Feel free to give feedback and submit corrections, I will note them down in the description :) Sorry for messing up the timing from bar 242 to 249... I completely disagree with all the haters of Fear Inoculum. I have been a tool fan since the beginning of my music listening days and Fear Inoculum to me is their most technical, most mature and most progressive album to date. I don't agree that there is a lot of wasted space and meandering, it is meant to be exactly how it is. The music is so advanced that there are many people - mainly the ones who are addicted to the instant gratification headbanger heavy riffs all the time - who don't quite understand what Tool has communicated on this album. To me, every album is different and I truly believe that 7empest has become THE quintessential Tool song. It is THE culmination of their entire career and sound on one song.
They definitely have more records left in the tank and I couldn't be more excited.
BY THE WAY, MAX great job, this takes a lot of hard work and patience and I applaud you. Well played!

Fantastic job with every aspect of this incredible song!
Anyone notice that on an album with a song called Descending (the middle song) that the times for all songs are ascending (CVoices + CCTrip = 14). There is a metaphor there that as Tool members are ascending in age they are not descending in ability or creativity, although Invincible hints at the struggle to stay relevant and on your game as life pulls you to new battlefields.
And then they end with this gem of an excursion, the 7th song, with Adam Jones conjuring up his most melodic mesmerizing masterpiece to date. He chugs, he wails, he moans, he grunts through his silver Les Paul. And, it is amazing how for 15 minutes one guitarist can stay pretty much in a single key with little to no chord changes -- nearly everything stays within in D.

Don’t be so hard on yourself, bud! Maybe try somewhere else. Sometimes it’s just important to try. I started learning so many songs only to realise that I will not be able to play the solo mid-through, or some section that’s especially hard. For me, it’s just about _trying_ to learn the stuff that I love and not necessarily mastering it to perfection. You’ll learn much more from that. Have a good one! :)

@@MaxNiessl I appreciate the kind words. I've been able to play several other songs you've put up, its just this one in particular. ITs just a matter of practice for sure. I enjoy playing the parts that I can and have accepted my abilities as a hobbyist. But I see folks like you and can see how little i really know is all. Nothing wrong with it, I know if I dedicated more time I could learn it all, but like you said, its more about enjoying the process and when I try to sit and force myself to learn it, it's no longer fun and thats a problem. Its supposed to be fun. When it stops being fun, I stop trying to force it. I appreciate you and LeoBassCovers for your guys' work on this album. Adam is not a shredder, I'm sure he could messing around by himself (maybe). But he damn sure is a percussive player. One of the best, and best riff writers. He has a far above average knowledge of putting together parts you would never think would work, but they do and with fantastic outcomes. Young guys this go to show you that you don't have to play 50 notes per second to be a damn good guitar player. I spent years learnings scales, sweep picking, legato runs. But I would trade it all to be able to put together songs like Adam does. And Justin and Danny. 🤘🤘
