Yes it’s a w/d/w Bogner Superlead mk 2 stereo rig from hell. I’ve got to admit that that rack you are using is FIRE. Noice work man… I always love it when you play Landau too. He’s a super nice guy and he’s happy to chat all things guitar… I got to hang with him and his wife back in 2017 at the Continental club in LA. 🤘🎸
That's a serious machine, unbelievable sounding. Ditto on the Landau, Tales from the Bulge is the GOAT rack tone album. My personal favs: - SPX90 (Symphonic) - Roland GP-16 (Space D mode 2) - vintage MXR MX-134 stereo chorus (the 3 knob yellow monster) ...this is my absolute #1, the Jamie West Oram chorus. Would be great to hear you demo one of those. Play 'Outside' by the Fixx and it's spectacular!👌
Man, that does sound killer.. Just beautiful. I love Chorus, but I don't know how to use it very well.. Usually I turn it down where it's just noticeable to give a thickening tone to my gain heavy tone doing chords, etc.. It sounds really really good! You're playing of course helps so much! The best pedal chorus I have tried is a Neunaber Inspire... it has a detune and a trichorus setting... not as lush as this rack unit but it sounds great when run in stereo.

Not all settings great for all kinds of parts, but I’d rather have the flexibility than be restricted to prevent ‘mistakes.’ I wish understood exactly what was happening at a few points the flanging/cancellation stuff around 13:00 was cool. Around 9:39 seemed like there was something pretty dramatic going on with the dry tone when you bring in delay line 1.
Hard to go past the JC120, still love the CE2 and lately I've been using the Timeline's 'filter' chorus too. Then there's the combinations of those.... That elkorus does sound great 👍👍👍
Apparently, there is another unit, equally rare but quite similar, the “Baloran TriKo”. It also occurred to me that you might appeal to Fractal and suggest they model one of these Synthoma Elkorus V3 units. Cheers~
Hi Leon ! Do you know of a pedal that would thicken, widen a distortion sound without adding too much modulation ? A bit like what the plugin from Mercuriall does...
Digitech Luxe or maybe a TC Mimiq especially if you run two amps at a time. The Mimiq is a double track sorta pedal that you can set to be really tight or a little loose.

Wow that surely is the sweetest chorus I ever did hear! What's with the 120 degrees out of phase? Would that be 180 too or is something extra going on?
The idea is you have 3 chorus "voices" that are each offset by 120 degrees (one third of a full cycle) to smooth out the obvious pitch changing"wobble" a single voice chorus or vibrato has.

There's stereo outs as well as what I'm guessing are CV outputs for the high/low LFO's and the mod phase (0, 120, 240)
