Just to correct you the ship has 19 decks and isn't the world largest cruise ship the current is wonder of the seas for Royal Caribbean.

Hi! Thanks for the update on this future colossal addition to the Disney Cruise family. I’m not a fan of this mega ships. The smaller DCL ships are easier to get to know on the shorter sailings. The larger the cruise ship the longer the sailings should be…the Cunard Queen Mary or round-the-world sailings. Happy holiday cruising to you this coming weekend.😎🚢

It’s not the biggest ship in the world, the Oasis-Class beats it (soon to be Icon of the seas) and a new ship class produced by MSC, and the largest ship ever built is the Seawise Giant.
6:20 the space will gonna be a entertainment area similar to the quantum class or a 2 deck dining and a panoramic view similar to the Disney Wish
Travel agents are gonna have a time when this ship finally sets sail. I can only imagine the pricing for the cruises to come.

Ship's current passenger size is 9,500. Hopefully Disney knocks that down by at least a few thousand. That is way more than a Navy Aircraft Carrier!
Yeah the staterooms are the big question mark for me. The existing ones are not Disney style rooms. They don't have the split bath. They don't have room for the separate seating area. They have standard small inside cabins that just plain don't exist on Disney ships. If they hope to adapt those it's going to be pretty expensive.
It would be look better if they only put 3 funnels, 1 at the front and 2 at the rear
This ship is a big investment for Disney and best believe I will be on it when it’s complete.

Yep I’m guessing the name of this ship is going to be the Disney Treasure
No this will be a separate addition on top of the Treasure. The Disney treasure I believe is supposed to be similar to the Wish in structure, design and size because they will be in the same class so it won’t be as big as this new ship they just purchased. And this new ship they purchased will also be on top of the 2-3 ships (I can’t remember how many it is) they announced would be joining the fleet in the next few years, which includes the Treasure.

This is a mega ship 🛳️ but I believe this ship is going to be the Disney Treasure Ship.
It’s not. They already announced that this will be an addition on top of the Disney Treasure. The Treasure and this massive ship will be 2 separate ships.
I’m not sure when but a while back DCL announced that they were adding 2 new ships to the fleet after the Wish that would all be in the same class and have a similar style, structure, and size as the Wish. During the D23 Expo they announced the name for one of the ships, which is the Treasure. Now they’ve announced the purchase of this massive ship but this is not the Treasure. So in total they will be adding 3 new ships in the next few years: the Treasure, the 2nd unnamed ship in the same class with the Treasure and the Wish, and this massive ship they just purchased.
You know D23 won’t happen for 2 years. Hopefully we’ll hear before 2024. 😊
It's not the biggest cruise ship in the world. The biggest nowadays is Wonder of the Seas, with 236.000 gross tons. And next year, Royal Caribbean will lunch the new world's biggest cruise ship; Icon of the Seas, with 250.800 gross tons and 20 decks. 🙂

The rooms on board are smaller with smaller bathrooms than their existing ships.
BTW: 4 of the 6 funnels are already on the ship. That's how it was engineered and it's WAY too late in the build process to change that so Disney just has to go with it. The front 2 funnels may be largely aesthetic.
That means it will be suitable for Europe, we don’t do plus size like America.
@@TheMrdominator1997 When I say smaller bathrooms I mean Disney has two separate areas because it is designed for families. One half contains a sink and a tub/shower combo, the other includes a toilet and another sink. Losing out on this would mean less convenience for a family regardless of where the ship sails. It's not about the space.

I read somewhere that this ship might do Asian and west coast cruises because of how large it is! But that could possibly be wrong and we of course won’t know until they announce it! But that kind of makes sense to have this ship do long distance cruises because of its size, it can handle the distance and the people.
And charges $10000 a person 😁😁👍👍👍

On the picture where you started counting decks you actually should have been on Deck four or five where you started this ship will have 20 decks without a problem!

I guess they'll replace the originally planned roller coaster and theme/water park with 6 funnels and a conveyor belt, I mean Aqua Mouse. With DCL building Lighthouse Point (2nd Bahamas Private Island) I'd be very surprised if they end up sailing it in the Asian market, i think it would be major mistake....they should sail from the US with 7 day itineraries and a more affordable option than their other 5, soon to be 7 ships. That would give them more options to expand their customer base and not out price the middle class like they seem to be doing with their theme parks. Once Mickey has his mitts on you they try to squeeze out every nickel and dime. If they were smart they should try to compete with RC Oasis class....there is a reason why they built 6 of them.

Honestly the design not looking bad but I think just two funnels would be perfectly enough at the back of the ship, but who knows what the future holds
Because of the mechanical systems already installed, four functional funnels are the minimum. I believe the two farthest forward are the "decorative" funnels. Those are also "essential" because Chapek wants the overpriced funnel suites for revenue....
Yup they're buying the bankrupt crystal liner cruise and half incomplete gobal cruise and sad why not just use that ship to cruise round south east Asian
