First of all. I have read Lucy's book when it came out. It just had a 'ring of truth' for me and i believe her story. I have followed Billy and Joe for long time. They don't read any books about Elvis ,one exeption beeing Lisa's book and they believe all that Lisa says it is true. There have been so many paternity stories about Elvis, so i think they just thought, that's one more of them! ELVIS WAS ALL ABOUT PEACE AND LOVING KINDNESS!

I suggest Option 1 & 2 I think a good place to start perking more ears up, to have listeners, especially Elvis's family to reconsider taking it more serious, is for Desiree to have a DNA done of who she was originally told was her biological father. If he's passed away, if he had biological children, Desiree can do a DNA test with theirs. Have official document presented. Of course there will still be naysayers but either way you will. It will at least exhibit that she is making efforts from her she's really trying to prove herself other then with what her mothet left her and told her. Option No 2 Desiree have an attorney write up a letter to send to EPE with it signed by attorney and her stating all she wants is a DNA submitted to know if he's her father. She's not seeking anything from his estate, will not be using the last name Presley in an pursuit for monetary and entertainment value. Will not do any interviews with magazines, books, and documentaries. All they can do is decline. If they do decline, it's another piece of evidence to present of how serious she is in her pursuit and to show those who think she's after money.

We are not to talk ill of the dead, but maybe this true story will help someone. I had a sister who was 9 years older than me. She was always putting on airs as if she were better than her family. Dad had a third grade education, Mom graduated seventh. I think that was as far as the school went in that area. Anyway, my sister once said that she had a boyfriend who she would not bring home to meet the family because Mom, especially, could not speak proper English. I thought, I wouldn't want a boyfriend like that! She was being a BIG snob! The Hollywood Presleys are snubbing the cousins. Now, the cousins are snubbing a possible relative. If we are truly Christians, we are commanded to love one another. And to treat others as we want to be treated. My sister hurt me and I never told my parents. I forgive her, but cannot forget.
Joe you realise you're talking about people with a channel who are in there 80's, they are lovely kin of Elvis. The better question about DNA is why Desiree didn't legally do this 40 years ago.

Lucy could have settled this herself many years ago. She claims she and Elvis had a secret affair for 25 years, and Desiree was born in 1958. She could have told Elvis, and I'm sure he would have taken a blood test if she really wanted him to. She obviously kept enough secrets, so she could have kept it to herself until the time was right. Instead, Desiree is being exploited and scrutinized by thousands of people. Isn't this what she tried to avoid? It doesn't matter if Desiree is or isn't Elvis' daughter at this point. Elvis, Lucy, and Lisa aren't here, and other than Desiree getting peace of mind, what does it matter? I believe Elvis and Lucy had an affair, but I don't think she was the love of his life. If so, they would have found a way to be together, whether it was the 50's 60's, 70's etc.
@@Tabgh with all due respect, Jerry Lee Lewis' career was totally ruined because he married his 13 year old 2nd cousin when he was 22 years old. Times were extremely different, and if it were exposed that Elvis was having an affair with a woman with children, and that it began when she was married, his career would have suffered drastically, if not become completely in the toilet. Since Desiree was born in 1958, she would have been treated horribly by haters back in the 1960's as she was growing up, and the early 1970's. It was simply a different time. Also, Elvis was a married man until 1973. Let's be fair to Lucy because she DID plan to tell Elvis in 1977 the next time they were together. She had no way of knowing that, even with his health problems, that he would pass away before they could meet again at the young age of 42 years old. Sure, it's easy for us to look back, and say "you should have, you could have, and you didn't, so it's all her fault. I believe he found out about Desiree during their last conversation when he said, "My two Desirees." What else could he have meant, and he seemed very happy about it. Further, if you listened to one of Joe's conversations with Billy Stanley, Billy said that Elvis had told him that he was going to make some big changes after he came back from his last tour, and one of those changes was getting rid of Colonel Tom Parker, and he mentioned basically getting rid of a lot of the guys. That is basically what he had said to Lucy during their last conversation. He even mentioned her moving into Graceland. Therefore, it seemed to both of them that they still had time. Lucy thought she could help him get healthy essentially. I believe as much as they loved each other, and Elvis seeming to want to settle down his lifestyle since it wasn't going so great with Ginger Alden due to her very young age. He had lived ten life times, and she was just starting to live. Lucy was excited about taking Desiree to Graceland, and introducing her to Elvis finally. I completely understand why she couldn't tell Elvis about Desiree because she was protecting him at first from her horrible first husband, and as a result hid from him for ten years. She ultimately married again because let's face it --- she had 4 children, and the man she married suggested that they get married to basically help each other make life easier, and then Elvis found her, so now she is a married woman. One last thing, how many of us have made the best decisions for our lives under 40 years old?
Desiree would have been able to do this years ago, why didn't she? I'd love for Elvis to have another child but every time concrete proof should be there something disappears, like the tapes that had Lucy & Elvis's voice. I don't think that Priscilla has the legal power over someone else's body. Legally you could get the child's father to give DNA. Legally the relatives don't have to do it. Out of the kindness of their hearts they should do it. Wishing you all the best Desire'e

He said he observed no deceptive cues or patterns during their interviews and felt they were truthful in what they shared. He suggest if DNA not possible then to have an expert of voice stress analysis weigh in and to get a facial DNA mapping with parents photos and her own. I think the Finstead author hired voice analysis for Priscilla and Currie Grant. He found Priscilla was lying and Currie was truthful. Imagine that😂
I know how hard it is to find out the truth. I have a friend who was adopted and even though she loved her adopted parents, she always was curious about her real parents. Finally she did find out & even though they had passed, at least she was at peace knowing who they were. I hope Desiree can also too. Thanks Joe
I respect everyone's opinion , l enjoy listening to all these stories. I saw the video, l don't think it was done in a disrespectful manner. I was watching a story about Elvis Aaron Presley Jr. out there claiming he was Elvis's son . But l enjoy their channel, and l also enjoy the Spa Guys Channel. Everyone has a different story about Elvis. Barbara Hearn said in her interview that she was there when Vernon brought Dee Stanley home for the first time. That Dodger didn't like Dee Stanley, so there's another different story about someone that wasn't trying to be ugly but was there with Dodger upstairs at Graceland.. Everyone has so many different things to share about Elvis. The Spa Guy was with Billy Jo Smith and his family in Tupelo last year , they seemed to all be ok together. In 1956 Billy Jo Smith was 13 years old at that time. The pledge was a poem that Elvis Presley wrote Billy Jo Smith because Elvis told something about Billy Jo he wasn't supposed to tell anyone and it hurt Billy Jo and that when the promise came about.

When I saw the post that EFM, I was surprised! I had a similar experience to Desiree’s. My Daddy introduced me to a young lady a few years older than myself. When she found her biological Mother, she was told that my Daddy was her biological Father. I thought she was my sister for years! Although I guess she always had a reason to question this. So over twenty years later she was able to pay for a DNA test with my Daddy. We were all surprised that biologically she was not my Daddy’s daughter. My sister knew something that she always questioned her biological Father. And it meant so much to her to know the truth! Unfortunately her biological Father passed away before she found out the truth! I wish someone would help Desiree! It’s something many people may not understand NEEDING to know and prove the truth of who her biological Father is! I believe it’s much more than that fact that Elvis is her biological Father! Poor Desiree💔 Nowadays you don’t even need a paternal family DNA sample to confirm parentage though with the use of genetic genealogy. You don’t even need the Presley family involved at all because his very distant relatives’ DNA will undoubtedly be in the system. People that don’t even know they’re related to Elvis, their DNA can confirm the match. She needs to hire a genetic genealogist. Genetic genealogy was used to find the golden state killer, solve other crimes, and it’s helped lots of adoptees across the country find out who their biological parents are. Hope this helps!
That’s only correct if it’s not a secretive family like dismiss and Presley that don’t put their DNA in the system. We really have to think a little bit more outside the box. People like you and me that want to put our DNA in the system that’s perfectly fine. These.com websites that’s not DNA that’s just people claiming they are a relative.
Its shows like this that educate the public. For far to long people did not know the truth. I don't believe in getting in fights. Just by talking this will get worked out. We have to understand that the estate that does the Elvis tours is concerned about keeping the public coming there. I think that people will always love Elvis. Books will be written some negative people who don't know Elvis and haven't read any books will say their messages that don't credit the love of Elvis. Elvis will continue to be loved.

Joe, I love your channel and your passion about being an Elvis fan. I respect that you want to know the truth about Elvis to get to know the real man and not just the legend. I just have to respectfully disagree about your take on the Smiths and your take on Desiree. I listened to that show, and putting the headline aside, I did not get the impression that they were bullying. They were stating their beliefs. They do not believe she is Elvis's daughter. And if they sounded a bit dismissive of the claim, it's because this isn't new. They have heard it all before, many years ago, and many times. They weren't convinced the first time they heard about it, and there hasn't been enough new evidence to make them change their mind. I feel for Desiree, I really do because her mom told her that her father was Elvis, and of course you would want to believe your mom. But the Smiths have every right not to submit their DNA for testing. DNA is highly personal and they have their right to privacy. They shouldn't be shamed publicly for saying no. That is bullying. I believe Desiree is sincere, but I am having trouble believing Lucy's story.
Maybe, at this point in time, email them a nice letter of introduction, describing your intent and DESIREE's predicament. At least they will be informed and up to speed on the topic. Also maybe keep in mind, that not everyone would be willing to part with their DNA sample because of philosophical beliefs regarding personal privacy. ... (idk, maybe, it's past that point)
I trust what Billy, Jo and Danny say over anyone else. IMO, you are bulling them with these videos calling them out for saying what they think and know. They have every right not to give up their DNA for Desiree or anyone else. Can you imagine how many people would hound them for their DNA if they gave it to Desiree. Also, I think it's small of you to constantly say how many subscribers you have verses the Smith's or Darby or any other RUclipsr that doesn't agree with you. Billy's DNA actually isn't a great choice, because there's always the possibility Billy is related by blood. Who knows. His link to Elvis was his "father"

Each time I take back the book to try to understand why you seem so sure that it's true, each time I notice a new line totally opposite to Elvis the way we know him. "If we have a boy he'll have to have a title, not just a name". Elvis himself did not want to be named "the King", so he could not have wanted any title for his child.

I think in order to accuse five experts of not being good and they’re being nobody on record that said it was not Elvis’s handwriting. I think that opens the door for Elvis Presley enterprises in the billion dollars they have to pay somebody off so I don’t think that’s gonna happen. The person a community is a family member that won’t give DNA. That would be the person. It’s because they’re not Elvis Presley relative because they might be legitimate and ruin their business and I’m not talking about anybody in particular I’m talking about any Elvis relative that declines, or they just don’t want another Presley to take away from there appearance fees(I’m talking about anyone in the family that declines)

I follow EFM, MMK and your channel Joe. I don't feel like EFM were bullying Desiree. How many people have come out and said they were Elvis daughter or son, if you won't supply DNA then drop the stories. I've followed some of the books you were reading but only did bits and pieces of Lucy's book and I've seen you and Darby go back and forth. I don't know what the truth is. What about Donna Presley and there are other family members who could give DNA not just Billy. I don't blame him for not doing it, but I don't think it has anything to do with him proving or disproving. I also don't think if Elvis had a good idea of another child being his he would have not taken care of that child. I read some things Darby posted yesterday about the Lucy book, she did her research and it was compelling also. I think maybe the reason Jo answers some of the questions is she was there from a young age with Billy and sometimes they correct each other if one of them forgets. i hope you and EFM work things out. I praised there channel and asked very politely. I stated a few facts that only Lucy would know etc and Lucy's poem etc. I ended by saying please find it in your heart to do the right thing for Desiree please. No answer as I expected. Its so frustrating and selfish of them. Time is running out. They said a couple of weeks before that, that they didnt know who Desiree is and why doesn't rare Elvis photos ask us directly. The last video they did saying Desiree who. What I found really disrespectful was they said everyone is saying they are Elvis's Son, Daughter, i think some even came out wearing a jumpsuit, so disappointed in Billy. Epe should just have submitted a sample into a database so if anyone tried to make claims the family wasn’t bothered . Tbh , i can’t imagine how it feels to have a bunch of ppl ask you for a dna test 50 years after your cousin died . Apparently that cook Eliza presley got patsy Presleys dna . Why doesn’t she ask to test against patsy… or at least look up the court records where it clearly states the loci etc ? There are other ways . I just saw Jerry talking about how Elvis went to Dallas after he was in DC, before going to LA. He called Jerry in Dallas. Why was E in Dallas? Did he go there to see Lucy then got cold feet?
The problem here is that all the Presley relatives and the estate are not gonna give up any DNA so unless somebody goes rogue and put their DNA in the system, it’s never gonna happen. For some reason either because they were paid a lump sum not to do it or they feel loyal for some reason to Elvis Presley enterprises and Priscilla Presley. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were either threatened with a lawsuit and not to provide DNA or they were compensated. I can’t imagine any other reason.
I don’t have a horse in this race but I would like to comment that condescension is a form of bullying. For instance, you routinely use the name “Prissy” when referring to Priscilla when that has never been her nickname and you use it as a way to put her down. That is bullying. Your treatment of Priscilla, because you apparently dislike her, is no different than the “disrespect and immaturity” that you ascribed to the Smith family over their remarks concerning Desiree. Are you being serious right now? After everything Priscilla put Lisa through, you are seriously calling a nickname bullying? Yet, He and Jo still have the video up that is titled Desiree WHO? That being said, I am not keen to make any more videos about it. The family showed their true colors, and although they completely have a right not to settle the question, to make a video and laugh and make fun of her was uncalled for. I thought I liked billy, but then again he was hated on by Lisa Marie for taking part in that awful book by Alana Nash, so i don't know. I just kind of always thought he was a nice guy, but I never really looked into him.
I've tried listening to them for months, but just didn't get anything out of listening to them. I don't dislike them at all! I'm very disappointed in how both family and fans of Elvis would get so angry over something no one can change either way. I'm not getting into this very sad situation.

Two of my half-brothers that have SAME Mom but DIFFERENT Dads submitted their DNA to the SAME Ancestry Company & they were both notified that they were PROBABLY COUSINS !!! I’m the oldest & I know Mom physically gave birth to all of them. I was 12 when 1 of them was born & almost 18 when the youngest was born. I would like to see DNA testing done. Desiree didn’t learn she was supposedly Elvis’ daughter until she was 19 & he had already passed away but Lisa was still alive. She has been trying to DNA test since then. I’m sure Priscilla & EPE have done everything in their power to prevent it. Elvis has always been Priscilla’s & Navarone’s cash cow. You think it’s funny no one knew about Lucy but remember Billy Smith said he didn’t know anything about June Juanico either & there are many pics of her with Elvis & some with Gladys & Vernon. Other people in Biloxi knew of them also like the man that let them go out on the fishing boat. You can see all of that in June’s book that Joe of Rare Elvis Photos is currently reading. Joe, I have listen to all your videos on “Are You Lonesome Tonight”, I find the book to be very informative and believable. I enjoyed it so much I bought the book myself. I’ve been a fan of Elvis nearly all my life. What makes me sad Elvis couldn’t make a commitment to Lucy, even hearing the love he per fessed to her!! After listening to this story, although he would tell Lucy how much he loved her and wanted to have a life with her, he had a big issue with loyalty to one woman. His career didn’t help him to stay loyal, just like many artist have women falling all over them. It has to be very difficult, but in my opinion, he would have been a better man to not have given Lucy hope for their future. No doubt this is why Lucy could not tell him about their child, something I could or would have done. I’m sorry and we shouldn’t judge why people do what they do , like Elvis would say “ you never walked in that man’s shoes”, but that was wrong and heartbreaking, but I think she was protecting Elvis from bad press, with just starting his career could have shown him in bad light!! In my opinion Billy knows so much more than he is admitting, and my thoughts is that’s why he does not answer questions as much as Jo does. They only knew what Elvis told them and as family, you don't tell them everything, especially things you might find embarrassing or just not their business. My question has always been what your question to Joe is. Why in all the years did the Smiths not contact Lisa M. or now Riley. Billy & Jo were the adults and they obviously loved Elvis. I know Elvis would have wanted them to remain a big part of Lisa M. life and that could had been accomplished after Lisa M. became an adult. We all know why Billy & Jo couldn't take their home with them when they left Graceland and it wasn't Because, Vernon was a tightwad it was because Priscilla had a lein on Graceland and their home was on that property. The problems coming from EFM come from the young girl in charge of the channel. She has been controversial in the past (see Billy and Trey from the SpaGuy and Globetrotting with Trey channels) and uses it to try and grow the channel. Billy and Joe are not perfect but their channel suffers, unfortunately, because of this young lady. While I don't believe Desiree is Elvis' daughter, I do feel that she is a person and shouldn't be targeted like this. Shame on the young lady for attempting again to grow their channel like this.

I think that Joe gave a blanket answer that nobody’s gonna give her DNA from that family. Which makes me think they have an NDA or they were paid off or something. First of all. I have read Lucy's book when it came out. It just had a 'ring of truth' for me and i believe her story. I have followed Billy and Joe for long time. They don't read any books about Elvis ,one exeption beeing Lisa's book and they believe all that Lisa says it is true. I think a good place to start perking more ears up, to have listeners, especially Elvis's family to reconsider taking it more serious, is for Desiree to have a DNA done of who she was originally told was her biological father. If he's passed away, if he had biological children, Desiree can do a DNA test with theirs. Have official document presented. Of course there will still be naysayers but either way you will. It will at least exhibit that she is making efforts from her she's really trying to prove herself other then with what her mothet left her and told her.

Desiree have an attorney write up a letter to send to EPE with it signed by attorney and her stating all she wants is a DNA submitted to know if he's her father. She's not seeking anything from his estate, will not be using the last name Presley in an pursuit for monetary and entertainment value. Will not do any interviews with magazines, books, and documentaries. All they can do is decline. If they do decline, it's another piece of evidence to present of how serious she is in her pursuit and to show those who think she's after money.

Dad had a third grade education, Mom graduated seventh. I think that was as far as the school went in that area. Anyway, my sister once said that she had a boyfriend who she would not bring home to meet the family because Mom, especially, could not speak proper English. I thought, I wouldn't want a boyfriend like that! She was being a BIG snob! The Hollywood Presleys are snubbing the cousins. Now, the cousins are snubbing a possible relative. Lucy could have settled this herself many years ago. She claims she and Elvis had a secret affair for 25 years, and Desiree was born in 1958. She could have told Elvis, and I'm sure he would have taken a blood test if she really wanted him to. She obviously kept enough secrets, so she could have kept it to herself until the time was right. Instead, Desiree is being exploited and scrutinized by thousands of people. Isn't this what she tried to avoid? It doesn't matter if Desiree is or isn't Elvis' daughter at this point. Elvis, Lucy, and Lisa aren't here, and other than Desiree getting peace of mind, what does it matter? I believe Elvis and Lucy had an affair, but I don't think she was the love of his life. If so, they would have found a way to be together, whether it was the 50's 60's, 70's etc.

Times were extremely different, and if it were exposed that Elvis was having an affair with a woman with children, and that it began when she was married, his career would have suffered drastically, if not become completely in the toilet. Since Desiree was born in 1958, she would have been treated horribly by haters back in the 1960's as she was growing up, and the early 1970's. It was simply a different time. She had no way of knowing that, even with his health problems, that he would pass away before they could meet again at the young age of 42 years old. I believe he found out about Desiree during their last conversation when he said, "My two Desirees." What else could he have meant, and he seemed very happy about it. Further, if you listened to one of Joe's conversations with Billy Stanley, Billy said that Elvis had told him that he was going to make some big changes after he came back from his last tour, and one of those changes was getting rid of Colonel Tom Parker, and he mentioned basically getting rid of a lot of the guys. That is basically what he had said to Lucy during their last conversation. He even mentioned her moving into Graceland. Therefore, it seemed to both of them that they still had time. Lucy thought she could help him get healthy essentially. I believe as much as they loved each other, and Elvis seeming to want to settle down his lifestyle since it wasn't going so great with Ginger Alden due to her very young age. He had lived ten life times, and she was just starting to live. Lucy was excited about taking Desiree to Graceland, and introducing her to Elvis finally. I completely understand why she couldn't tell Elvis about Desiree because she was protecting him at first from her horrible first husband, and as a result hid from him for ten years. She ultimately married again because let's face it --- she had 4 children, and the man she married suggested that they get married to basically help each other make life easier, and then Elvis found her, so now she is a married woman. One last thing, how many of us have made the best decisions for our lives under 40 years old?

Joe I had my uncle a retired investigator look at a few videos of Desiree and Lucy. He said he observed no deceptive cues or patterns during their interviews and felt they were truthful in what they shared. He suggest if DNA not possible then to have an expert of voice stress analysis weigh in and to get a facial DNA mapping with parents photos and her own.
I think the Finstead author hired voice analysis for Priscilla and Currie Grant. He found Priscilla was lying and Currie was truthful. Imagine that😂

When she found her biological Mother, she was told that my Daddy was her biological Father. I thought she was my sister for years! Although I guess she always had a reason to question this. So over twenty years later she was able to pay for a DNA test with my Daddy. We were all surprised that biologically she was not my Daddy’s daughter. My sister knew something that she always questioned her biological Father. And it meant so much to her to know the truth! Poor Desiree💔 Nowadays you don’t even need a paternal family DNA sample to confirm parentage though with the use of genetic genealogy. You don’t even need the Presley family involved at all because his very distant relatives’ DNA will undoubtedly be in the system. People that don’t even know they’re related to Elvis, their DNA can confirm the match. She needs to hire a genetic genealogist. Genetic genealogy was used to find the golden state killer, solve other crimes, and it’s helped lots of adoptees across the country find out who their biological parents are. Hope this helps!

I think in order to accuse five experts of not being good and they’re being nobody on record that said it was not Elvis’s handwriting. I think that opens the door for Elvis Presley enterprises in the billion dollars they have to pay somebody off so I don’t think that’s gonna happen. The person a community is a family member that won’t give DNA. That would be the person. How many people have come out and said they were Elvis daughter or son, if you won't supply DNA then drop the stories. I've followed some of the books you were reading but only did bits and pieces of Lucy's book and I've seen you and Darby go back and forth. I don't know what the truth is. What about Donna Presley and there are other family members who could give DNA not just Billy. I don't blame him for not doing it, but I don't think it has anything to do with him proving or disproving. I also don't think if Elvis had a good idea of another child being his he would have not taken care of that child. I read some things Darby posted yesterday about the Lucy book, she did her research and it was compelling also. The problem here is that all the Presley relatives and the estate are not gonna give up any DNA so unless somebody goes rogue and put their DNA in the system, it’s never gonna happen. For some reason either because they were paid a lump sum not to do it or they feel loyal for some reason to Elvis Presley enterprises and Priscilla Presley. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were either threatened with a lawsuit and not to provide DNA or they were compensated. I can’t imagine any other reason.

My Mom had 6 kids by 3 different husbands. Two of my half-brothers that have SAME Mom but DIFFERENT Dads submitted their DNA to the SAME Ancestry Company & they were both notified that they were PROBABLY COUSINS !!!

Joe, I have listen to all your videos on “Are You Lonesome Tonight”, I find the book to be very informative and believable. I enjoyed it so much I bought the book myself. I’ve been a fan of Elvis nearly all my life. What makes me sad Elvis couldn’t make a commitment to Lucy, even hearing the love he per fessed to her!!
After listening to this story, although he would tell Lucy how much he loved her and wanted to have a life with her, he had a big issue with loyalty to one woman. His career didn’t help him to stay loyal, just like many artist have women falling all over them. It has to be very difficult, but in my opinion, he would have been a better man to not have given Lucy hope for their future. No doubt this is why Lucy could not tell him about their child, something I could or would have done. I’m sorry and we shouldn’t judge why people do what they do , like Elvis would say “ you never walked in that man’s shoes”, but that was wrong and heartbreaking, but I think she was protecting Elvis from bad press, with just starting his career could have shown him in bad light!!

The problems coming from EFM come from the young girl in charge of the channel. She has been controversial in the past (see Billy and Trey from the SpaGuy and Globetrotting with Trey channels) and uses it to try and grow the channel. Billy and Joe are not perfect but their channel suffers, unfortunately, because of this young lady. While I don't believe Desiree is Elvis' daughter, I do feel that she is a person and shouldn't be targeted like this. Shame on the young lady for attempting again to grow their channel like this.

I think that Joe gave a blanket answer that nobody’s gonna give her DNA from that family. Which makes me think they have an NDA or they were paid off or something. There’s no other reason to withhold DNA than that. But maybe the spa has something, but it would have to be protected and able to be used. I don’t know how long DNA can last unprotected.

The bullying is in the title. Basically not even saying her last name which is on her birth certificate. Desiree who- and then comparing her to Elvis Presley Junior. And saying that they would not give DNA and neither would the family. That’s bullying.
