Mandalorian did everything we wanted. We got Bo katan, Asoka Tano, Boba Fett, and THE ONE JEDI WE WANTED TO SEE AND DONE RIGHT. The perfect end to the Mandolarian series.
@@shamusobi2748 how is Din's story over? He has the darksaber which Bo Katan is not happy about (and sounds like he isn't too happy about being the ruler of a Mandalore either) and they are going to try and reclaim Mandalore. Boba's story was technically over after RotJ but they brought him back and have found new stories for him, there is still plenty of opportunity for stories for Din. If the Mandalorian series 3 IS a focus on Boba and they get rid of Din and co, I admit I'm gonna be pissed - Boba is cool and I'd love to see him in his own show, but not if it means at the expense of Din Djarin. He's the character I've become emotionally invested in. For me, Boba is just another badass
Actually I think this episode made the sequels retroactively even worse. Because Im pretty sure this means Kylo Ren murdered baby Yoda. (although this is set in 9 ABY and that happens in 28 ABY So I mean...I guess he has 19 years to get training and get out of there before Kylo has his murder tantrum?)
@@bloodyneptune Grogu survived order 66, I know he got out before Kylo went on his rampage. I think he went back to Din or Luke sent him on a mission or somewhere well before Kylos rage. Plus, Disney is not going to kill off their cash cow AKA Baby Yoda
Disney has planned this for years. They don't need to take notes. The sequels aren't going away, just like the prequels didn't go away despite the more extreme side of the fanbase complaining about them.
@Bryan mark The original trilogy had a lot of "winging" it as well. For example, Darth Vader was not meant to be Luke's father originally nor Leia his sister. That's why there were those awkward moments in the films where Obi-Wan tried to explain why he didn't tell Luke that Vader was his father and the strange love triangle between Han, Luke and Leia.
@Bryan mark "With the sequels, he developed an entirely different story to lead into the original trilogy with a coherence and solidifying storyline." Yeah well if Lucas had that planned then he should of made the damn films after he made the prequels, but he didn't. That's on Lucas. He sold the franchise to Disney and the only thing he stipulated besides the $4 billion in the deal was that Disney not alter on change anything in the OT, prequels and Clone Wars. Everything else from the EU to whatever the sequels would be were Disney's authority. Him having an alternative narrative for potential sequels is irrelevant. "The sequel trilogy was a mess bringing nothing new to the table as it delivered a scene for scene soft reboot, followed by a sloppy soft reboot of ESB with a woke agenda throat cramming and ending in a boring uninspired trash heap of irredeemable sjw pandering." There hadn't been a Star Wars films in over 10 years by that point and the demographics and marketing for movies has changed considerably. The OT was the Gen-X Star Wars, the prequels were for the Millennial generation and the sequels are catered to the Gen Z crowd. Whether you like it or not the Sequels made billions at the box office despite you miserable fanboys bitching and whining and calling for boycotts that amounted to nothing. The sequels were successful in part because they were forward thinking, with refreshing new characters that embraced diversity and actively looked beyond the narrow core of established fandom. It's called planning for the future because fans like you are aging and the franchise needs new viewers to keep it going for decades to come. "Rey was a Mary Sue, Finn was a token black guy, Poe was a toxic white male, Chewy was just...... Not chewy. C3PO was wasted for no real reason, and the OT heroes were just afterthoughts. As for Kylo...... I'm not even going to go there." Oh my god! Cry me a river. You sad, reality-deprived rage babies really need to find some other focus in life. The amount of energy you waste on this subject shows that you don't really have much of a life. Read some books or get a BJ or something? You're wound a little too tight.
"The Mandalorian" season 3 has already been greenlit. "The Book of Boba Fett" is just another spin-off. Like "Ahsoka" and "Rangers of the New Republic."
Yeah, and they just didn't announce the Boba Fett show with all the others because they wanted all us fans to LOSE OUR MINDS when we saw this end credits scene 😁
Many assume s3 is about Boba Fett. I mean all episodes are chapters, and the next ones gonna be The Book of Boba Fett .... we'll see. I hope these two are separate shows
@@PaimasCPGaming I've seen just as many assume its a spin-off - a lot of the media articles, reviews etc seem to think so. I'm with you - I hope it's two separate shows. I want to see what's going to happen with Boba AND continue with Din's story and see how he (and the show) adjusts with no Grogu in his life
I have a crazy lil' theory, now just hear me out. Every episode has been placed into chapters, the book of boba drops the same month as Mandalorian season 3, they announced season 3 release date before episode 8 even came out, they announced a Boba Fett spinoff show a couple weeks ago, the show is called "The Mandalorian"... Dude I think they're making it into a Mandalorian show with different Mandalorian character. like a Boba Fett chapter, a Bo-Katan chapter, etc.

“Hey man, I like Star Wars again!” YES! All of the feels (relief, excitement, vindication) Star Wars is back! New peach here 👋🏼 and I’ve been waiting all day for your reactions. What an ending to an already incredible season.
Hi guys, I saw you Luke reveal reaction on another “best of reactions” compilation and had to find your original video to watch your full video. you’ve got another fan here, 👍😁
I respect Filoni for letting us keep at least a little bit of dignity left, lol. Edit: Also, I think Din is meant to keep the ball as his talisman and reminder. I believe Grogu still has his pendant as well.
Three years later I still come back to this video to recapture that feeling of seeing Luke Skywalker save the day. I actually had the presence of mind to think "This season finale is going to be insane" and decided to record me and my wife watching this episode, I'm glad I can revisit the feelings I had that day.
I watch this every once in awhile. I had the EXACT same reaction as Jay the first time seeing this. Glad you got to share this together. Everything you say about Star Wars being rejuvenated once this episode hit. It was complete. I wept seeing the episode, because the reasons you all said.
Did anyone else notice the shot of Luke from his back with the green saber was the same shot they used when they first showed Ahsoka? I thought that was a nice touch. Return of the Jedi :)
And the Reylo fans have said nothing about all this, that's what amazes me. I thought they would get all on their manbabies high horses again because we like this so much, but they haven't. Could it be they see this and realize what they missed?
Not inly has this show made me fall back in love with Star Wars, but it's shown me that I'm not alone in how much this universe means to me. Watching the various reaction videos and how excited, passionate and emotional this show has made people. I feel vindicated.

Flipping outstanding!!! What a Christmas treat! I saw the lone X-Wing and my eyes welled up. The cloaked figure in black, I was tearing up, but still not committing in case of a really mean bait and switch. The green lightsaber, tears were rolling. The belt buckle, the black (and all time best) Jedi outfit, and the one gloved hand . . . my heart soared and the water works were on full. The face reveal . . . eh . . . whatever, I don’t care, (just as you both said) it’s fine, it’s fine, just thank you for blowing my mind!!! AWESOME!!! Jay and Adam, “The Mandalorian” this this season was amazing, but rewatching it with you two every week really amped up the entire experience to 11! Thank you. We got to all fall in love again with Star Wars together!!!

Jay and Adam is all of us and our love for being star wars fans coming back just by watching this great show. Thank you guys for showing us, what we all looked like.... haha
“hey man I like Star Wars again”. Imagine if Favreau and Filoni had been given the entire run of 6 movies instead of what we got for Episodes 1-3 and 6-9.
Someone in the writers room: "Hey guys... this episode is pretty tight. But what if after the credits, Boba Fett just arrives at Jabba's Palace, which is now being ruled by an obese Bib Fortuna, and Boba just murders everyone and sits on the throne like he owns the place? I have no idea why it would happen but it would be so awesome, nobody would care. We'll figure out the story details later."
Things is though, in the book Tales from Jabbas Palace Bib Fortuna returns to the castle after Jabbas death and is met by the castle monks. He is taken away where his brain is put into a spider walker droid.

I came for the man ugly crying. Wasnt disappointed :')
Thank you? 😁
You guys have an awesome sense of humour 🤣
This single episode was better than the entire new trilogy.
100 fucking percent
@@bloodyneptune hoping they just remove the sequels from canon. When I show my kids Star Wars, this show will be included and the sequels won’t.
@@bloodyneptune Grogu survived order 66, I know he got out before Kylo went on his rampage. I think he went back to Din or Luke sent him on a mission or somewhere well before Kylos rage. Plus, Disney is not going to kill off their cash cow AKA Baby Yoda
@@bloodyneptune There is now no such person as Kylo Ren, or any of those other fake characters.
I hope Disney took notes.
The sequels: That wasn't the way.
The Mandolorian: This is the way.
Disney has planned this for years. They don't need to take notes. The sequels aren't going away, just like the prequels didn't go away despite the more extreme side of the fanbase complaining about them.
@@BlueHooloovoo It wasn't an argument for a retcon. Just an observation on how storytelling should be done for a beloved franchise.
@@BlueHooloovoo Disney had nothing to do with it, this was all Favreu and Filoni.
@Bryan mark "With the sequels, he developed an entirely different story to lead into the original trilogy with a coherence and solidifying storyline."
Yeah well if Lucas had that planned then he should of made the damn films after he made the prequels, but he didn't.
"The sequel trilogy was a mess bringing nothing new to the table as it delivered a scene for scene soft reboot, followed by a sloppy soft reboot of ESB with a woke agenda throat cramming and ending in a boring uninspired trash heap of irredeemable sjw pandering."
There hadn't been a Star Wars films in over 10 years by that point and the demographics and marketing for movies has changed considerably.
I'm not even going to go there."
Oh my god! Cry me a river. You sad, reality-deprived rage babies really need to find some other focus in life. The amount of energy you waste on this subject shows that you don't really have much of a life. Read some books or get a BJ or something? You're wound a little too tight.
"Are you ok?"
Actually, I'm the best I've been in 30 years...
"The Mandalorian" season 3 has already been greenlit. "The Book of Boba Fett" is just another spin-off. Like "Ahsoka" and "Rangers of the New Republic."
Yeah, and they just didn't announce the Boba Fett show with all the others because they wanted all us fans to LOSE OUR MINDS when we saw this end credits scene 😁
its more than greenlit its under production right now.
Another great thing about this season of Mandalorian was discovering you two guys. I felt everyone of your nerd tears in my heart.
Heck yeah! Wandavision soon! We ain’t going nowhere. 🍑

This Ep should be called " How to throw 3 movies in the trash in 48 minutes "
So true 😂
Na, those 3 movies threw themselves in the trash all on their own. This Ep just showed that it didn't have to be that way.
What this show has done what the Disney movies couldn't pull off:
- Show what it means to be a former, traumatized stormtrooper
- Show the perspective of the empire
- Show Luke in his prime being a badass
- Show the Force as a mysterious power again, that requires training to be controlled
- Show the New Republic in action
and that's all done in 16 episodes
Shows you how incompetent those movie makers are

Yah ;(
Nah, we'll cry even harder when next season we see Mando taking that ball out of his pocket to remember Grogu :'(
I respect Filoni for letting us keep at least a little bit of dignity left, lol. Edit: Also, I think Din is meant to keep the ball as his talisman and reminder. I believe Grogu still has his pendant as well.
OMG the BALL!!!!!
Gotta have a reason for Mando to show up to Grogus knight in ceremony

If that Boba Fett song that Jay started singing isn't the new show's official theme, then I am going to be very upset.
"Hey man, I like Star Wars again!"

And the Reylo fans have said nothing about all this, that's what amazes me. I thought they would get all on their manbabies high horses again because we like this so much, but they haven't. Could it be they see this and realize what they missed?
So when can we expect your hit single Boba Fett and His Best Friend to hit spotify? Because my husband is already walking around singing it.
