also, as to the no example in the bible of prophesy telling us to pray against the plans of the devil, maybe not in the bible but isn't that what Our Lady of Fatima did? Could not that same kind of thing also happen with a non-apparition prophecy?
To me, so far, much of what he predicts is predictable by most people who are paying close attention to what's happening in the world. The way he works is reminiscent of how those who claim to be psychics work.

It's interesting to note Trump has been way up in Michigan. Also in a recent speech Trump said that Jesus Christ was more famous than him and everyone should bow to the lord basically. It was a very different tone than I've ever heard from him
Trump was always way up in Michigan. He took every county except the huge urban counties, which happened to be the ones that were late reporting even projections, and then snuck boxes of ballots in vans brought at 3am, after they had evicted and locked out Republican and Independent poll observers and covered the windows where they were counting ballots. Even in those counties Trump was far ahead at 3am. But miraculously, after 3am, those newly delivered ballots almost all happened to be for Biden, and there were more ballots than there were voters from those precincts, but it was just enough to push Biden over the top in Michigan. "If you have to cheat to win, you're a loser," is what I say to that.
Trump never said to bow to God.
His goal is to become more famous than Jesus.

Cam, you are trying too hard to give this fellow the benefit of the doubt. You seem like you want to believe. Get a body language expert to watch this fellow and see what they think of his acting.
Body language experts can be wrong and sometimes disagree with one another. If you watch that panel of 4, it's true that they often agree, but they also disagree respectfully with one another sometimes.
Yes For example, cameron said he cried, but i didnt see any actual tears, just a lot of eye and face rubbing and sad facial expressions.

This guy's problem is he's trying to set himself up as a Prophet with a big P. He most likely occasionally has had experiences where the Lord has actually shown him things, i.e. the Trump assassination attempt, but then out of pride, wanting to be a Prophet with a big P, he fills in all sorts of vague stuff from his own mind and preconceptions. The more often he does that and falls victim to pride, he will get less actual specific prophetic information. I don't think the Trump thing could have been a case of if you make enough predictions one will come true. It was too detailed.

You are looking at him incorrectly. Joel 2: 28 explains Mr. Biggs. He is an old man dreaming dreams. He just made the mistake of telling you.
Brandon might also be watching a lot of RUclips videos that are sharing prophetic videos from Saints and others. I am still watching so I will see what your conclusion is.
That being said... God will use whoever He wants... and it's not because we are so holy..

There is more than one place that people, even Christians, can get spiritual information. There is a spiritual war currently happening. I don’t believe personally this guy is of God or at least receiving these visions from God.
No prophecy is 100%. Only God and his word is 100%. Why try and critique him he obviously hears from God.
Question can actual prophecies come from the occult; divination from demons a catholic sin.

I have watched many of Brandon's videos and noticed something puzzling in one of them.
In his video titled...

A few things stand out to me in this video.....
He states in the video that it is the year 2021 (at mark 57:50). However, in this video, he is thinner and appears to have lost a lot of weight compared to his appearance (heavier) in the videos he made just 6 months ago (in several current videos, he talks about how he has been on a weight loss journey mandated by the Lord and has lost 45 pounds and has 50 more to lose).
I believe the video I referenced in this post was filmed within the last 6 months, not in 2021.
However, I could be completely wrong about this if he has weight fluctuations, which is possible.
This is something I wanted to point out for those who follow him.
We need to pray for discernment......
I don't care what Anyone says! Brandon is Anointed by God! There is No Way Brandon could have known the details about Trumps Assassination Attempt unless God Showed him. Brandon has also been right about other prophecies!

Discernment is a good thing. Historically, people have been taken advantage of by people who have made alarming claims.
