    My list is
    1) These Days - not a single bad song. It’s all amazing and beautiful. These Days, Hey God, Damned, and many many many others.
    2) Keep the Faith - Dry County and Keep the Faith are two favorites of mine. In These Arms and Bed of Roses are amazing love songs.
    3) Slippery When Wet - The three most popular songs of all time by Bon Jovi are in this. A titan album. A few weak songs, however.
    4) Have a Nice Day - THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL CHOICE but this is also my opinion. The most iconic album cover, a solid album altogether. Not a bad song, but some of the songs song similar to each other. If unreleased songs such as “Nothing” and “Dirty Little Secret” WOULDVE been included, an easy Top 3.
    5) New Jersey - some more memorable songs, but I must have overheard I’ll Be There For you, Born to be my Baby and Bad Medicine too much. A few good ones that weren’t overplayed in my life.
    6) Bounce - I love the sound of this album. The heavy rock and while there aren’t well-known songs, the entire album is super solid.
I’ll list the rest of them when I am free but those are my Top 6

Spot on. The most recent one is my least favourite. It’s so boring. Bounce is way better than these more recent ones in my opinion. Though I’d definitely have Slippery When Wet at one and Keep The Faith at two. These Days is too ballad heavy for me. I’d have that in the middle somewhere

Each album has songs that I love, as you said Brendon: 'We Don't Run' is a killer song from Burning Bridges.
Interesting facts: Hugh McDonald was the bass player & Tim Pierce was the guitar player on Runaway.
Bon Jovi have been a mega popular band here in Australia. They have toured here a lot and as such still get crowds of up to 65,000 people at the largest arenas - THINFS 2018 tour.
The band absolutely hate the 7800 album.
They have had 8x #1 albums here in Australia & 13 of their albums have been top 5. Pretty incredible when you consider that the first time they came was at the end of 87 with the Slippery tour.

    1. These Days (1995) - Not a single bad song I love all of them, Diamond Ring is the weakest and I still really like it
    2. New Jersey (1988) - yeah I like this one better then Slippery When Wet, but I just absolutely love everything on it and 99 In The Shade is criminally underrated
    3. Slippery When Wet (1986) - their 3 biggest hits and Never Say Goodbye are great and the rest of the songs on here of a high quality
    4. Keep The Faith (1992) - this one has one of their most underrated songs in I Want You but also the rest of the album is great
    5. Have A Nice Day (2005) I don’t care what anyone says this album is so good. It’s title track is one of their best title tracks but overall it’s so great
    6. Crush (2000) - This one was their “comeback” but I think it was a step down from their previous albums but it’s pretty good and it’s my life is awesome
    7. Bon Jovi (1984) - This one’s pretty good but kinda jumbled
    8. The Circle (2009) - I like this one, When We Were Beautiful is really good but overall it’s pretty good
    9. 7800 Fahrenheit (1985) - This one’s a little overrated but I really like Tokyo road but other than that it’s pretty good but nothing insane
    10. Burning Bridges (2015) I do genuinely really like this one and have very few problems with it
    11. This House Is Not For Sale (2016) God bless this mess, when we were us are my favorites it’s pretty decent
    12. 2020 (2020) - man this album was kind of a letdown but it’s grown on me, and beautiful drug is sooooo good
    13. Lost Highway (2007) - the country album, summertime and you wanna make a memory are good but other than that it ranges from good to meh
    14. What About Now (2013) this album bores me quite a bit, Amen is great but other than that this album isn’t very good
    15. Bounce (2002) - must I say more

Great ranking. Good to see some of their more recent albums feature so highly. Bon Jovi is one of my favourite bands. Never miss them whenever they come round live. I liked how you did NOT make the common and annoying mistake of saying 'they are all great.' You stated your opinions well. No. Your opinions didn't match mine. But I didn't expect them to. I have a weakness for "7800 F" myself. I liked half the songs on "Crush." I was surprised at how good "Have a Nice Day" was. That's my 2nd favorite. And "The Circle" was certainly better than I thought it would be.

I agree, I’m not a fan of album rankings that simply say all of the albums are good. It’s a bit more work going into the details but there are subtle differences in each album making me like some more than others. Still as a Bon Jovi fan, I do like their whole catalogue of work.

@@BrendonSnyder Exactly. I already know how I feel. I'd be more interested in understanding why someone else might feel differently. We agree that "Have a Nice Day" was great. I wouldn't have placed "Keep the Faith" so high. But it had a nice variety. "New Jersey" I fully understand. That was his pure self. "7800 F" is my top. But I certainly understand why you gave "Slippery When Wet" that honor. I tried to like some like CDs like "Lost Highway," and "Destination Anywhere" but couldn't.

This is a really interesting video. Must admit, though, I'm a Bon Jovi (first album) devotee! To me it's a classic debut, like Led Zep 1 and Shades of Deep Purple. I agree it's a mixed bag, but that's partly why I like it. Slippery.. seemed to take elements of the first record and polish them up, to great effect. I'd Die for You is quite similar to Runaway, but the really big hits are completely original. She Don't Know Me is perfect pop/rock, and Get Ready is heavy rock nirvana. :)

I love the unpolished sound of the debut. I thought lost highway was a huge risk that paid off financially for the band, but sound wise it was a rather hard listen.
Keep the Faith doesn’t have a bad track and the songs are a huge improvement songwriting wise and maturity wise. Just overall my favorite.

    I've lost them after CRUSH.
When the single 'It's My Life' came out I felt like I've heard some pieces of it before, especially the intro and the way the verses were written.
So, apparently this is the rockier version of 'Hit me baby one more Time'. Same Scandinavian songwriters who also wrote hits for The Backstreet Boys.
I think Richie Sambora left because of the changing musical direction. Pitty, they've lost their best singer. Stranger in This Town from Richie is the best Bon Jovi-album ever made without Bon Jovi.

If you have listened to any of Richie’s solo albums then you know he’s a fan of all different types of music and non of his solo work sounds like Bon Jovi so him leaving had nothing to do with musical differences. Bon Jovi is my top favourite band of all time, as it’s hard to rank them, for me, but this is what I put them in:
    15: Burning Bridges (2015)
Half the songs are great, but the other half are a bit boring.
    14: What About Now (2013)
Had many great songs scattered about the album, and had some promising songs, but just didn’t deliver for me.
    13: Bon Jovi (1984)
I agree with you on the point that it’s a bit inconsistent on the musical front, but I still enjoy it as a great start for the band, but a bit outdated in many places.
    12: 7800 Fahrenheit (1985)
I love it better than the debut, but the age of it doesn’t always hold up, but it still has great songs on it.
    11. 2020 (2020)
This album was promising with many songs on it, but some of it is a bit forgettable at times, but it’s still an enjoyable album worth adding to the collection.
    10. Crush (2000)
A great album to start the next generation of Bon Jovi fans around the world, some of it doesn’t all hold up, especially my least favourite Bon Jovi song is on this too, ‘Captain Crash’ which is abhorrent to me.
    9: These Days (1995)
A great Bon Jovi album from the 90’s, and really suits in the times of the band at that time, and has decent songs, but some of them feel more longer than they should, but still brilliant.
    8: Lost Highway (2007)
A great mix of country and rock in their sound and has many great ideas to the album, and it fits well to the discography, despite the flack it gets from fans, but it is enjoyable in my opinion.
    7: Have A Nice Day (2005)
My first Bon Jovi album I heard, before the other albums, as it holds a special place in my heart as I was a teenager and this album fits perfectly for me, but there are others that go above this album I love more now, but still a favourite of mine.
    6: New Jersey (1988)
This album I consider to be the heaviest Bon Jovi album ever in the 80’s era, as this album was released at the same time as many other great metal and rock albums and it’s one of the best of that year.
    5: Slippery When Wet (1986)
The album from the band I knew about before hearing the rest of the other ones, but heard it properly after ‘Have A Nice Day’ and one of my favourite classic albums ever.
    4: Bounce (2002)
This album could have easily been my favourite Bon Jovi album, but slips under my Top 3, because of what came before and after it, and I have enjoyed it and I consider it to be their most modern heavier album.
    3: Keep The Faith (1992)
My personal favourite classic album from them, and I always love it from the time I bought my copy of the album in 2011, and one of my favourites to listen to, ever.
    2: The Circle (2009)
I considered this to be my favourite Bon Jovi album for the longest time until what came after, but it is still one of my favourites and one I love listening to forever.
1: This House Is Not For Sale (2016)
Now, I don’t care what people say about this album, but it’s my top favourite Bon Jovi album, despite it doesn’t have Richie on it, and I know the hate it gets by many fans, because of that, but it’s an album I love and one that I will always love as part of the band’s music and one I always enjoy forever!
That’s my ranking and even though I would sometimes add the Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora solo releases to my ranking as well, but I wouldn’t make this comment long, so I am keeping to the studio albums and many of the songs on the Greatest Hits and Live releases are fantastic too.
Thanks for your ranking of my favourite band and I am happy that I did get it requested from time to time and it was really well done.
