- Hello everyone, today I am so excited to share with you guys how I curl my hair without using any heat tools. I do these overnight curls so much using socks. I know socks sound crazy to curl your hair but it works so well and I love how they turned out. I show you guys a heatless curls tutorial and I hope this was helpful and works for some of you guys as well!!

ive been using heat on my hair for MONTHS to style my hair and bangs every day... im gonna try this tonight and update you guys since my hair is sooo dry its literally crunchy 😭

I knew they would turn out good, but I was not expecting them to turn out THIS AMAZING! It looks exactly as if I actually curled my hair! This was so worth it!! Thanks for the tutorial.
I have thick curly hair so here are some tips
Make sure your hair is between wet and damp because if it takes a long time then your hair will become less damp
Make sure you really keep your sock far from your bunch of hair and pull the hair strands towards the sock
Do it TIGHT but not to tight because it will be to hard to take out!!!! (You will rip out some hair 🥲)
Brush your hair TONS because the sock process will tangle it
a little tip: i used this method but i put curl cream in my hair instead of water. it works so so much better! hope this helps.
Do you think freshly washed hair with curl cream would work?
I'd use curl cream then this method with the socks. Hairspray or oil after removal of socks to secure it and stop fly away hairs.
I tried this with freshly washed hair, and it worked fine.

Thank you!! This method works SO GOOD. I used a silk bonnet on my head after wrapping my hair with the socks. It helped keep them in place while sleeping and have lessened the frizz.
I just tried this last night and it was… ✨AMAZING✨ Tysm for teaching us. Mine lasted the whole day until 9:00pm!! ❤❤❤
I just seen a girl on Tiktok use the sock upside down (foot of the sock at the top of her head) then use the opening part of the sock at the end then turn it inside out to secure. If that makes sense? Regardless, this was awesome (:

I have thick curly hair so here are some tips

im doing it tonight i will update yall in the morning!! ❤ (it’s morning now: ok so the curls worked VERY well in the front only. its also hurt very badly while sleeping. i may be the one doing it wrong tho. im going to practice at it till i get those “perfect curls” like she has😅)
I have a question how long did u sleep or like keep the socks on your hair ? I will do this method for my virtual graduation!!
I slept with them overnight so i'd say at least 7 hrs! the longer you leave them in the better they'll last throughout the day :)

@@dianna7118 my hair doesn’t hold curls that well, so after like 3 hours it was just some waves but there was still pattern in my hair, like it wasn’t just straight. I definitely recommend.
@@peytonarcher6348 thank u sm for answering. I just did this and ill leave them overnight and see the results tomorrow. Idk if they're gonna stay curly for a long time cuz i have very straight hair so its a bit problem but hopefully they gonna stay at least 2-3 hours. I always had this problem cuz i love curly hair but with whatever i've curled them they'll be straight less than an hour😩 butt lets see this tomorrow. Anyways tysm❤

Okay! I’ve done the sock twists and I’ll update in the morning, hopefully this will give a killer thanksgiving look!
Edit : completely forgot lol this is the only method I use now! The first time my hair was wet and it didn’t curl as much as I would’ve hoped. The next time I did it dry and it looked amazing! I love these easy heatless curls ❤️

The video does not do it justice!! This worked better than expected and the result is better than any curling iron!
Can someone explain how I can keep the sock in place on the first one? No matter how hard I pull the sock just falls down. And it’s not cause I have thin hair, I have thick hair, and I even tried holding it with a claw clip and it didn’t work.
I personally used a smaller claw clip and it held it up. I was using a bigger one and switched to a smaller and it held. If it still didn’t hold with a smaller one, maybe try to hold the sock up with your non dominant hand and use your dominant hand to wrap the hair?

@@jennifermontes5820 IT WORKED 👏🏻 I was sooo shocked ! I did it yesterday too and will do this going forward now since it will help me with growing out my hair and less heat damage ! 👏🏻 I have naturally straight hair also so I didn’t think it would hold but sure enough it did!
Like she said, your hair must be 80% dry and just a little damp. I used my Nike socks as well and just slept throughout the night , woke up, took them out gently and the curls were tight at first but then they loosen up just a bit to create such beautiful closely curls/waves and then I just put some serum on my hair to take any frizz away and it legit looked better than me using a curling iron 😝 so awesome

Have you ever tried while it is damp using a styling gel or mousse instead of the spray? Curlsmith In shower style fixer is one that can work well.

YOU MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY! I tried this but the sock kept becoming undone! anyone have tips maybe?
I used a robe belt as it cushions my hair and attached it at the top of my head with a claw clip. I hope this helps!
I have naturally curly/wavy hair (not curly or wavy noooo my hair has decided it will be different in different sections) but a chronic pain problem that left me in bed all day means my hairs ginna be a mess tomorrow hopefully this works. If not I'm straightening and crying 😅

Does it curl if you don't use hair spray at all?
This just looked so terrible in the evening and thought this would look really bad but i left t anyway and it turned out really good eventhouth in the morning they were not theight any they looked real nice thanks
How does your hair not unravel? I just did this and had to clip both sides to my head. Maybe it's cause I have layers but it gets really loose and sagged so much.
I found out if you want a VERRY subltle curls then do in for 20-1 hours!
I've got a suggestion I would use a dressing gown strap
