I just bought the new model with 1 ohm, I was so impressed!! Just for $100, this little honey badger amplifier does the job, 2,12" kickers, and the amplifier still laughing 😃
I got mine on mtx terminator box with two 12's. Wired at 2 ohm on amplifier. Sounds great. Does about 700 watts. Was a temporary replacement for the mtx amplifier that faulted. Sounds twice as good as amplifier that came with sub setup.
Got mine pushing a gothic in a trailblazer, I was having huge problems clipping and going into protection mode but I figured out that I was receiving a dirty signal from my head unit, I switched the output to the mono sub using a splitter and it allowed me to only receive signals less than 80HZ so I can use my highs without distorting signal to amp. This thing slaps but you have to have everything right.
This is a beast of an amp. I have 2 DVC 2 ohm 15" Memphis M6 subs, and they're wired at 2 ohms each on their DVC's and wjth the 2 subs Hooked together at the amp, that makes them 4 ohm subs pulling 2 ohms at the amp. That's a perfect number for these subs on this amp because they're loud this way and the amp barely gets warm. The M6 subs are rated at 900 rms each. I am splitting 700 to them as this amp does 700 rms at 2 ohms. I think 1 of these amps on each sub would be phenomenal. People underestimate these amps all because they're sold at Walmart and not an install shop, however they think buying an amp from Amazon is professional 😂 Sorry..Had to say that. I have a 3600 watt Kicker amp on order and they certify their amps with the exact wattage they put out and give you a paper stating that. Either way, I'm happy with this amp for now. It's worth buying and saving money on a more expensive amp. I went the HYPNOTICS 2200 route, with videos of them, and they were junk. 3 of them went into protect mode and 1 started to smoke. Never had that kind of trouble all the years I've done this, until this go around, except for a JunkSEN (Jensen) 600 watt amp sold at Sears..Anyway, enough of that. Good luck everyone and yes, I recommend the PA Razor amp. I even have a video of it playing my 2 15's. It does a great job
I believe you. But depending on the box size, you may be seeing an impedance rise upwards of 5-6ohms. Making what you're subs only see a couple hundred watts each. If you model your subs and box in winisd, you can get an idea of what your box rise will be. I'm only saying this because once I knew what my impediment rise would be, I wired my 2 dvc (dual 4) down to 1 ohm.. actually .8 ohms. Amp still runs cool, but it's putting out a lot more power. After box rise winisd had my impedance at @3ohms.. even though the two MM read at .8
Um when u have a sub that is two ohms that's 1 ohm on each coil I'm guessing it's a dual choice coil so what happens when u connect 2 ohms to another 2 ohms ? U get 1 ohm now if u did this to each sub that makes each sub now 1 ohm when u connect 1 ohm to another 1 ohm what do u get ? .5 ohm so ur seeing a difference because ur running ur amp at now half ohm load ......let's get it together ppl the internet is FULL of false information
@@hendrix87boss go to Sonic Electronix page and watch How to wire 2 dvc 2 ohm subs to a 2 ohm final impedance.. You can wire each individual sub series parallel and make it a 4 ohm load-On each sub.. Once you hook the 2 subs together, they become 2 ohms at the amp. You're correct, let's get with it people

Just bought this to push a Pioneer SWX2502 Shallow sub in the pioneer box. Car I bought came with it and a JVC amp, but the amp can't push the rear speakers and this amp without shutting off. I know it's probably overkill, but it was $10 cheaper than the lower powered Jensen mono amp. Can't wait to hear this sub actually perform.
I have focal utopia center 3” two 3” mids 4 utopia tweeters and 4 6.5” in the doors. All running on a helix v twelve $2000 dsp amp. So I spent over $11,000 on all my mids and highs and also two focal subs under seat. Now for bass I have this amp and two kicker comp c 12” lol. This amp slams and never gets hot. Never it’s insane with the tune coming from my helix
I have one of these powering a skar zvx 12 @ 1ohm and it is obnoxiously loud.. obviously i know i should have something with 4 times the power for my sub.. but i just bought this till i have my power upgraded, its been soo good i havent been in a rush to even upgrade!!
If you want more Bass pull the kicker out and get the Power Acoustik Gothic 12in dual 4 Ohms and run it down to 2 ohms guaranteed you will feel the difference
Homeboy is running a Comp R. I’ve heard good things about the Gothic but it’s definitely not beating a Comp R especially since the Comp R is great at getting crazy low with authority. Lol.
I have this amp.on two 12 inch KICKER L7s & I cant believe how hard this little amp pushes them .I even have it wired to 1ohm & people think I have an other amp hidden somewhere lol
2ohms and I got it paired with 4 kicker 225w 6x8s in the doors and DS18 200w tweeters in the a pillars all on a Crunch 1500w 4 channel for them good mids and highs! I don't have any videos on my page but I'm going to make one soon just to show off this build! It was a budget build but it's STUPID LOUD! My neighbors complained after a good 1 minute test so I know you can hear me coming down the block. The Crunch 4 channel amp I paid $68 for off of Amazon and this power acoustic amp from Walmart for 99 bucks. $180 on the kicker 6x8s in the doors and less than $20 for the DS18 tweeters off Amazon. My uncle gave me 2 old dirty kicker comp 10s from before 2016 (300w RMS 600w max) I cleaned them up and sold them for 175 and turned around and put that towards the dual kicker CompR loaded enclosure (1000wRMS 2000w max)for $300 so I came outta pocket $125 for some 2000w kickers. I think I paid a little over 300 for all the speakers and 180 on 2 amps.

I have it pushing 2 Skar EVL 12's at 1 ohm. My amp has NEVER seen 2 ohms. If gains and other adjustments are set correctly, this amp is a 1ohm monster all day. Been pushing 1 ohm since day one over 1 year ago and not the first issue.
Yup, these handle 1 ohm no problemo. I would still recommend you put more power to a pair of EVLs though. Those need a Smart 3K or even a properly tuned 5K.

Could get an RP 1200 for about $60-70 more and would get another 400~ watts. I'd recommend an RP 2000 for $212 though so if you ever wanted to upgrade subs in the future you'd have some more power left on the table.

Best to go with 4 gauge wire. It only fits 8 gauge wire so look for a reducer from 4 to 8. Its going to push a lot of power and will actually heat up the thinner wires. I run 2 of these amps with 2 Alpine type S 1800w subs and they hold up great!
Keep in mind a amp dyno uses a FIXED ohm load. Real world speaker loads are dymanic. Ohms change as the sub moves. Its called impedance rise(box rise). You might be wired to a 2ohm load, but once the speaker cone moves, impedance goes up. As impedance goes up, power output goes down. That being said. I run it at 1.33ohm on 3 cheap svc 4ohm 12s
Thanks for the video! Im getting this hooked up at car toys this week. Gonna run 2 12" kickers. They are charging me $800 because they said they had to tear my dash apart because of the stock radio. Should i question that? You mentioned you dont have to do all that with this amp. I will let you know if it bumps or not. They also said it wont bump that hard because its only 650 watts. $800 is a rip off to hook up this sub. You can tap it into one of your door or back speakers with the high to low connectors. The hardest part is just running the power wire from the battery to the amp. I'd go somewhere to get it installed if you can't do it yourself.

It's in my nephew's truck so not really sure what he has it set at. You just gotta play around with it because it will vary on what box and subs your using. 👍
Oh yes. And no.. My two dvc subs wired parallel show a .8ohm load connected to the amp. BUT after the impedance rise (3.3ohms at 36hz . tuning) caused from the large efficient box they are in.. the amp never sees that .8ohm load. They subs are always over 3 ohm, so the amp stays cool.
@dasuaveologist5823 yeah I was thinking about running a couple dj speakers in parallel off of one. Guess you could buy some F mods from Parts express...inline rca crossovers. I think they have them for high pass too. I'm thinking it was like 12db each. But one channel amp you could cut out the unwanted frequencies fairly well. Yeah foods by Harrison labs.
I hooked this to my 2" 12in pioneer subs in a closed box with a 2 inch port and it sounds horrible and my Fosgate p300 hits way way way harder and this amp blew my under hood power fuse and melted it in 10 minutes its garbage
And what size wire you running? Big 3? What size alternator? How was power wire hooked to battery? What was your final ohm load? What are subs, dual 2, dual4, how were they wired?. Lots of oom for user error, which normally that's where the issue lies

I bought 3 of these, 1 didnt work out of the box, the othe two push like 250 @ 4 0hm. Literally the worst amps I have ever purchased. They clip and protect before they make good sound, much less thump. Never again will i purchase from this company.

$65 at a pawn shop and I've had 10's, 12's and 15's and it made them all sound good, can't beat it.

That amp is a solid 600 watts at 1 ohm. Even thou they say it's not rated for 1ohm have been running one at 1 ohm for 2 years lol

Infinitys are really good for mids and highs. JBL might give a bit more bass if u want that.

It's built into the amp. I ended up using the RCA jacks straight from the radio.

No single DVC sub can be wired down to 1ohm but you can bring it down to 2.

I bought two kicker subwoofers and bought this amp but some reason there’s no sound coming from the subwoofers and the AMP is powered and on but idk

It's not for door speakers as it only has one output speaker connection for bass.
Yes as long as you don't wire it at too low of a final ohm load..personal I would run the Dr speakers off my head unit.

I asked the same thing. Think it's meant only for bass. Crossover I believe is just lower frequencies

@dasuaveologist5823 yeah I was thinking about running a couple dj speakers in parallel off of one. Guess you could buy some F mods from Parts express...inline rca crossovers. I think they have them for high pass too. I'm thinking it was like 12db each. But one channel amp you could cut out the unwanted frequencies fairly well. Yeah foods by Harrison labs.

I hooked this to my 2" 12in pioneer subs in a closed box with a 2 inch port and it sounds horrible and my Fosgate p300 hits way way way harder and this amp blew my under hood power fuse and melted it in 10 minutes its garbage
Your Fosgate p300 only puts out 300 watts. This Razor puts out over 600 watts. Your subs and electrical can't handle the power. It's a little beast.
And what size wire you running? Big 3? What size alternator? How was power wire hooked to battery? What was your final ohm load? What are subs, dual 2, dual4, how were they wired?. Lots of oom for user error, which normally that's where the issue lies

@@MicroModDude i got mine wired 1Ω to my Sundown Xv2 10D2 that's rated 1500rms and it loves this amp. That kicker would blow the coil slapping the frequencies i can hit.

I bought 3 of these, 1 didnt work out of the box, the othe two push like 250 @ 4 0hm. Literally the worst amps I have ever purchased. They clip and protect before they make good sound, much less thump. Never again will i purchase from this company.
