  • Welcome to Dispel Magic!
In this super sized ep, we have our first guest, Derrick from How Not to DM and Dragon Talk! We cover Zone of Truth, chosen by Derrick for its interesting existential properties. Yeah, we're getting philosophical in this one. Lotta self reflection. And you know we're bringing that good bureaucratic content!
You can find Derrick and all his links here: linktr.ee/hn2dm

one thing i dont ever see people mention about the spell is that someone in the area makes a save *every round*
"Until the spell ends, a creature that enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn *or starts its turn there* must make a Charisma saving throw"
so in the judicial system, if all you need is a simple yes/no answer from someone, they have to succeed on that saving throw up to 100 times if they want to tell a lie

Just another option to get around zone of truth using magic mouth.
If the poll from enlarge reduce was correct, they said that a dead tooth was an object, you could cast magic mouth on your dead tooth and it would work even if you were naked.

Ooo, if crowns count, there could be a whole spy industry around enchanted crowns!
