First time I've heard the pilots giving souls and fuel without being nagged by ATC :). Also wonderful handoff between the ATC controllers at Potomac Departure

I've been trying to tell others on the other ATC channels that take liberties with the situation, changing it slightly, editing and changing the situations. This channel is the best.

@@JohnSmith-zi9or I stopped following any other ATC channels, for all those reasons. This is the only one I track now.

Best ATC comment .. they tell her the plan and that they have checklist and she says, "That's fine I'll leave you alone." Brilliant.

So the passengers only got a taxi voucher? I'd want a refund and free flight.

Pretty sure cancelled flights are refunded

I'm not sure exactly how American Airlines handles cancellations, but the passengers probably had the choice between a seat on another flight (potentially the following day) or receiving a refund.

13:26 Good thing to note is that the schematic shown is that for the newer Airbus A320s. Older A320s, including N766US (I believe) would be equipped with Green Hydraulic NWS. The point with Reverser 2 is less relevant since assuming autobrake is used, thrust reversers would have no effect on the commanded deceleration rate.

The exact same scenario happened to us about 20 years ago on a flight from Reagan to Orlando but we ended up in Baltimore. Very interesting to see what was probably happening. A little unnerving to see all the emergency vehicles as we crossed the threshold. Thanks for the video.

    *OLD MOVIE HELP*
I am looking for a movie i believe was based around 1950. I think the pilot was a seed spreader for farms and would charge the local kids to fly with him.
He was building a plane to do a front loop. I think the plane was painted yellow.
At the end either he or his buddy crashes and is stuck. He yells, "Don't let me burn!"
His buddy hit him with a shovel and knocks him out then he dies.
Dude didn't want to comply with the new FAA or ATC.
Does anyone have any idea the name of this movie???

Hi! Just in case you're still looking: this sounds a whole lot like The Great Waldo Pepper, 1975, with Robert Redford.
