The clip I've wanted to see ever since .... on point and directly explained wow ! Most of the other vids elaborate so much instead of physically and the part where you didn't skip any of the part while inserting the cables was it for me to be able to understand how to set up . Much appreciated
Thank you bro! I'm planning to make a let's play series on the new Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and I couldn't figure out how to record in game audio, and listen to the gameplay at the same time. Now I know to use Chat Link Pro, thank you again homie✌🏼
Well put together video, you should do more of these videos, you kept it simple and easy to understand🙌🏻
Thanks for this!!! I got game chat audio up and running!!!!
When I used the hd60s+ it only picked up audio when I had the chat link cable plugged in. Now since I upgraded to 60x it picks up the audio before I plug it in so when I plug it in I get a tiny echo. Any idea what settings I need to screw with?
Bro thank you so much for telling me to use gain for the capture card👍🏾helped a lot😁
How do u get hdmi capture hd60 as the audio input and its not popping up for me
is chat link pro required? Like if i just buy the elgato you're saying theres no way at all for audio to be captured for recordings/streams?
yo i need some help... so with my chat link i can hear the gameplay but not myself. i just bought new astros and set it up the same way i just cant hear myself. let me know if u could help me thanks.
keep going buddy dont give up, keep going, we wanna see more of you! i found your channel from this video and you helped me gj
Thanks man appreciate it. Don’t worry I’ve got some projects in the works coming out soon I just haven’t found the time to work on them but you commenting on my video has motivated me allot. 🙏
i have the game capture HD how do i get it to work with this
good help straight to the point
My headset mic will not work when the chat link pro is plugged in. When I just plug my headset into the controller, my mic works. Could i have a faulty chat link?
Are you setting it up properly?
@@undefinedprint Yes. I don’t understand why it won’t work
Also about bitrate, it's about having way less pixels and ghosting.
Higher the bitrate, way less to see ghosting-motion blur and square pixels.
I tested it with 2500 that was put on setup which was awful. it looked like having sea water on eyes.
My mic don’t won’t I can hear everyone but me
Where is the link
Everytime I try to use it, the video works fine, but the audio is horrible, I have it on analog audio and it just sounds bad, you can see it in action on my capture card test streams, can someone help please?
Check out my latest video. The info I put in the video should help. I had audio issues before too until I figured it out.

Anyway I can set it up with my Bluetooth headphones ? If not I’ll go ahead and buy a new mic, but I’m tryna save the money if I can
Tbh I’m not sure. I think it depends on your setup. But elgato does say that the wireless headphones that would work would be the Astro a40/50’s. Not sure about any other brand.
@@undefinedprint thank you fam
What computer specifications do I need for it to work without Daily?
I have 8 RAM
Windows 10 (64-bit)
CPU: 6th generation Intel Core i5 CPU (i5-6xxx)* / AMD Ryzen 7 (or better)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10xx (or better)
Ram: 4 GB RAM, built-in USB 3.0 port.
Why you stop making videos broski?
What if I don’t have a wired headset? My headset is wireless, I also use a blue yeti snowball for my mic so how would that work
Depends on the wireless headset and your set up. Are you using the blue yeti for the PS five or the PC?
I also have another video I uploaded on my setup
@@undefinedprintI’m using blue yeti for the ps5 to speak out of but using my steel series headset to listen out of
Can we connect with ipad tở monitors with tish device?
I'm not sure. dont think so tbh
For me there is no audio coming into my headset it comes out of my monitor cause it has speakers built in and i tried going into my ps5 and changing the audio to headset but it says i dont have one connected can u help?
🤔 do you have a chat link cable, if so how do you have it hooked up?
I will be releasing a video explaining my audio setup
Does anybody know how to fix ONLY my voice streaming quietly? Game volume is like 800x louder than my voice no matter what I do.
Have you tried adding a gain volume in obs to make your voice louder. Sorry for the late reply. I’m not usually on the account.
Can the HD60x capture the image of my professional camera to use it as a webcam?
You will need the Lgado cam link for that
how do we hear alerts?
Well, with the set up, in this particular video, you can’t hear alerts to your headphones unless you were to have them come out your speakers, which could end up being echoed due to the sound depending on how loud you have your speakers, your mic will pick it up and your viewers will hear it twice or at the same time, but just louder. Now what I would recommend me to do is watch my other video on my actual set up that I’m currently using which I think is better you can watch the video here: ruclips.net/video/LWY3_7MrNvg/видео.htmlsi=AzKC6WCgzgghO11W
so im a bit confused so i take the hdmi cable that is in my ps4 already and use that one to plug it into my capture card?? but then my second monitor would no longer be connected to the ps4 so im confused
Yes so once you have the hdmi from your PS4 plugged into the elgato, you take the other hdmi and plug that into the elgato to the your second monitor that you’ll be using. The usb just hooks up to your pc. That’s all.
@@undefinedprint okay! Thank you so much! I’ll give it a try later today!!! ☺️ God bless ❤️
@@undefinedprint ooooh okay!! Thank you so much for helping me I appreciate it! have a wonderful and blessed day!
Just got this and planning to get 4K Pro Mk2.
However the lag really puts me off to even use it where i'm forced to use OBS.
Sure OBS has more options but it's tedious to get correct setup to be full 4K.
Like bitrate, it's hard to accept between 65k or 140k.
Both 30 seconds was giving me result of 265 and other 524mb.
If that's amount of bitrate them i suspect for over 5 hours would be over 1TB.
I plan to keep some for adding into editing later so i don't record again.
On OBS was giving me an issue till i fixed it. It had lag as well with audio and recording but i fixed it.
I get used to be like Game Capture HD. Not much to do setups, doesn't require OBS and does it without issues.
Bit of recording delay between console and PC, but everything is fine.
I never had hicups till later and luckily they just be for a sec that is barely noticeable (just goes away immediately).
I was originally gonna get the 4k pro as well since it seemed more convenient and easier to setup but it was too expensive for me and out of stock at the time of buying the hd 60x. I had audio input delay too until I finally fixed it, which I showed in my latest video. I was thinking of going back to OBS but too lazy to setup everything
@@undefinedprint Ok, so i just got 4K Pro MK2 and seems to be far perfect.
Much better than this.
I don't know if it's due to awful cable or something but i got 4K Elgato's cable that is 2M 120Hz 2.1 on Amazon with it.
So far i love 4k Pro MK2.
No issues so far.
Not even a lag.
How much is gonna last?
I hope big enough.
Will get another next year, as 60 X will serve as replacement.
4K Pro mk2 doesn't have any lag or stuttering, but that didn't last long for my Game CC HD (like been for a year or two then started to show a little in some parts. It looks like glitching or skipping a bit).
@@undefinedprint New info: I just got in small part where it desync the quality for half sec (looking like silver-bIack pixels thrown on screen) but then it be normal again without ruining any audio quality.
So it turns out that it has mini issues.
Still it's better to be in that way for like once per recording than entire issue in all recordings.
yo bro do you know why people will hear a echo when i have chat link pro plugged in but theres no echo on the stream?
Tbh idk. I haven’t had that problem before. I’d say check if you have the ISO switch on the chat link pro turned off or on.
@@undefinedprint its off, what i tried was i plug a usb mic into my ps5 and switched the mic to that instead of the headset mic and people said theres no echo. i asked 3 ppl 2 said no more echo 1 said very small echo. not 100% sure if its fixed but i think i figured something out
Yeah, that could work too. That’s basically what I’m doing right now to just using an external USB microphone
how do i set it up with out a ps5 i habe a gaming pc
Personally, I wouldn’t use this if you didn’t have a gaming console, I would just use OBS or stream labs, OBS, or another software that’s similar. I don’t really see the point in using an el Gato for your PC to capture your gameplay as there’s free software out there to do that
@@undefinedprint makes sense to why I couldn’t find any vids on setting it up for pc
so bro using this will i be able to hear both ps5 and pc audio so like i can listen to music from the pc or hear alerts
No the way I have mine setup in the video is just to hear PlayStation game and party chat audio. You won’t be able to hear pc. That’s a whole other setup process which will be in my next vid coming soon. Just make sure to turn post notifications on for that video.
@@undefinedprint i gotchu
I feel like I might have missed something. Everything works, except for game audio, sadly. I have a wired headset plugged into my controller via chat link and it’s plugged into the capture card. I can hear the audio through my headset, but not in my recordings. Any tips??
Do you have hdmi audio or analog audio set in the audio setting on the 4k utility application?
@@undefinedprintshould the audio be set to HDMI? I think I have the same issue, on 4K Capture utility. There’s no game sound coming from the speaker icon on the bottom far right of the 4K capture utility window
@@NFSBeast2365No change it to analog bc if its HDMI audio wont work
So if i set it up lile that can i record pc games and ps5 games?
So the way I have mine setup in the video is for recording ps5 games. You can record pc but you won’t be able to hear any desktop audio sense your headset is connected to the chat link cable which is connected to the ps5.
Video coming soon to explain the audio setups to hearing both pc and ps5
i just realized the editing mistake i left in at the beginning of the video. sorry for that
Quit cutting. Stop inserting so many different takes.
Yeah, sorry about that. I realized really late after uploading that I kept in different takes I would’ve re-uploaded the video if I had known earlier
good vid bro, the chops are just distracting, all love keep it up
dawg idk why my chatlink pro isnt picking up my voice at all in anyrhing, obs or the 4k capture. i have it on analog and everything idk what to do
Same here. Guess we’ll never figure it out lmao ive been looking for hours and cant find anything about it. Everyone is saying it should just work but it doesnt
Check out this video I made to see if this solves your problem.
How To Setup Your Elgato For Streaming and Recording (Without Chatlink pro)
ruclips.net/video/LWY3_7MrNvg/видео.html
I figured it out though, chatlink doesn’t pick up your mic just the audio going to your headsets not coming from. Youll have to get a usb mic for your pc. You can turn mic monitoring to max and itll kinda pick up your voice but youll be quieter than the game and everyone else
@@davidponder1654 Wait, let me clarify what you're saying. I got an hd60x, and a chatlink pro so I could record gameplay and in-game voice chat AND ps5 party chat not only from myself but from other players. Are you saying this setup will only record in-game voice chat/party chat from the other players but not from me? If so, this is a bummer. I got the whole thing because for whatever reason ps5's console record software will record my voice but not the other players.
@@Joe_Friday yes. It will only record your xbox/playstation party, not yourself, youll need a secondary microphone for that, which is recommended anyways because the quality of headset microphones arent great for content. You can get a decent usb mic for 50-100 bucks. I got a razer one that cost me 40 bucks, works great.
I followed everything you said still nothing no sound.
really? is there no sound in your stream or recording?
how i set the audio ?
Depends, if your using the chat link cable you set the audio in the elgato software to analog. If your not using the chat link cable and your headphones are directly connected to your PC to hear your desktop audio choose HDMI in the elgato software. And make sure you select the same on your PlayStation.
@@undefinedprint i dont have a chat link :(
waht to do ?
3090 ti dont support hdmi
It only supports HDMI 2.1 I’m not sure if a Gato supports 2.1 I would assume so so I would say use a HDMI 2.1 cable and see how that works
