Love your videos, very informative, thanks. For this one...I would have liked a few more visual examples and explanation about the different scenarios in choosing between the various ND (8,16,32, etc) and how you make the choice between them. What, in the scene, do you look for, that determines a stronger ND filter. Sorry, but I am a newbie here, so, any more info would be very helpful for me. Again, thanks sooo much for all your videos! ( I realize this is 2 years old so hope you are still out there doing this.)

In full sun and snow, you recommend an ND 64. I noticed, though, that when you were listing the filters that came in the pack you were reviewing, that the only 64 was a polarized ND filter. In your experience, does polarization have the same glare reducing effect with snow as it does with water?
Most of my filter experience has been with black and white film photography, where the rules can be very different (I used orange and green filters a lot). I have used gradiated ND filters in still photography, but generally found that those effects could usually be done in post, and don't require all that fiddling about in the field.
Also, you've posted several videos where you've referenced ND filters, but I don't recall you're ever explaining what they were. Perhaps for the edification of your subscribers, you could post another video (maybe expanding on this one) explaining just what Neutral Density filters are? Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen anything other than the abbreviation "ND" here. Anyway, just a thought.

Um .. real and prescient questions were asked. "Cheers," seems like an insufficient reply. Why did you bother?

Thanks Jake- can’t seem to get the ring off the air easily . How does the rubber band help?

Ive been trying to find a set of ND filters for the Mavic Air. Im having a hard time finding just ND filters. All the ones I find are the NDPL. Im not sure I have the need for polarized filters. It would be nice if these companies would off just plain ND filters.

@@JakeSloan I picked up their standard day pack, and their bright day pack. It equals the filters that is in their all day pack, but about 20.00 cheaper buying it as the two packs, instead of the single 8 pack.. Also the smaller 4 packs, the storage box Has slots for 8 filters. So I can throw them all into one pack have the same filters, save 20.00 and have an extra case for more filters in the future if needed. Ill probably still pick up an nd32, and nd64 non polarized filters. Just to finish out the set. I may also grab an nd1000 for photos.
