Facts!! At 6'2" and still getting your head to the rim, that means you're jumping nearly 3'10" off the ground (which is equivalent to 46"). He's among the greatest leapers in the league, doing acrobatic and technically difficult dunks, and STILL yamming it with authority. A lot of other people's dunks get soft when they get more technical, so I'm grateful to witness Mac displaying some much needed ferociousness.

Those were simple dunks that my 5 year old could execute.

He is 24 years old, and has appeared in a total of 4 games. He is a two in a one's body.
Gotta love it!! The support everyone gave Mac was dope. Shattered the stereotypes that night
This is it, he’s now in the NBA. I am so happy for him, he deserves it. Way to seize the moment and shine !!!

Absolutely. If he wasn't should have been a crime.

He can really play, don't know why he was in the G league?!
He'll be unemployed next week. I see a career flipping burgers for this kid.
The dunks were full of creativity. That's what we need in the dunk contest. In recent years, only him and Aaron Gordon were doing something new. What matters the most was they did those dunks with only one try and did it effortlessly
Aaron Gordon was robbed.

I love the crowds reaction during the replays when they realized he tapped the backboard. Epic stuff.

I love when the little guys get an opportunity and don’t disappoint! He was great and I was loving every minute of the dunk contest! At 6’2”, his head was near the rim! Incredible!!
@@3rdCoastAlliance 6’2 is probably what they listed him to give him a better opportunity to play professional ball, they do that to everyone under 6’5. Dude is 6’1 and 1/4 barefoot this makes this even more impressive. His wingspan is 6’2 which is slightly above average for his height, shit I’m 5’9 and my wingspan is longer than his which again that all makes it more impressive. He’s very athletic and explosive.
But his height is one of factors he’s not in the nba, sure there’s have been shorter players but they don’t rely solely and explosivenesses and athleticism they play very fundamentally sound basketball their BB IQ is off the charts, they know how to distribute the ball and how to make plays. Mac has built his game on his crazy athleticism and speed that fades away with time and makes you more prone to injuries as well hence why they overlook him.
I like the dude a lot he’s legit, seems very humble and he’s a hard worker I hope he can figure out what he needs adjust to play at the next level.
@@ShinigamiUchihax2 Thing is, he also has those skills that you mentioned like passing, shooting, etc. Sure he may need to continue to work on them, but he came a long way. I really hope the 76ers give him minutes!

Never thought this would be the man to bring excitement back to the dunk contest phenomenal skills 😳🔥💯
And the fact that he's considered "short" by NBA standards makes it all the more impressive 🥇
Not only is he short, he’s melanin deficient.

Big men have a harder time in the dunk contest. It's all about visuals.
@wisdomfromtheheart1317 he's only 6 foot 2. Average height in the NBA is around 6 foo 7- 6 foot 8. This is insanely impressive.
Spud Webb was 5”7 when he won. That’s insane

@@scratchpenny you really don't know if he is living his dream, do you? because if his dream is to play in the NBA, like for real, with a long contract, then you are going to be in for a rude awakening. he's an undersized two-guard who barely shot 40% in college. he can't create for others or defend. his only strengths are his leaping ability (as you saw) and his heart. he's not good enough to carry jimmer fredette's luggage.
