That was my Homie you are Truly missed big Hizit I remember we used to call Hank that Back in the Days such a good person Had so much to live for rest well Big fella 🙏 ❤
I think he would've had a great NBA career, still heartbroken we didn't get to see it. I'm even more heartbroken for his family, friends, coaches & team mates for the horrific loss they suffered. Great clip, enjoyed seeing the young Dickie V too!
It was such a shame. He would have had a great pro career. Those Loyola Marymount teams were nothing that will ever be seen again. I'm glad to get to share all the old sporting events with fans.
@@retrosportsvision5873 Sadly, that happened 4 years after the death of another promising athlete, Len Bias. He too would've had a great NBA career, but unfortunately, we'll never know how great he and Hank Gathers would've been in the Association.
@@SABMashupMuseumYou’re Absolutely right Sir!!!!…Words Cannot Describe What We as Fans missed with Hank & Len.. Both Humble Guys 6”8 Strong & Powerful with Tremendous Conditioning.. Im still in Awe of What We missed til this very day as I look at Their Old Highlights….Wow!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
It is powerful to hear him talk so much of playing from his heart given what happened. Some events stand out in memory. Hank Gathers' death is one.
