And is a second hand Maserati so you’ll be spending that same price over the next 5 years fixing issues we all know are coming. I wasn't even on this level, but back in 2012 I bought a gently used 5 year old Cadillac SRX4 AWD Sport. It was super cush, hauled the whole family plus friends around in comfort and luxury... until things started going wrong. Over the next 7 years I owned it, I replaced every wheel's hub assembly (2 twice), almost every bolt on engine from the alternator, to power steering pump, etc. Cadillac parts come at a decent premium more than other GM parts, too. I paid just under $20K for a car that cost nearly 3 times than that just 5 years previously, but easily sunk another $10K into repairs during the time I owned it. Did I just get a lemon? Probably, but I'm pretty gun-shy on buying any more used Caddies.

Heh the Maserati GT is my friend's favourite car. There was a really cheap one for 55k last year, I'm from a place where cars are really expensive, 55k is basically cheaper than any new car. But it's better she didn't get it, 55k for that probably means it has real big problems.

Frankly, a naturally aspirated Ferrari built V8 with 433-444 bhp are not being built anymore, I don't see how these Pininfarina designed beauties are going to stay cheap for long. 0-60 times between 4.5-4.9 sec and top speeds 180-183 mph just seem like a steal to me. I don't plan on selling them. The exhaust note is just so amazing too.
I had a Lamborghini Countch 5000QV 48 valve V12 so I know what they cost to keep running@LondonRoyalty
3 Maseratis, a TR6, 2 Porsches, A landrover with mods, an E320, and a modded Abarth500
@LondonRoyalty
Loved my Gran Turismo I would totally have another.
12C is a nice car, congrats, I just drove the Artura and was impressed, not in my budget currently@LondonRoyalty
Just buy an old miata for 5k.
7 financial killers. If you make videos like 'how to look rich' don't forget to mention that all this cars are a pain to own
What kind of car on thumbnail cover ?
I commented separately what the car is
I want the car in the pic
I’m assuming that was just a cad draw. Can someone tell me what that is?
Looks like the new glickenhaus car, they upgraded their previous le man's racecar design because it flew..
@@pihermoso11 bro in what universe does that look like the Glickenhaus? How high were you when you commented that
@@318ci similar to glickenhaus scg 007
Yea.. Maseratis are cheap for a reason. Yes, you can buy one for under 40k, but you'll spend more than that a year just to keep it running (at least sometimes running)
mine ahs cost me only petrol some oil and a set of tyres in the last 4 years so you are talking rubbish
buy a 10-year corolla. Invest the money you save. Become rich
The Maserati grand Tourismo, really stood out to me, it's at reasonable price to, slightly under 30k is pretty tight. 😁😁
And is a second hand Maserati so you’ll be spending that same price over the next 5 years fixing issues we all know are coming. Depreciated cars aren’t cheaper to fix and old Ferrari’s, Maserati’s etc are known to be particularly awfully expensive.
The play is pick something that shares parts with other cars in their range e.g. f type jag, Audi R8 etc sure they’re gunna need servicing as often as other options but when a part isn’t exclusive to that model that price comes waaaaaay down.
@@user-ns3vs3bp3e not really. That’s a big assumption. Talk to owners and you’ll hear a more average story. I have a DB9 and a rang rover, both the worst reputations for reliability. Very few issues, all under warranty. And great customer service.
@@enginepy Had that "e" fallen off of the Range Rover before you bought it, or after? 😀
@@drwalker9093 lol oops. But sadly that is the part I did damage (garage door)
@@enginepy Sorry, I hope I didn't irritate a sore memory for you....
Don't even think about the Maserati, there's a reason they are so cheap, because they cost a fortune to keep running, an absolute money pit of a car.
i have a maserati gt bought 3 years old at £50k and still worth £50k to £55k i got the one with the 4.7 litre engine still only 23k miles on it despite it being now 8 years old WOnderful car. never had anything go wrong. most expensive work done to it has been when new tyres were needs and scuffing the alloys which then had to be repaired £50 each wheel still looks amazing, gets complimented every day pretty much and still makes a the school kids shout wow as i toodle past them Amazing car
You didnt mention the Jaguar F-Type. Good price used, fairly rare, fun and fast.
I mean he touched on it with the XKR. I’m more a fan of tuner cars but I’ve always kinda liked the XKR and F-Type as well
Imo, the Jaguar XK and XKR models are by far the best on this list. The n.a. 5.0L XK will get you to 385 bhp; while the XKR gets you to the mentioned 500 bhp. Imo, better than the also lovely Jag F type as the XKs are true GT cars....fast, very sporty...AND comfortable to drive over a distance. Comparing to the Aston DB7 and DB9...if you wanted a more hard driving sports car, AND didn't mind the huge cost premium, then you got the Aston. BUT, if you wanted to drive from Southampton to the south of France in style and comfort...then you would want the Jag.
You cannot go wrong with the Vette…..reliable, excellent gas mileage when cruising, awesome look, and true high performance sports car.
cool joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmao 😂
Absolutely, I have a 2016 C7 and have had ZERO maintainence issues in 8 years! Still looks great and get compliments on it all the time
K-swap or 2AR-FE swap the MR-2 Spyder and the car becomes a vastly more interesting ride.
People are so materialistic you have to put yourself in debt to buy a luxury poc car for them to respect you smh.
Still driving the Porsche cabriolet I bought in 95. It was a 90 model. Get a good mechanic and parts source and you too can enjoy driving wonderful analog cars. They are a joy to drive and I won’t ever sell it. I have a boring everyday driver. But weekends are for the toy.
Please don’t buy these cars if you can’t afford to maintain, please. No broken down Maseratis in the hood please, please.
Nothing says you bought a used car that you can't really afford just to have the badge like seeing a Pep Boys service center filled with Lexus, Mercedes, and BMW LOL
Please don’t buy the jag. Insane maintenance cost.
According to who? The XK-R, especially the 4.2, is considered quite reliable. Any car can have issues, but the XK's are known to be pretty reliable in general.
The earlier Porsche Panameras look great and can sometimes be found for 20-25k dollars.
2013-2015 DB9 is a great car. I get more compliments and attention in it than I did in my 599 or my GT3 when I had them. It’s cheap and I haven’t not had one single issue in 4 years or ownership. Sexy and luxurious. And no one hates on it (which is really the best part). You can get one for in the $75-$100 range now.
God damn reading this made me jealous. I wish I could afford a 599,gt3 or s db9 . You have a excellent taste in cars my man 😊
@@tommern84 thank you. Yeah I’m a big car guy and I always think there are awesome cars at almost every price point. The 599 was just amazing. Not flashy and just so refined. It was a beast. Definitely a whole other level than the Porsche or the DB9. And I do love my current DB9 but it’s not quite as special, but for the money it is amazing.
@@enginepy I can imagine the 599 are brutal and the gt3 is a bit more "planted" driving experience?
I only drive a shitty , old 2007 Toyota Hilux pickup 🤣 not very much to brag about.
But my best friend have a MTM Audi RS6 that breaks 810 HP on the wheels. JESUS Christ that is abusive to launch. Holy cow!
I have been in fast cars before, but the difference between 0-60 in 4½-5 sec in a fast car and 0-60 in 2,2/2,3 sec in a Audi RS6 is quite ...... Let's say shocking and unexpected 🤣
@@enginepymay I ask what you do for a living?
@@tommern84 I never saw this reply to respond. The 599 was pretty aggressive for a grand tourer. Not overly comfortable or smooth which was the case for all Ferraris then. But it was just a blast to sit in. The GT3 was also not smooth and was a little loud but that was expected for a GT car. I would track it and it was rock solid, like all Porsches. You can abuse them and they never break or have any issues at all. Just perfection.
I think the hilux is one of the best vehicles on the planet. We don’t habe them here in the US but they have a following. I drive them a lot in Afghanistan. My personal truck was a euro spec Landcruiser (manual, diesel, cloth seats, no fancy stuff) and it was my baby. Best vehicle I’ve ever had. Wish we could get that style here.
That RS6 sounds like a monster. Yeah the high power cars are just a unique experience. My truck (ram TRX) is a monster too but not quite that quick, but a really great truck for the highway since I can pass big trucks very quickly. Safety first!
Cheap = 70,000 ??
Perhaps in comparison to some, but honestly, the only CHEAP car on this list is the MR2. You can find a low mileage MR2 under 15k.
Or. Step up to a Lexus IS-F under 25k.
The rest....maintenance nightmares...or insurance nightmares. ... or both. 😊
Stingray is the way to go bro, it’s by far the coolest looking cheap exotic that’s up there with lambos and rarri’s like the video author said. Corvette is a massive W 💯
Fast car and great for an American car but it does look like an 2095 F430 with a camaro ZL1 inspired body kit. Not exactly original or classy. And the wheel selection looks like something from a Buick. I was ready to order one but quickly changed my mind.
The c7 Corvette is the best value for the money
I'm happy with my 99 Chevy cavalier. It has a few problems, but I love it non the less for 1,000 dollars for my dream car it's hard to find a single complaint
I had one. Amazing cars
i dont want to look rich and get rob lol
Car that will keep you away from wealth from all the money you will spend on them lmao
Just get a mustang. Everybody looks everybody takes pictures
They're "CHEAP" for a REASON!! (If you're NOT a Mechanic, DON'T waste your TIME!!
I'd just go GR86, you look cool, sound cool, and pay the price of a standard car.
the 2nd gen GR86 and the BRZ should definitely be on this list - only 30k msrp new, they're basically the poor man's porsche
i dont wanna look rich....i wanna be rich
Keep this in mind fam, The GOAL is to be Rich not to look Rich.
I'd rather keepmy 15'S8that to most apparently looks like the average 4door, even with aftermarket 22' vossen style wheels. Only had 3 people try to get the gap sauce in the year+ ive owned it. 🤷♂️
What is gap sauce
It's highly debatable what you mean by "cheap" or "budget" car... I would say that these are cars whose price range does not exceed $10,000.
Hmm, small prices, big maintenance bills :)
Shit, I got a c5 z06 with 2k miles on an LS3 cammed with forged internals and upgraded matching transmission. For 18k and it looks and smells new. Baby boomers kept vettes immaculate. Vette is the best bang for the buck out there. Screw the c7. My dad got a c6GS black 6 speed for 32k. And LS3 ain't gunna blow up, 5 years of beating on my Z and it hasnt had 1 issue.
As someone who had 2 LS3 C6s, I concur. Such a great deal for a cheap to maintain beast.
Whenever I see a Mazi I think cheap. I've seen plenty of them at auctions for cheap. Like 60% off the price off the lot.
you ahve no idea about class them price does not equate to class
Most of these replicas looks super cheap and sloppy: Wavy surfaces, wide panel gaps and disharmonious proportions. If youre going to park your car next to a real high end sports car at one of these meets bring something original that embodies some work ethic rather than a low price.
That thumbnail car looks sweet what is it?
Guerriera H6
It's just a 3D render though
None of these cars make you look rich just stupid. When repair bill comes or people laughing at kit cars . C7 nice but you don’t look rich .
The Maserati also comes with a mechanic because you're gonna need it, when he said fun he mean, its gonna be fun looking at it on the lift at the garage.
garbage have you ever owned one? bet not
I loved driving my Maserati, but it ended up on a flatbed twice the first year I owned it with only 38k miles. It was a disaster. Was well maintained, but these cars just break. The whole fuel rail issue is insane. I will never touch that brand again
Bruh as soon the list starts with Jaguar i knew this list is just a bunch of money pits which means the service and repair bills of these things would costs an absolute fortune.
You my friend, deserves more than to look rich with these cars but struggling financially to fix and restore them.
While a Jag and Maserati are cheap to buy, they are still expensive to maintain as well as a Porsche Boxter. People need to take this into account as they all get butchered from people that buy them but can't afford them. Also, don't put a body kit on an MR2 and add Ferrari or Porsche badges
garbage i ahve the maserati the cost is the petrol as very thirsty
@@dpg957 I had one also and the repairs will catch up to you. I will check in with you in a year and see how its going.
I drive a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T and it doesnt cost an arm or leg or other body parts to maintain either..🤣
Awesome content always 💪🏼
Heh the Maserati GT is my friend's favourite car. There was a really cheap one for 55k last year, I'm from a place where cars are really expensive, 55k is basically cheaper than any new car.
But it's better she didn't get it, 55k for that probably means it has real big problems.
Depends on its maintenance, but she may have had a real nice, sporty DD that is cheaper to maintain than you’d think
@@CtRacerX of the COE was almost up I would've easily have recommended it to her since it's normal for even supercars with less than a year left to be under 100k.
However, that thing had 5 years, must've had something really wrong.
Like my neighbor's GT made a horrible screeching noise all the time.
Actually thinking about it, I wonder if they even had enough space for another car lol.
mine was £50 and never ahd a problem never been in the garage
Tbh just buy any JDM legend and have people awe in jealousy. Why waste time and money buying a car no one wants or care about?
Again with the CLICK BAIT pic 🙄

Get an RCZ..
… nah, looks ugly tbh
@@Rijsttafel You git, I just bought one.
I want expensive car but it's look cheap😂😂😂..sorry my english so bad😂😂
I often thought about getting something like these cars when I was younger, but could never justify the cost to maintain. My recommendation, for what it’s worth, wait and get a solid car that’s fun and that you can afford. I did. Now I have an F8, MC20, Z06, and a ‘57 e-code T-bird. They’re all a ton of fun, and the cost to maintain never keeps me up at night.
What you do for work bruv ?
Mustang should be in that list too..
I think you forgot the part where "you stand out". Mustangs dont stand out unless you clap it out with ugly mods.
@@the_rush_to_nothing in Germany you dont see that often a Mustang.
@@xthekurdox813 very true. In Europe, some of the more common muscle and sports cars here in the US are pretty rare there. I was driving on a Tollway in France a few years ago and saw a car coming up fast in the left lane. I'm not a Mustang fan, but when I saw it was a Mustang GT that blew past me, I couldn't help but yell YES!! Because it was so rare to see an American muscle car there LOL
Why would you want to look rich?
Quickshift Cars is the most underrated RUclips channel.
You are delusional
