Hi Alex, thanks for your informative video's, after posting here the other day, I have since seen another video of yours that actually features the QNED81 series and under multi-view on your menu it also does not show the Dual PC Monitor mode, so I guess I just bought a model that does not have that option, which is annoying as the LG website seems to indicate it should have it. Can you tell me which LG model in the 50" size definitely does have the "Dual PC Monitor" option under the Multi-View menu please? Many thanks for any assistance.

I'm actually not using the TV as a TV it's being used as a giant PC monitor on a desk mounted arm, so I don't want an OLED due to image burn-in and the lower screen brightness and the higher screen reflectivity. Any suggestions for a TV that has the dual PC mode but is non OLED and is a similar price to the QNED range? Also does not have to be LG, I just like the magic remote. I'm in the UK. Many thanks.
Thanks for the info about limitations. I could dual-pc mode by updating webOS. I personally recommend that you'd us low-latency capture device to show with OBS. it's far flexible and portable, rather than using functions set by screen vendors. Luckily, recent caputure device products has lesser and lesser latecy products.
Is there a way to get full screen multiview. That the screens left and right don’t have black bars on top and bottom? So das would basically be two 8/9 screens and not two 16/9 screens :)

LG OLED C4, December 2024, newest firmware. Missing sound from RUclips when using browser in side by side mode. Any advice? When Web + YT in PiP (YT in small window) I have sound from YT and I can browse the web in full screen. When side by side I have sound from active window only, I can not choose where the sound should come from. So when browsing the web (active window) there is no sound from YT, so watching YT is useless in side by side mode. It is additionally sad because this setting is the default scenario to choose on TV. Side by side is more comfortable for me than PiP, because YT window is much bigger and the browser is nice stretched from the very top to the very bottom (no black bars). Summary: When watching YT with SOUND you can not browse the web, and when browsing the web you can not hear anything from YT. Is this some kind of joke from LG? :(

In PiP sound works OK, however as you can see in the video, a lot of time I also had problem to set the sound 03:48 - Side by Side again - this is the first and last time I had sound in Side by Side mode for a moment, this was the only exception EDIT: EVERYTHING IS OK NOW... I'm dumb, it was so simple. I've have TV for 2 days and I clearly don't know how to operate it yet. Sorry for the confusion. Maybe someone else will find this information useful. First have to click the browser window, then DO NOT click RUclips window, but just hover over RUclips window and click the sound icon on the YT side, then go back to the browser. is there a way to split screen the youtube app and macbook airplay??? i tried to do this but when i try to connect airplay on one side, the split screen goes away and airplay takes the whole screen rather than the other half alongside youtube

Kindof a throw of since I would need to switch several settings of on my PC input to get multiview and manually switch them back on as soon I wanna play full screen. Also can't play and show RUclips on the side...

Unfortunately not possible. But nice thing about ps5 is that you can at least plug a headset directly to the controller and have that audio output to the headset and maybe the other ps5 from the tv
HDMI 1 and 2 are not allowing me to view side by side. I can view hdmi 1 with RUclips, Spotify, or browse the web. But it doesn’t give me any options to view hdmi 1 and 2 ports together

Why is RUclips the only app that can be side by side the other HDMI? What about Netflix, all the other apps. ? RUclips only? That is severely limited and makes this entire multi view pretty useless
OTT services are generally restricted in Multiview from all brands. Think it has to do with Netflix, Disney+ and everyone else, it’s not an LG Decision

Dual Pc is only available with a9 processor powered TVs . I suggest a 48” C3 or if you in the Middle East Africa a 55” CS3

Combination live tv + hdmi is available. In 2024 the rule will still apply, only a9 powered processors and above will support Dual PC

This is something I haven’t tested. Most GPUs have one hdmi and then display ports. Please give me till Monday to get this answer for you

You can see combinations available at the end of the video and air tv + hdmi is not supported
Use multivew (side by side). Dual PC is for cabled connection only. Multivew is HDMI + combo (AP or air)

Your Tv doesn’t support Multiview option. It’s an a5 processor, for Multiview you need a a8 processor and above to enjoy this feature.
