The 1st song sounds so different from when they played it in 2020 I love the 2020 version especially Midoris antics during her solo she was way more animated.
Thanks for your reaction guys, just one thing next time pick the songs from Zep Diversity Tokyo 2020 and Tokyo Dom city hall 2021 live shows it's better quality both songs sound much better. I'd like to suggest to check out the song Addicted from Zep Diversity Tokyo 2020. Enjoy it.

Thank you for the reaction. About the moment when the organ sounds. You are absolutely right. A small piece also reminded me of Ken Hensley's Hammond (URIAH HEEP 1970s). I suggest you check out the song "Bravehearted" . To date this is the only LOVEBITES song written by Haruna (drums). Very good song.

These ladies are so good they've pretty much ruined me for listening to other bands.
Admitted, Lovebites' music quality is simply outrageous. How can anyone become so excellent in that short period of time anyway!? What are many other aspiring bands supposed to do now? Put their instruments into the next corner? 😂 Lovebites' way of just taking the Metal world by storm simply is not fair at all. 😂(Just joking.)
In my playlist, Iron Maiden survived until now. Their going gets a little bit tough by now, but true love just lasts a lifetime, does it not? 😁 So, "Up the Irons!", and long live Lovebites! 😉
Thanks for continuing to check out Lovebites. As others have mentioned, these are from older live concerts--there are newer ones, and it makes it possible to see and hear the progress they've made over that short time. They were already astounding when they first appeared as a group, but now they are at some sort of unreachable level. It's insane.

I mean metalheads have always done that to be fair. When I grew up with Metallica and Megadeth etc we always compared bands. For most listeners it is not meant to show a lack of respect for Lovebites. I personally rank them among the greats already and they are only going up. Dissonance and Soldier Stands Solitarily are just mind blowing speed thrash with classical influence. No one has done metal quite like this before. They are blazing new trails and I can't wait to go along for the ride.
I am 78 and been following Lovebites since November 2017. Since 2014 I've been listening to Japanese rock and metal almost exclusively. Saw all the great bands in the 1969s and 1970s, I would swap having seen those bands for a ticket to a Lovebites concert before I die.

@@skoob-kq7ms I would love to see them in concert. One of my favorite metal bands, period. That being said, there is a part of me that is intrigued by the idea of a mosh pit with a song like Dissonance or Soldier Stands...These amazing women have always seemed so cultured and proper and I wonder if they realize the sheer level of passion and carnage they will unleash when that circle of death starts.
If you listened to them talking you would have heard one them say he's sick comparing them to other bands and they have their own sound which works, personally I think being compared to any band who are rated as one of the greats is a compliment.🤘🐺🎸

Im sure you will be told that this LIVE is the "wrong" version for the sound messed up by sound engineers. 2019 Daughters of Dawn LIVE is like unofficial live show and it is possible that Lovebites did not focus on the quality of sound recording.
2020 Five of a Kind LIVE and 2021 Heavy Metal never Dies LIVE are where you need to react.

you saw Holy War 2020 which is the4 recommended starting point for Lovebites newbies but I would go as far as to say you should also listen to Holy War in 2021 from Ride for Vengeance Asami holds those notes on Holy War an insane amount of time more than twice as long as she did in the 2020 performance.

But how much better they got in just one year is mindblowing!
At this time they still were a new band, but you hardly hear such a difference in just one year... Except for Band-maid ofc.
Shadowmaker is one I actually love the studio official video better than the early lives on

Thanks for more Lovebites reviews. These ladies have been amazing musicians since they were formed in 2016. Haruna, beast drummer full of stamina and endurance. Miho the power bassist 'head banger'. Midori and Miyako (M&M) guitar shredder duo. Most songs they played harmonise. Asami the golden voice with R&B background is also the lyricist. All songs were damn good with uplifting lyrics, motivating, advice and humanity. React more of them, other genres like Empty Daydream, Epiloque, Edge Of The World in live version. Epic and Masterpiece🤘🤘👍👍
Something I am not familiar with is that Ruby beer or even local US Beer for that matter. I drink Hobgoblin from the Wychwood brewery in England, its a fine Ruby beer at 5.2% and another at 6.6%. One other place that sells Ruby beer draft and bottled is at the Pravda beer theater, Lviv, Ukraine. Sampling beer in different countries has become a hobby for me when travelling
We are going to start going global here soon. That’s how I started! English, German, Irish, Czech and even Croatian

Hell Yeah! For the longest time I argued back and forth to decide which one of these two songs was my favorite Lovebites song. Now they are both top five but asking me to rank them is like asking a parent to choose which kid they like better. Lovebites has an amazing discography. Winds of Transylvania is one that I do not think you have tried. That is definitely worth a listen.
Do yourselves a favor and listen to the 2020 performances. The entire band is far improved by then.
To me, BREAK THE WALL sounds like SLAYER + GARY MOORE. “Encore” in Japanese is “an-ko-ru.”
