I couldn't wait so I pre-ordered the standard BT model as my first smartwatch... I am glad I saved some money and I prefer the leather strap over that one. That strap looks unpractical for charging.
For 200$ more the strap should be titanium and should be lte in my opinion.

@@MajorCB211 the more expensive titanium version is only titanium on the watch base and not the band too. It is also only Bluetooth and wifi not lte 4g

Great work on the video. I've paired my mystic silver gw3 with a stainless steel band. It looks really premium and passes for a normal watch. The old galaxy watch was a bit too chucky. Combined with the gradual software improvements the galaxy watches are really coming together.
I like how having both the GW3 and the active 2 gives me a choice between a technology look and a traditional look. I actually like both for different occasions.

I feel like it's redundant to have the watch as titanium and the band as stainless steel. Can't take full advantage of the titanium. Nonetheless I've ordered a band and saved money waiting a year and a half for it. Not backing out now! Thank you for the video

Hi, not for me since I already bought the gold smaller S3. I love this that I use with a G3 watch-face paired with a Dexcom on my phone & arm since I can see blood-sugar readings when I walk the dog & other stuff. (T1 diabetes for 56 years. The app on my phone wakes me with very loud warnings if I am LO in the night. We retired to France 5 years ago. The 'stress' notification is amusing-referred me to breathing exercises on my phone when I was shouting at some dork on the BBC Politics Show & again when I went for a haircut wearing my mask-chauffeuse seemed very young with a lot of tattoos tho' she was good. Love your vlogs & thanks for them all.
I do a little online therapy & sometimes I get a message in session suggesting I stand up that might be a bit confusing.😏 However I like the way it says well done when I move & detects a 'workout when I schnauzer walk & tells me kcals when I stop. Love France tho' reckon it's a bit behind tech-wise, local doc & consultant tend to let me get on with it. Look forward to when BP on Samsung Health is approved here-?2030! Best Wishes, Roger. I am actually a little disappointed by this - I was hoping for a completly titanium watch - the strap and all, I cant wear stainless Steel and was psyched when I read rumours of the Ti. GW3
Great video as always! I'm not so sure about spending so much on a watch that one would likely want to upgrade after 3 years as it will become technologically obsolete. My first thought is "What a waste of titanium"!! Now, if it was a titanium Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe, something you will keep for a lifetime and maybe pass it on to your children when you kick the bucket, well that's fine. But for a smartwatch, it's not worth it. Btw my brother got himself the 45mm stainless steel version and it looks great for cheaper. He's also very happy with the battery life, matches his old GW easily so it must be more efficient with it's smaller battery. I will keep my 44mm Watch Active 2. I've got BP monitor working , just waiting for the update to get ECG working correctly.

I'm not liking how they downgraded the charger. The charger that came with my Galaxy Watch 46mm is way more premium than the coin style charger of the more recent iterations. We've been duped.

I love smartwatches, but my Samsung S3 Frontier lasted 3 years, and now it cost more to replace the battery than the actually value of the watch! Not doing that again.

I bought the watch but I have no clue how to resize it, I took it to my watch guy and he wasn't sure either.
I just got it and figured out if you press the center tab of the link the pin will pop out.
I love the look of it and it is a nuance in design but it sure shows quality.

I cannot find anywhere if the watch 3 Titanium actually comes with The "smart caddie" pre-installed with the premium subscription. It was supposed to be, but even Samsung can't confirm it. Did the one you tested have it? It's supposed to be a top watch for golf
Where I'm from, Samsung is giving away the GW3 with purchase of Fold2. Many who bought Fold2 are reselling gw3. So I got one 45mm BT stainless steel at US$280 unboxed set. Very satisfied with it.
If you get the bluetooth/wifi version watch, the watch won't work (apps) if its not connected to phone or wifi? But the LTE version will work anytime without the phone?

The sensors of oxygen, blood presure and ECG are working? My GW3 is only a GW with a very poor batery life, (less than a day with AOD) and a very simple charger cable (if you compare with original GW) .

Bummer that the strap isn't Titanium. I have a Titanium strap for my GW and it fells premium.

You should cover how the charger its suppose to work because it is flat, so can place the watch flat on top of it but obviously you cant do that with the titanium version. I still can't believe samsung missed that design flaw for the charger.

I haven’t seen the band by it’s own yet. It is hard to see on video but the titanium looks more “fly” but you are right if you put the band on stainless steel version nobody would see it unless you really look for it.

I just got one 2 days ago but unfortunately the strap fall off many times from one side, I don't know why, it should be the best watch .. but I think the straps pins is the weak point on my opinion but I am not sure if this issue only in my watch as factory error or in all watch .. the watch is great but the strap issue make me feel bad

It's good but horrendous battery, shame
That's surprises me. My brother got the 45mm stainless steel version to replace his GW and is getting better battery life on the same settings he used on the old one with the bigger battery. The battery is smaller but they've definitely made it a lot more efficient. I expected that to be honest as my 44mm Watch Active 2 has the same battery size and I get 3 days on my particular settings, and I had the GW watch and never got past 2 days. Of course that can vary depending on individual setups but it''s very good.

He actually screwed that part up. One of titanium's main differences is it's lighter material, not heavier. The reason it was heavier is the fact it has a STAINLESS STEEL band whereas the regular Watch 3 had a LEATHER band. Of course that makes it heavier.
a couple of things #1 thank you for watching #2 Video is called first impressions and many people don’t know that the band is not titanium, so we show what comes in the box #3 Once you have yours you can decide to customize it to your liking and put different bands on it. #4 we always leave some interesting factors for the full review. In any event thank you for sharing and don’t hesitate to share your experience with it.

Strap should be titanium and they should've included the standing charger that they gave with the original Galaxy watch. I can't believe they'd send a puck charger with such an expensive watch!

I say NAY. Who is going to know it's actually titanium unless you tell them (which I'm sure people who buy this watch will do) or they ask (which I don't really see that happening)? It doesn't even have LTE either. I'd rather pay for more functionality than esthetics. Samsung needs to do better.

after all those words and description and... unfortunately, it basically looks the same on camera. such a waste especially since they did not add sapphire glass or a nice light-weight titanium band. I think you could create a nicer custom combo with the regular watch 3 with 3rd party accessories.
