Logan isn't a sequel
Logan is awesome don't get me wrong but it wasn't a sequel and the only movie on your list that isn't. You could have put across the spider verse in there. I had top 3 as winter soldier, across the spider verse and of course Dark Knight.

He said at the beginning these would be second Instalments so why is Logan on the list and why are Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War in the honourable mentions? All those films are threequels. Hell, if the last two count why in God’s name are they honourable mentions only?

‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is also one of my 12+ favorite MCU movies.
It won an Oscar for “Best Costume Design” in 2023.

BP2 was a horrid mess.
Let's hope we get a new version of T'Challa by a new actor after "Avengers: Secret Wars" might possibly soft reboot the MCU so it doesn't feel like disrespecting the memory of the actor or his passing of him or that version of the character played by him before 🙅
Superman II deserved a higher slot on this list.

I don’t like Batman, but I agree that ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE should’ve at least got an honorable mention. It’s not as great as INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, but it’s better than all these other movies.
One thing about Spider-Man movies is since the Tobey trilogy (besides spider verse) none of the others have made New York feel as lived in, or as much of a character itself since then.
Next to Logan, X2 is probably the best X Men movie

When I first saw _Captain America: The Winter Soldier_ at a drive-in movie theater, I didn’t remember a lot of it, but seeing Steve have to fight a brainwashed Bucky made me realize how wrong I was to take the film for granted. It’s one of Marvel’s greatest sequels.
‘The Dark Knight’ became one of the best after 16+ years.

I know they had time to make a plan for the what if with Chadwick Boseman, but they really pulled it off and it was so so good. Hate if they are planning to cancel Khan because the actor. That actor just seemed to be trying to do a poor man’s Denzel. So just replace him with John David Washington and we’re back on track. Logan, Ragnarok and Infinity War aren't the 2nd movie in their franchises. The Wolverine was the 2nd Wolverine movie, The Dark World was the 2nd Thor movie and Age Of Ultron was the 2nd Avengers movie. My picks would be:

I'm the minority here:
I like the Dark Knight, I’d rewatch the trilogy for sure, but it didn't leave as much of an impact on me as it does other people.
It’s not a bad film, I just didn't get as much out of it.
And I know there’s recency bias in play, but I do tend to prefer The Batman over the Dark Knight. That one stuck with me more for some reason. Maybe it’s because it felt more true to the Batman legend for me personally.
Does that make sense?
I don't hate either film, and neither is perfect. I have enjoyed both, just not for the same reasons.
Winter Soldier should be at No. 2 and X2 at No. 4.

Shouldn't even be eligble, as it's not the 2nd installment in the Avengers-franchise, that's Age Of Ultron. Same goes for Logan(The Wolverine is the 2nd Wolverine-movie), Thor: Ragnarok(The Dark World is the 2nd Thor-movie). So kinda confused why they are on the list.

This list is so good. But just by how many times i have watched the movie... has to be the Dark Knight as number 1. I can watch that movie at least 2 times a year every year.

The Suicide Squad deserves to be called THE Suicide Squad, because it surpasses its predecessorin every way. It's funnier, gorier, has better action, and makes you actually care about the characters. When people died in Suicide Squad, I shrugged. The Suicide Squad made me laugh or cry. Or both.

I read a subreddit thread recently reminding me that one of the reasons why DC AND Fantastic Four kept falling wasn't just executive meddling but because they didn't have their own independent studio yet like Marvel did. And now they do and I'm excited for the DCU and the new F4 movie!

Interesting how most of these are very auteur led. This is Del Toro’s take on Blade, Burton’s Batman etc. If studios want to keep the superhero genre viable then they need to start hiring real directors again. Cap 4 will be from the director of Cloverfield Paradox 🙄 which won’t do them any favours

This list is a disgrace. They should've included third and fourth movies like Endgame, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, and The Dark Knight Rises. I don't even know how they had two third movies in the honorable mentions but they wouldn't have any other one in there. Across the Spider Verse and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 should've been mentioned too and been on here.
