They had it right with the fifth generation Camaro’s but the face lifted 6 gens are just bad in my opinion. They look way to exotic for a car that was originally just a cheap straight line piss missile.
I see where you're comin from, they've added a ton of extra curves and angles and it's a lot more sportscar-ish than it used to be

@@jdmozee12 I got the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires and it hooks up really well. The Eagle F1 tires that come on the camaro aren't great. Highly recommend the pilot sport 4s or getting wider wheels

I like these kinds of videos because it gives me a good broad look of the marketplace I'm interested in without having to do the legwork myself. Hopefully, I'll be in the market in this price range in a year or two after school and have a fun V8 muscle car as a daily before I hit 30. Fingers crossed... Also, the memes are on point as always. The one in the beginning was too real. So many of the roll "racing" on youtube shows guys leaving at two and thinking they're slick, lol!

No correction that's not right, the Challenger hellcat runs 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and 1/4s in 10.8. Which is amazing when you consider the weight of the big beautiful beasts, and the Challenger 1320 is the quickest naturally aspirated production car made right now. It runs the 1/4 in 11.7 at 115 mph and is nicknamed the baby demon, since it shares many of the performance parts with the king

C6 Stingray is pretty damn quick for the power it has. I didn't know they were actually faster than the previous generation Z06. I got a 2016 in late 2019 for $42k used under 10k miles. I sold it after just over a year when I moved and had to consolidate 2 cars down to one and no longer had a garage. Drove it for a year and got what I paid for it but if I would had held onto it a bit longer I could have got nearly $50k with the way used car prices went up. Wasn't a fan of the cylinder deactivation but other then that it was fun. You can get 30 mpg on the highway pretty easily though.

I love me a fast mustang but I think my next car is going to be a z06 c5 or a c6 stingray. I have a couple buddies with them and have fallen in love. I liked the SRTs for a really long time but seeing how often they are in the shop when I was a salesman at a dodge dealership put me off. They are fine with lower miles but once they start getting up there they can have issues. Plus it’s really hard to find one that hasn’t been beat to shit while you can still find vettes that were owned by some old guy.

I just looked again and I'm seein em now for mostly like 60k which is rough, but I know I saw at least a few at the time I made this video for under 50 with lowish miles from dealerships. I'm not saying you're wrong, I've noticed from comments other areas have much lower or much higher prices for some cars than around me but I just always check to make sure the prices are realistic for these videos, otherwise I end up sadly taking the car out of the list😂

Interesting to see a v6 on the list that actually has one of the faster 0-60s. Goes to show you don’t really need a big v8 to get impressive numbers. But you do sacrifice the satisfying sounds of a v8 in return for extra gas mileage and luxury in this instance
Very true, and it's all about what you want. Personally, if I had the money for one of these, I'd sacrifice the mpg/slightly better speed/luxury for the V8 sound but that's just my preference

06-13 zo6 is the best of the bunch in my opinion.
I bought a 2012 GT500 back in 2019 for 38K, the prior owner modded it with a 2.9L Whipple (gen 2, old skool) and the dyno sheet claims it makes 750Hp at the crank. NGL I suck at driving it though as I don't have the skill for proper fast shifting or keeping it straight when deep in the throttle haha

I’m pretty sure you’ve already done the C5 z06 in a different video but I’m certain you know the 4.0 seconds to 60, some magazines even report 3.9. And if I recall the later C6 Z06 got better tires resulting in a 3.4 second 0-60. The early ones with modern tires could easily match this for anyone who wants to know.
Hell yeah man, C5Zs are nuts performance wise when you look at the prices, I think C5s all around are one of the best performance for price deals you can get
@@LibertyDrives for sure bro, I love em. Personally I think it’s the best looking vs the C6 and C7. But you seem to prefer the C6 and C7 is that correct? My goal is take a 2004 corvette Z06 swap in a TR6060 transmission from the C6 ZR1 and a lingenfelter 454 cubic inch build LS7. Good for 820 horsepower N/A and over 8000rpm. Theirs afew examples online I think you’d like too check out. I feel like I’m honestly taking a decent amount of your time lol, you already respond to mine and so many others comments, far more than any other RUclipsr. Don’t feel like you need to spend your energy engaging with at least me so often, not gonna hurt my feelings. And I’m sure you wouldn’t mind some extra breaks.

I am thinking to buy a low milage autimatic C7, maybe 2018 or 2019. I know they are fast but nobody talks about their handling. Do you think they handle good? Are they squirrely at high speed and get you wrapped around a tree?...😳😳please tell me your experience with C7 handling or send me the link to some good videos on C7 handling. Thank you brother.
Hey brotha! First of all, I'll be pretty jealous if you get your hands on a C7😂 As far as driving them at high speed, I'm not sure how they do but hopefully someone else who's got some experience with that sees this. But as far as typical handling goes, I feel like they're powerful but not overly powerful if you had a good set of tires. You could also keep traction control on always until you get much more familiar with the car. Again, I sadly don't have any first hand experiences with them but I hope it all goes well for you and that someone else can be more helpful than me🙏 Stay safe and good luck man!

I’d go for the scat because of how most v8 muscle cars are being replaced with the v6 twin turbo or just straight up EV’s 😢
V2 didn't make the list. I had a 2018 SS and it was nice but everyone has one. Sold and bought my '11 coupe 6M. Much better trans and yeah, supercharged 😎

New 6 gen camaro are mean and clean af in the flesh......they don't take great photos tho......for the right price color and mileage/condition am all in........but I rather have a 5th gen of the elk......ss or zL1
Why did you put the hellcat last on the list?.. it’s in the same price range as everything else and is faster (not 0-60) than most of the other cars on this list. Not trying to be a fan boy or anything or compare the cars just wondering why.
