you stole my trick!!! I use chicken bouillon in my pasta water too. My Nona is from Sicily and that's always the way she did it, so it's how I do it. People always comment too. They can't quite figure out what's different. Kind of satisfying when you have company for dinner lol. Great recipe btw, never ever would've thought of this and I'm so going to try it. I love everything in it, so I'm sure it's incredible. Now, where to find Mexican Crema!! I could use heavy cream in a pinch I'm guessing? Bon appetit
You can find the Mexican table creme in most grocery stores, including Walmart. It's usually in the cheese or dairy section along with the other Mexican cheeses. Our Walmart has it in the cheese section. The Safeway has it in the dairy area near the sour cream.

Tomato paste has salt in it unless otherwise labeled; so does cream cheese. We all eat a lot more salt than we realize.
