Favorite comment.. ‘I fell in love with a muppet ‘.... we all have 😩
Indeed.... we fell in love with a muppet as well as others. And now the long wait for season three. My the force be with you.
we support you!
Original Yoda was a muppet. Grogu is an animatronic.
@@kamehabarnette8130 We all lost our Hearts over that little Muppet. I cried too. And so did a lot of other grown ass men and women. LOL
I've even bought my own version of the Muppet for £60. He's stood next to the Christmas tree in a santa hat.
The best part of every reaction video is the look in people’s eyes when the realize it’s Luke.
Absolutely.
Me, I love to see the reactions when Baby Grogu has to say goodbye. Because I cried my eyes out, I expect nothing less than that reaction
So true, it's like a dream in our youth.
For sure. You know these reactions are way more hype than any that happened during the sequel trilogy too. Scenes like this was what fans came to see.
Not just realizing it but also not letting themselves believe it
Can’t believe they de-aged R2D2 he looks so good.
This comment is a hidden gem.
What I find interesting is the exact moment when people figure it out for me it was the hand
@@nickbarone6206 I literally was speechless from the moment I saw the lone x-wing flying in to the end credits scene! I kinda wish I didn’t know it was luke so I was even more surprised
Underrated comment
Best.

Ever.
I have been watching all the reactions I can find for the last 24 hours. There is one thing they all have in common. The viewers are moved to deep emotion, even tears, as they realize what they are seeing. I think that the fans, especially the older ones like me who grew up with the original trilogy, had a deep connection to the character of Luke Skywalker. They saw that character as a role model in their childhood. Luke was an example of the kind of person they wanted to become. Now we are adults and we want to see ourselves as the sort of people who have grown, mastered ourselves, and now seek to pass on what we have learned to the next generation. Thank you to the creators of this great scene, and to the reactors who let us experience it all over again.
Personally i especially enjoyed the reactions of the fans that are "less nerdy" as in, the type of fan that did not immediately recognize or had analyzed the story/movies/canon beforehead. Like for example the ones recognizing that this must be Luke because only one person is flying 1 X-wing because they usualyl fly in squadrons, and only one person with a gloved hand and that type of clothing and a green saber. and so on.
The reactions always seemed to be so much more surprised. I loved it.
This was the Luke the fans wanted to see. This was a version of him that Mark Hamill honestly deserved to showcase in the sequel trilogy. It’s too bad that got robbed from him, but it is good to know that there are still important play-makers and shot-callers behind the scenes that know how to tell a SW story.
U speak truth my brother
@@ImPerpl3xd stop speaking for all the fans, I'm a fan and enjoyed sw 7, 8 and 9. I get so annoyed when so called uberfans start talking for me, and get it ALL WRONG!
@@saskiapanter okay, “fan”. I’ll just let the overwhelming response to this speak for itself, versus the huge backlash the sequel trilogy got.
We finally got to see Jedi Master Luke wreck shit up
"Talent without training is nothing".....you hear that Rey? You hear that?!!!
So true bro...
Rey who?
I know what you are saying bro..... But Luke didn't have much training when he went first ON the Deathstar, escaped from it and then later went back and blew it up.... It's not until ESB and RoTJ that he has had some proper training.... Although in ESB, Master Yoda tells him he need to finish his training BEFORE helping his friends.... So even then, his training is not complete...
@@mikejurisic Rey Skywalker they said.. 💩
Rey trained with Leia
Its like seen a very old friend after a terrible year. Feels like hope, like a New Hope
Feels like A New Hope .
You guys cried. I cried. Everyone cried!
This is the way.
Yep
Me too! A lot!
It's amazing how they captured Moffs fear, he's weilding the Dark Saber, he's making droids, kidnapping, it's all small game if you compare it going against a Jedi Master, he knows he lost as soon as he saw the dark cape, he knew who it was most likely Luke.
Yes in just moments Moff Gideon went from smug confidence to horrified terror when he realized who it was. Brilliant acting from Giancarlo!
Great acting and directing. The transition from smugness to pure terror was perfectly done. Gideon almost certainly knows about Luke Skywalker. He probably knows that Luke defeated Sidious and Vader, though he would think Luke simply killed them in battle. The brief scene where Cara and the imperial officer taunt each other about Alderaan and the Death Stars is relevant here. As a true believing imperial, Gideon would not see Luke as we see him. He would see Jedi as unstoppable killers bent on overthrowing the government and taking power for themselves.
Well, Moff was an ISB officer. He knows everything, as he said. Once they said "A Jedi", he KNEW who the f*** it was. *THE* one that destroyed the original Death Star, defeated Vader, and was the only one that came out alive from facing the Emperor. Also, seeing the guy easily tear through an ENTIRE platoon (about 50 or so) Dark Troopers, after confidently stating how bad-ass they were, had to cause him to crap his pants.
darksaber*
I'm a 43 dude who shed tears and lost my freaking mind. On the bright side I was 6 years old again. I looked like an idiot on my reaction video but I didn't care.
The silent, hand-to-mouth, "no way, it couldn't be" hesitation and excitement at the sight of that hooded figure striding down the corridor was my exact reaction in that moment, too.
Luke brings everyone together. The Love for the Character
Must have seen a dozen of reaction videos, but its still good to see this enthusiasm for star wars. I liked the Dexter mug too.
Wonder if investors know yet, that shitting on Luke was the equivalent of someone buying Disney and turning mickey mouse into a damn drug abusing wino. How KK and Rian Johnson find work will always be a mystery.
Wait just a second there pal... are you claiming that it was NOT a good business decision to take everything the fans held dear, throw it all in a dumpster, and set it on fire?
I think this series and this episode are pretty good evidence that they know. Disney won't just come out and say "we did it wrong." That just isn't good business and it would only cause more problems for them. But things have changed and you can see the difference in every episode of The Mandalorian. They even went so far as have Luke Skywalker say "talent without training is nothing." It was as clear a message as you can send to the fans who questioned the writing choices in Episodes 7-9. Forget what they say. Watch what they do. And if they are getting it right, let the past disappointments go.
Don't be sitting there giving JJ Abrams a pass.
He was part of that shit-fest too.
That third TURD movie didn't make itself.
And no, he wasn't boxed into a corner into making a crap movie by The Last Jedi.
He did the same thing to Star Trek, by the way.
@@Cbricklyne - At least in Star Trek, JJ did his movies as an homage, and set them in an alternate timeline so as not to screw with canon.
And I do think if they hadn't brought in Rian, that the trilogy would have been much less damaging to the Star Wars galaxy.
Not saying JJ was an "ideal" choice either, but compared to Rian's dumpster fire, JJ's stuff was at least partially watchable.
But in the first minutes, as ep.8 began, Luke casually tossed that lightsaber over his shoulder. It was then that the blood rushed to my head, and all I could hear was a loud flushing noise... as 40 years of character arc swirled away into a dank sewer.
@@Mr.Ekshin
No.
It was ALL crap.
You're just trying to give JJ an out.
The Star Trek franchise is for all intents and purposes dead because of his stupid Kelvin Timeline crap.
They can't even make a 4th movie now because there's no ways left for them to write themselves out of that nonsense.
He came into Star Wars and did pretty much the same thing.
Simple question :
Is The Rise of Skywalker a good Star Wars movie?
Yes or No?
Rian had nothing to do with that shitfest.
That was all Abrams.
I'd even argue that Force Awakens is likewise shit, that's nothing but empty crap that's derivative of much better and far superior Star Wars movies and that simply blinded and fooled a lot of lazy thinking people into believing it was a good movie thanks to nostalgia and an orgy of lazy fanservice.
Strip it all away and you get the usual standard Abrams/Bad Robot shitfest explosion-ey nonsense soul-less movie.
".... but talent without training is nothing."
Word, Mr Hamill. Welcome home. :-)
I could be wrong but Boba Fett sitting on Jaba's throne could potentially mean that HE has now become King of the criminal underworld.
They are diving into the expanded universe headfirst. The rise of the Fett Syndicate is upon us. The civil war for Mandalore is coming. And our boy Mando with the Dark Saber is right in the firing line of every Mandalorian warlord claiming the throne.
@@blaster915 Boba now is in control of the Outer rim, which means he may be strong enough to take mandalorian for himself, if he wishes
This is it. He won't be an enemy of Mando.
@@spx10 probably just control of Hutt/Fortuna's crime syndicate on Tatooine. Which isn't strong enough to retake Mandalore. But that doesn't matter without the Darksaber, Mandalores wouldn't follow him. I don't think controlling Mandalore is something Boba Fett even remotely cares about though.
Boba the Hutt
I think the reason Bo didn't tell Mando because she didn't think it was necessary. She expected that Gideon would be on the bridge while Mando went in to save Grogu. So she thought that she would be confronting Gideon herself and get him to yield the saber to her. EDIT: Also, Giancarlo Esposito's performance really made this episode work. The way he went from pure, smarmy evil thinking he had control to shocked, desperate, defeated when Luke showed up was top notch acting. The payoff isn't nearly as satisfying if Esposito doesn't deliver in the acting department.
Agreed. Exceptional acting by Giancarlo
Yoda taught Luke. Now the student is the teacher. They've come full circle. Hope we see them in a new movie.
Guys, I cried again! This time with you! Two months later I'm still emotional.
I lost it when R2D2 started his usual swearing.
LOL Whenever R2 starts up, in my head I'm always imagining him talking some mad shxt
well he did get hit by a stick by Yoda so Grogu brought back bad memories
A2DD2
He rolled up on Luke like "You left me in the back, AGAIN! Had to walk thru the mess u made, AGAIN! And lastlyyy... oh.. hi ppl"
It really legitimizes the scene. Luke and R2 are always together.
"I fell in love with a Muppet" LMAO
We all did😃
I've probably watched this scene a hundred time along with all the emotional reactions.
Your reaction got me all emotional all over again.
"Talent without training is nothing."
Did you hear that, Rey?!
talent without training is nothing.. rey
Exactly 😄
*Leia enters the chat*
Nail it
Yeah, I mean it's not possible to destroy the death star without training, learn to deflect blaster bolts, and use telekinesis, not to mention wound darth vader oh sorry that was all luke wasn't it? Funnily enough nobody ever complains about the fact he was a force prodigy, but get fucked off when rey was presented much the same. Funny that.
Maria Susana Reyes Palpatine for her friends🙄👍👍👍
Much love, you two. It's lovely to see you react as emotionally as I did during Luke's appearance. May the Force be with you, always.
i wish i could watch this episode for the first time again
“I fell in love with a muppet”. Brilliant reaction. Like you, I cried at the separation of of Grogu from Din Djarin, especially when his tears fell, and I am a 62 year old man. Thank you for letting me share these emotions.
It made me cry too it’s like for a brief moment movies episodes 7,8,9 didn’t exist at all.🤩😭🤩😭🤩
well said !
slakr2386 Well really, they don't exist anymore. They are null and void because Luke did not train anyone as a Jedi as he is supposed to.
Love watching these reactions! Been a SW all my life; thank you Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni for the early Christmas present, you made me love Star Wars again!
What a joy to see your reactions. Thank you to share it.
8:49 "That's who you belong with. He's one of your kind: A CGI character."
I have watched so many of these videos of reactions. There are so many all wrapped into one. There is intense, then anxious, then excitement and tears then the one I like the most is satisfying that Luke had his moment that he so deserved. Love love love this show!!
Finally, Luke at his prime! We deserved to see this!
I'm not crying....someone just shoved a whole onion in my eye! Your reaction was fantastic, and believe me I was yelling out, and crying, and laughing, and cheering right along with you! What will the next season bring? I can't wait to see!!! And the Book of Boba Fett!!! How cool with THAT be??? The future is bright! This is the way!
This was ALL of us. In tears. Love this show ❤ Grogu, Mando, and Luke ❤❤
Luke - last and best disciple's Yoda. Hello from Russia!
I really enjoyed watching that reaction video- thank you for sharing.
I've watched a lot of reactions. This is Hands Down the best one! All the feels right here!
I'm crying like a child again....
Boba is taking over Jabba the Hutt's criminal empire.
The only thing more adorable than seeing this episode....is watching your beautiful faces react
"Strong this jedi is !" I love it ^^
That RUclips algorithm is something else isn't it? 😂How am I just now being suggested to watch your channel. 🤷♂️Love the reaction. #SUBSCRIBED
Guys ! I absolutely love both your reactions. AWESOME !
Bernie, you guys had the third best reaction I have seen on RUclips!!! The main reason why it's not #1 is because I've seen 2 grown-ass men bawl over the reveal of this episode!!! 😭 That was something else!!! Some people waited 35+ years to see this!!! What an episode!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
7:24 "Strong, this Jedi is"
The Force is with this one ^
I’m a 36 year old man who has loved Star Wars since I was a kid - I’m not ashamed to say I literally started welling up with tears when just the thought of Luke Skywalker coming in to save the day the way he did was about to happen - for me the way they shot this and executed this was one of the greatest moments in on screen HISTORY - Star Wars was suddenly MIND BLOWING AGAIN - thank you so much to the creators of The Mandalorian - this was nothing short of AMAZING X
OMG I love Star Wars fans. Great Reaction! I love re-watching this with you guys. Thank you for uploading your experience.
The amazing thing about this is that Luke was trained primarily by Yoda, and now Luke trains another of Yoda's kind. It's perfect
You were all of us. What a great moment I never expected to have again.
Loved your reactions! Thank you for sharing them.
That music swell when Luke picks up Grogu gets me every time.
I liked how she mentioned jaba then saw dat boba ending lol great reaction vid
This is my fav reaction video. Cant stop watching them.
A lone x-wing.
A green lightsabre.
A gloved right hand.
Strong with the Force.
This moment made the world cry with joy.
Your reaction to Moff trying to shoot Grogu matched ours (surprised how many reaction videos don't show people more upset at Moff for that).
I loved listening to you guys! Such a great and natural reaction.
Even with fake face they achieved something THAT emotional!
Oh yes. We're doin' it.
" Am I Jedi like my father before me."
Idk if anyone has answered, but at the end Boba killed the guy and sat on the throne chair meaning he is taking over Jabba's palace. Meaning Boba is taking over the criminal underworld. "The book of Boba" is gonna be Boba's own spin off show.
Been watching a lot of Luke Reactions, and you guys are on par with everyone else. Genuine and perfection! Keep it up!
When Luke takes his cloak down and they play "Luke's Theme". And all the music after that. I have seen so many reaction videos and I STILL cry
I was so happy because of how happy you two got seeing him.
What a great reaction video, thank you this was fantastic 👏
This is the real Luke ,not the guy of episode 7-8-9
Yep this is what we always wanted from Luke, not the old crying milk drinking man we got, it's sad Kathleen Kennedy got to have her name in the credits.
That's jake Skywalker (google what Mark Hamill said about that)
That was Jake Luke's duplganger from an alternate universe.
100%
@@JohnDoe-gs1cb I recall reading a Star Wars book a long time ago where clones of force capable people existed and they all had the same name with some small change to it. In this instance, there would be the original Luke then the clone of Luke would Luuke, etc...for what it's worth...
Love your reactions. What an awesome episode for an incredible series.
Awesome the both of you I had the same reactions, friggen awesome season end, want more, lol
The moment hen Luke's face is revealed, the children within seem to jump out in both your reactions. Lovely video. Thanx.
we all fell in love with the muppet!
The luke everyone needed. Not that defeated old man in hiding.
Dude is about my age, and I could see him going back to being a young boy for a second. Me too
Now we know why Boba spiffed his armor all up, a man's gotta look good for his own series.
I just now seen your reaction. And I see you have the same love of Star Wars I do! May the force be with you!

Hahaha, “ I fell in love with a muppet” . Dońt worry me too😂
“I fell in love with a muppet” lmaooo!!!
"Are you a Jedi?"
"I am."
For some reason it hits me.. because it feels so earned.. ugh. Chef kiss. Perfecto.
This is after return of the Jedi and before force awakens.
Really odd that this needs pointing out. It's still the Imperial Navy, the stormtrooper design is still the old one, Bo Katan is not 75 years old.
I mean how much more clear does one have to get for people to understand that the First Order has not been founded yet and the destruction of the second Death Star was relatively recent event?
