Since I already have a DeWalt drill, charger and batteries there was no need to buy more of those so this was a great deal.There is one other consideration. DeWalt does't sell the depth guide separately so you need to buy the three parts which make it up -- the N275350 block assy, the N275341 metal rod and the N278801 knob. Amazon does sell all three.
Very nice. For Electrical work SOG used to make the Paladin 540 which was an amazing multi tool. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to find even used anymore.
You have to have a Costco Membership but the Exclusive Leatherman Bolster is probably the cheapest brand new normal size Leatherman multi-tool you can buy... It only costs $39.99
Not a good experience with the Multiforce. I was unable to close the tool due to pliers getting stuck. I returned the tool to WalMart and will be purchasing the BiBury 19 in 1 (a Wave clone). Thanks for your experience.
Purchased both Nextools….they are fantastic. Purchased the Multiforce; I was unable to get the tool to close. Returned it to Walmart, an experience unto itself.

There is no flaw... There is nothing wrong with the Multiforce, I owned one for many years. It doesn't matter if you have a Leatherman, Gerber or one of the many no-name brands out there they all work as intended. If you buy one and think your going to rebuild a car engine or build a house using only it and abusing it beyond the intended purpose of the multi tool.. sure thing ANY of them will break.
Basically it is the same. Some people say the Multiforce is better. I have the cheapest version which is Flissa branded and is $28 on Amazon. It doesn't have a pocket clip though.
I suppose that's a loaded question to some extent LoL. Some would say the NASA Leatherman Charge Special Edition might be one of the best at $2500 or so. Some would the Victorinox Swisstool or Spirit at around $200 is the best. The Leatherman Wave seems to be one one of the best hybrids of quality and practical utility. At around $110 it's a bit more reasonable.
I am in the process getting my multitool as well. Leatherman is the best top notch of all the brands... they have a 20 or 39 year warranty on the products. Research see what you like. 👍🏾

I've recently started daily carrying a SOG paratool and have few complaints (IT/electrician work) but I still find myself watching these for fun

The Multiforce has a design flaw that will destroy the viability of the pliers when too much force is applied. Otherwise, good list.
