Borderlands 3 and TTW both are cases of "great core gameplay but with flaws that are hard to ignore". After a decent period away from the launch of both, I find that they are both more enjoyable now that my expectations and hype aren't in the way.
Especially BL3 I feel real held it back was the writing it was by far one of the most mechanically sound games and always feels amazing to play same with TTW it's so disappointing bc these games can have great writing hell they cut out one of the best scenes in bl3 and with TTW I feel it was just the argessive rng and partly the writing I felt the writting got better from bl3 but not by much
I think the best description of the series is that it is getting stale. Being honest, none of the games are bad, but they have gone stale. They aren’t taking enough risks yo innovate and the risks they do take are bad. And bad in a way that should have been caught in testing.
@@mythoceanas8874 BL3 had so many more varying weapon types compared to BL2 it was fresh air. The thing is TTW lost this, because of its setting its heavily limited to specific types of weapons and so we lost A LOT of the variation in legendaries/types/functionality on guns that we had in BL3, idk abt you but maybe its stale for you BL3 was a blast for me and truly one of the best Borderlands gun wise itll always be there.
@@simplyruben3184 if gun variety is what you want then yeah BL3 was up there. But I felt it lacked in to many other ways. For me gun Variety in the BL series never felt like a major issue.
I don’t think the “flaws” ruin the game. I usually don’t watch or listen to games review anymore. People hate everything or complain about the dumbest things. I am enjoying games again. (This is not a criticism of the reviewer, I just happen to post this here.
If this game had cost 30-40% less and had clear expectations for post launch support, it would be a cult classic. It's roughly half the size of a regular Borderlands game. It's a really fun little game that got marketed and priced like a huge release with a long support cycle and ongoing story content. That's really it. I still believe that Gearbox could breathe life into it with a Fight For Sanctuary style, free story DLC as an olive branch to fans.
I might be wrong but the pre sequel which was marketed as a spin-off, priced much lower.....offered more. I was motivated to farm BiS stuffs for my Athena and Nisha in Pre Sequel, done it and I still love to reset those char for brand new runs. I didn't find the motivation to farm in Wonderlands.
Honestly I felt that TTW was a better than 3 and had more varied maps. Yes it might be physically smaller in terms of space but TTW had more variety in how the maps looked. I was also pretty impressed with a lot of the side quests in the game too. It’s a little overpriced being $60 for the game and $10 per dlc expansion but all together could’ve been a fair $60 game. It’s a lot better than call of duty MW1/2/3 or Pokémon games. It’s also one of those games that look good and run excellent on PC, not common for games to do that these days especially when they’re not esports titles.
whenever you get the chance, start a new play through using the new redux. in my experience, this massively inproves endgame content, and farmable enemies feels real nice
Was about to comment the same thing. I played 1 playthrough with vanilla and installed Redux. Barely 30 hours played in vanilla. Already 100+ with Redux. A truly great mod.
It boggles my mind that there was so much enemy variety in BL2, including evolving enemies like Goliaths and Varkids, but that variety dried up for 3 and Wonderlands
What's funny to me (but understandable for those not familiar with decades of tabletop RPG clichés) is that he even put the dialog that explains it into this video.
I can see where you're coming from. I think if the game was 50% off in value, and had better transparency it would have landed better. Whoever thought PLC as content drops was a good idea, likely needs a good head shake. Seeing how it was marketed as a full priced AAA game, for half the size with reused assets, it felt like a scam. I said it before it came out "chaos chambers feels like budget diabolo" and so many jumped down my throat for saying that. Then 1 week of the games launch passed and that was a 180. They landed the story for sure and the writing was great for once, but everything else, to me, was a solid 3/10.
I was so mad they charged the new consoles ten extra dollars than pc or last gen consoles. Then they never bother adding new game plus or tvhm. Really worried about what’s next
Well made video man. Wonderlands had a TON of commendable things and you pointed that out very well. I do wish there was more to this game, but hopefully gearbox learned what needs to be done for BL4 to be great.
Good review but i felt find it funny how players today hate figuring things out, they need the game to hold there hand, one of the main reasons alot of games suck today
Ask someone who started my journey with Borderlands 2, and proceeded to complete the game exclusively with the mecromancer, I enjoyed Borderlands 2 for the most part. However Borderlands 2 has possibly the worst endgame balancing I have ever seen. So after beating the game and getting my character to level 56 I never played the game again. Borderlands 2 has a great first campaign completion but after that it becomes more about mid Max then actual fun. Still a fabulous game for your first campaign run. Borderlands 3 happens to be my most played Borderlands, I loved the Gunplay and the movement system tremendously, I thought the pacing was all right, and after all the DLC was added you have more than 600 hours of possible content in the game if you want 100% it. However for me I never played any character except for Moz, as every other character just didn't really sit with me. And while I think the gun play was fantastic, I do think the guns were a little lacking in some aspects. Especially the shotguns, while they fixed how long it takes you to reach max level and added a bunch of post levels to the game along with a Bookoo amount of Rewards, I think the game got boring for me after I completed it and put an extra 250 hours in. I became so strong and the game was so long that I never bothered to really do any of the massive amounts of content the game add outside of the main campaign and a few of the DLCs. Overall Borderlands 3 is a great starting point for anyone wanting to get into the Borderlands franchise. Tiny tina's wonderlands However might be my favorite Of the franchise. I think the Gunplay is still fabulous as always, they improved how guns function overall, they made the guns more varied overall, and they overhaul the World in general. The Overworld itself is by far the most interesting thing Borderlands has done in a while. Finally we get to create our own characters and make our own builds freely with the character creator. Finally we as players got to create our perfect builds rather than being limited to set specific characters. And the story is by far the most enjoyable to just relax to than any other Borderlands in my opinion. And I love how they don't take themselves seriously in this game, it makes for some very good scenarios and some very creative scenery. All I have to say on that is just view the magic Missile scene compared to some of the more impactful moments in the other games, that scene alone made me both laugh and go wow. I for one never really minded the shorter run time than the rest of the games, as even the first Borderlands only clocked in about 20 hours max without DLCs. It allows them to create more wacky and involved quests then if they were trying to fill the game out with 3000 + ones. And for me the boss fights and overall Encounters in the game are perfect, regardless if the DLCs are not that great, the core campaign is by far my favorite campaign out of Borderlands. This game Just Hits everything right for an average Borderlands fan, just maybe not the hardcore crowd. As for Borderlands 1 I've only played at once to completion and can't really say that I enjoy it too much. The pacing is too slow, the Gunplay is actually quite engrossing and the guns themselves feel and sound super powerful. However the Bland nature of the game, the slow pace, overall lack of build variety unless you want to exclusively play siren, and Incredibly difficult sections make the game hard to get into if you've played the other ones first. However the game is still worth playing and even those things the newer ones don't do quite as well extremely well but the lack of builds, the lack of characters that feel fun with plenty of variety, and the overall lack of things to do without DLC makes it one that I think you can pass unless you're a die-hard fan. Anyway those are my thoughts on the Borderlands franchise and I think anyone who has bothered to read this long comment on a RUclips video that I considered pretty good. Fantastic video and I hope you had a Merry Christmas.🎉
Great points here. BL2 balancing is busted in end game and I'm even going back to BL1 right now and can confirm it is bland and slow but somehow still fun. Thanks for sharing your thoughts it as nice to read about your experience with the franchise. Hope your holiday was great as well, thank you
Coming back to the game, I really enjoy it. Sadly, endgame is where it is at. I feel like I can get to the Chaos Chambers by level +20/-30. At that point, you are waiting to actually unlock good equipment. After that, its up to you to hit loot dice and increase your loot luck
Secret raid bosses hidden in chaos chambers was always the point of the endgame, including the tiny Tina boss fight at least in my opinion when I played.
Scott Frerichs is the voice actor for a majority of the skeletons, ribula and a handful of other voices in BL3. Also the inclusion of Andy Samberg was fantastic. I could take or leave Wanda Sikes but, she did well with Frette overall. Been replaying wonderlands recently and am having more fun this time around.
@@AncientPangolinGaming if you like him in this you should watch some of the stuff he did with team four star on youtube. Like DBZ abridged. He voices future trunks and other characters in it.
I found the enemy variety in the second half if the campagin much to be desired. The majority was Coiled for some reason. Also 3 themed water biomes back to back is somewhat bland.
I love roguelike games, so I guess I'm kinda lucky because running chaos chambers is a lot of fun to me, I enjoy the idea of my loot being on the line (I will alt f4 if I lose tho 100% lol). The raid bosses are a good idea, it just needs more. I'm newer to tiny tinas, but I feel like they could have added more unique bosses, more secret bosses, more curses/buffs, puzzles the higher your chaos lvls go, maybe even new maps and unique (not just tiers but like, actually unique) gear the higher you went, too. And I feel like they could have made zones on the map open up at certain chaos levels, maybe in coordination with the new bosses/maps that could appear in the chambers, to make everyone happier.
honestly on launch, i really did like wonderlands alot, i think it was great for what it is and i was expecting it to grow like BL3 did and become a really good game, ill be honest and say it went into a complete 180 since launch, its still fun but the 2 biggest glaring issues is still balancing and chaos chambers, its very hard to ignore the games gleaming flaws but i mean, technically it isnt a borderlands game and its amazing for what it is i just wish it wasnt ditched so early, apparently it got this horrible treatment because of the borderlands movie but honestly it is so simple to just look at the community and see what needs changes and realize that nobody wants 100 chaos levels, this game still technically has time to be fixed i mean, just rework most of the dlcs into something a bit more useful, rebalance the game and most importantly, rework the chaos chamber system, it could also have a chance to have late post release support but i doubt the devs would be willing
I've played borderlands 2 3 and the pre sequel and I was really hyped for this game but when it actually came out I didn't hear much about it at all so I forgot about it but now I'm replaying borderlands 2 and 3 and this video was in my recommended and it's honestly made me look forward to play it at some point i can take the good with the bad I like borderlands 3 for flip sake so ye thx for making me remember this game
its really fun to play. i waited for it to go on sale on steam and it was absolutely worth. the "dlc" was mediocre but its a really fun game that feels different than bl series.
The only thing I have to say is 'standard' is actually the terminology for a banner flag representing the symbol of an army/regiment/squad of the era, so the instructions in the game aren't completely unreasonable. However, they definitely should have put in an explanation for people who've never heard of the term before.
@@leadpaintchips9461 the dialog could be considered somewhat confusing as well, simply because the word standard is so far removed from bejng an object today people would take 'my standards' to mean something metaphysical. Like 'my standards of quality' or something. One would hope that within the context of a game the intentions were clear but watching youtubers play games for years has led me to the conclusion that a lot more people are a lot more dense then I had assumed and hand hold tutorials and codexs are not only justified but absolutely necessary (specially given the number who say they confidently know everything thumb through the tutorial, then have no idea what to do)
@@tenk2001 She said that they turned her standards into flags with his face on them. Spoken and written for the world to see when he first entered the area, that he also put into the video. The only way it would be more clear is if they do something that a lot of 'gamer' reviewers and discussions around games seem to dislike, handholding waypoint markers.
"Hey guys, I know I was critical of Wonderlands shortly after release. Was I too harsh? With the release of New Tales From the Borderlands, I realized things could be much, *MUCH* worse."
I loved Wonderlands but after reaching Chaos 50, the redundancy got to me and I quit playing it. Always felt it was unfinished or that something was missing (which turned out to be a lack of end game content).
I'm honestly shocked you hated the boss fights so much. As a longtime borderlands fan (literally thousands of hours) I thought it was the best part of the game by far, and the best boss fights in the series The bosses generally force you to focus on multiple things at once that you balance and rotate between, which puts me in a flow state much like how people describe Doom Eternal Dragon Lord for example, forces you to mind his moves, watch for the puddles on the ground, be aware of enemies (both for avoiding attacks and for second wind and also for health vials in case you get hit or get caught in the puddles), be aware of resources like health vials and ammo, and focus on the aspects of your build while also focus on aiming The second phase then adds another rotation for you, which is switching between Bernadette and Dragon Lord. You just shoot the one that isn't invincible I think Volcanora is a great example for this. When fighting Volcanora, you have to keep jumping the jets of fire, while also constantly rotating around the side to hit the critical spots. You also have enemies swooping down, which caused me to constantly watch the map to dodge them by sliding, or kill them for resources. You also have to watch out for unique moves that Volcanora does. And once your break all the critical spots on one side, you have to rotate the other way, which means you have to change your jump timings for the jets of flame For me, this game shines when you have to juggle multiple aspects at once while also going through all the cycles of your build. It just feels rewarding, and very flow inducing, to manage all the aspects at once for me Comparatively, bl3 boss fights didn't succeed at this for me (most of the time) because enemy gun attacks were very hard to deal with, and other aspects of the game that I don't fully understand. It just seemed way more strict and punishing Which brings me to that, personally, I found it much easier to understand what was going on in this game than bl3. If it didn't feel so easy to understand it all, I guess a boss like Dragon Lord would be overwhelming to me, but it all just comes more naturally That said, I don't like every boss. That coiled lady boss was annoying, and Dry'l is frustrating to dodge, and also shouldn't have a heal because that just gatekeeps play style variety by fucking over low fps builds Now I have my own problems with the game, that generally come down to a lack of content, lack of the iconic playable characters with personalities, and not really liking the setting. But I absolutely thought the gameplay was a step up
If you play Wonderlands 100% to have fun, and not try to always min-max the equipment and skills based on their stat numbers, it will be something you come back to. I started trying to get the "best" weapons and skills...but eventually just started using and trying more of the weapons and spells and had a lot more fun with the game and it's goofy storyline. Now I just play Wonderlands when I want to goof off. If I want to be serious, I play CS:GO.
I had the same problem with the mirror mission with the banners I lost 15-20 minutes trying to figure out what was going on until I saw a tutorial! But yeah I agree with you review they need to make some thing better in TTW or fix previous mistakes for a polished BL4
As a player that loves the Borderlands Series and recently picked up TTW as of a few days ago, I will say while i haven't gotten to the Dragon Lord fight yet of course i can deffinitely agree with your points about the fight taking a long time to defeat and it being rage-inducing, Well quite simply just pissing you and likely many other players off is a fair and valid point to be honest and of course the other bad parts it probably wont annoy me too much as i guess im not the kind of person who nit picks at every detail
thanks for watching. i hope you are enjoying the game. if not and youre on PC, the redux mod is free and fixes a LOT. might breathe new life into it also when youve completed it.
@@AncientPangolinGaming I am for what ive played of it so far, ill keep that redux mod in-mind either way the game sways me... Just nice to see you ended up coming back to re-review the game
I'm a newcomer to Wonderlands, and I gotta say my only REAL gripe mechanically is with melee and its STUPID auto-target camera that you just can not disable. The sheer amount of times the game forcibly threw my camera towards the ground or the sky to try to his my target FOR me is innumerable and infuriating. Making a melee Brr-Zerker a real pain.
felt exactly the same ,,,,,as all the borderlands games the start off really bad but get 100% better as you level up ,,,one of the most frustrating things is when you go down and you have to reload it takes so long ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you end up dying. over all loved all the games
On a Borderlands Review binge right now. I wanted to leave a comment because this review was really really good. Its very cool to see different prespectives of the fanbase and to hear a detailed opinion on them. Even though I havnt played the game, What really does sadden me though is the linear direction the story, gameplay and artstyle. Borderlands 3 primarily catered towards Endgame and hardcore players, who sit at max level farming gear for 220 hours, and TTW seems like an even more condensed version of that. To get into more detail, the story sounds...kinda pointless and ends just the same as BL3 and New Tales. "To be continued" Is getting really boring from Gearbox, becuase that seems to be their only way of marketing the next title. Not having any V.Hs sounds cool, but I dont play Borderlands to be anonymous(Or to play as myself), I play to be a character interacting with the world, going from zero to hero. Gameplay looks exactly the same as Borderlands 3 with a few added tweeks to keep players invested (Like the Pre-sequel. Heart was put into it but its still the same game) Ontop of that the enemies blend into the background too well, so often I dont notice them until I see bright sparks zooming at me. Guns are tweeked as well with little thought. Im being pushed around like a Piniata, having flashing lights smacking my screen and explosions that sound suspicious at best. And the Art Style. I cant put into words how much I dislike it. If they refined and polished the Art Style as much as they did the Gameplay, then this game would be insanely replayable (Like Bl2). I dont understand why the priority in Gearbox is presentation, not execution. Minor complaints are, Golds/Blues/Purples still seem a lot like Vendor trash, Sliding is still dumb, Loot is still rained down upon you but now it looks even more boring and pointless, Voice acting is over the top and not really borderlands. The lack of Creative vision in Wonderlands is also a massive annoyance. Dont compare it to the Pre-Sequel becuase that game was trying to fulfil an objective, Telling the Story of how Jack rose to power. Wonderlands sounded like all the cool, creative and fun concepts that wouldnt make sence or work in the Borderlands world, put into a board game, to actually work. Thanks for reading my overwhelmingly negative comment. I get that most of what I taked about is guesswork, and watching without trying, but please be honest how different is this from Borderlands 3? I havnt touched Bl3 in 3 years and in 12 months ive played the Pre-Sequel 11 times, i played it just yesterday. Modern Borderlands isnt for me, but that's okay becuase I have the older games that Ive already paid for. I dont need to wait, I just need time to play.
thank you so much for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it. and i dont mind reading your entire comment, it means a great deal you took the time to leave one. Nothing wrong with negative views, it just means we were hoping for more because we ultimately love the series. they cant all be bangers tho lol
BL3 is the worst for this. I went into the game files and removed all dialogue and cutscenes from the game so I can play the damned thing I stead of just playing for 5 minutes then running to get food while it plays an hour and a half of cutscenes and dialogue before I can play for 5 minutes and it all starts again. It's a much better game that way.
Does story and characters really matter in lootet shooters?? I dont think so, bl3 and ttw are the two best games in the franchise based on what really matters being the looting and the shooting
great idea. its on sale for half of semi-regularly but check on the season Steam sales too, theyre usually heavily discounted. also, dont forget theres a Redux mod out now too so thats adds a ton of replayability
As far as gameplay, progression/loot and exploration/level deign go, both borderlands 3 and tiny tinas wonderlands are the two best games in the franchise, i mean these are looter shooters, imo the only two things that really matter are the looting and the shooting
just in regards to the video! excellent job! you definitely earned a subscribe! im excited to give the game a try at some point but as for now im still enjoying BL3 and with this game being much smaller in scale and for the same price as a normal aaa title i just dont think its at the top of my priorities after watching your video! ill keep it at the forefront of my considerations once ive cleared some of the games ive been waiting for such as fires of rubicon and starfield but for now TTW will have to stay on the back burner!
My biggest issue is how the game is outright just missing multiple playthroughs (True Vault Hunter/Ultimate Vault Hunter, etc) i want to experience the game again, but with my skills and build, every other Borderlands since the first one has had it The other is how melee feels like an afterthought half of the times (From the fact a lot of enemies were designed to throw you away with their melees or be completely out of range and there being no counter to that except for being forced to use a class) Or the fact melee damage just isn't enough on it's own. Whenever you see Melee builds without Stabbomancer (Reminder there's two other melee classes) they always rely on every other damage type. (like fairies, hydras) I like the game as a base, but the direction and balancing isn't good or enjoyable. The game forces you down to the Chaos Chambers, which in my opinion ARE low quality. They're just kinda randomized slop with a choice of one of 2 debuffs (God forbid the game decides to give you two debuffs that ruin your build entirely or that are just obnoxious and impractical) Also yeah, a lot of the bossess are just obnoxious and feel very damage trade-y, so it's more up to how fast your build regens your health than being able to counter act the bosses' attacks. Wonderlands is a game that I come back to, enjoy it, then the more I play the more frustrated I get with the issues until I just quit.
You think if there was a WL2 you'd try out? I think I would at this point and your points seem like things that could be addressed in a new game. I'd never pre order again but I guess that doesn't rule out day 1 buys technically.
@@AncientPangolinGaming TLDR: I probably would but in a sale long after release since a lot of the updates make the game worse. The new era of Borderlands has a lot of things I consider to be inherently terrible, not a fan of Randy and I lost a bit of trust in Gearbox. No hate to the Devs, they're doing as good of a job as they can. Going a bit in depth: The issue with modern Borderlands games is that they get changed substantially after release (And imo it has been for the worse) Wonderlands has the 100 Chaos levels, BL3 had Mayhem 2.0, while Mayhem 11, I think, is good (Mostly because it's just Mayhem mode without Mayhem mode lol) it completely ruined the balancing that we had with the original Mayhem mode. Example: Moze's Green Monster class mod is one of two that makes Bottomless Mags focused builds work (Aka no Iron Bear and no Splash) but it came out before Mayhem 2.0 and the damage was never scaled. Meanwhile Moze got a buttload of Iron Bear class mods for no good reason (And even a new iron bear skill) My point being, they seem to have a tendency to get worse with updates, and so it's risky to buy them early on since they also don't communicate at all on what their plans are and don't seem willing to take back their updates even with community backlash (Which was the case with Chaos levels and the DLC debacle) I fell in love with a lot of things this game has to offer, going in photo mode and just seeing a character I made holding a giant sword in a cool outfit is, alone, an incredible feature we didn't need but is there, all those little details help me love what this game could be. The game is kinda hit or miss in terms of writing, but I remember thinking "This game proves BL3 story's and the new writing team's writing skills being a complete failure was an anomaly, not a standard" (Until New Tales, that is) I'm also not a fan of how they turned a lot of the loot into destiny-esque number slop? Say: Class mods in 1, 2 and The Pre Sequel were there to guide your builds with their stats, even if it wasn't obvious. Example: Wilhelm's scorcher. Increases incendiary damage in a character that doesn't have almost any elemental focused skills. It increases gun and laser damage too. Then you remember, Vengeance Cannon is calculated as an incendiary laser gun, and that class mod gives it the higher possible damage it can achieve. That's when it all clicks. I used to love that. In BL3 and Wonderlands you're just looking for random stats and an anointment/enchantment that'll make the gun actually usable. I really hate that, personally. Other than that, the only things that'd stop me from buying a Wonderlands 2 or Borderlands 4 are my issues with trust on Gearbox, their new writers and the whole thing with Randy not stepping down in spite of the allegations, even when important people (Like claptrap's voice actor) left because of him. Sorry for the long reply lol
It's all down to the endgame. I loved the main campaign but there is no substitute for a true campaign like DLC in a borderlands franchise game and paying more to get the season pass along with the game and finding out there is no real DLC in the season pass makes me feel ripped off. And it didn't take long to burn out on the chaos chamber, especially when they kept dangling the add more levels carrot before you can enjoy having top tier gear. That's why I'll never buy another gearbox game at launch again. I'll wait until it's on sale but only if I don't hear about any grumblings from the borderlands community about another big let down.
I can run BL3 at 60 fps with little to no drops while the game looks good, on the same exact computer I have to run the game on the lowest settings to even hit 40 fps but mostly its 20-30, I refunded the game and went back to BL3, absolutely bewildered by this, I exceed the recommended specs on Wonderlands by a decent amount so I don't understand why I can't hit 60 fps semi-consistantly. I love the idea of the Chaos Chambers and if they were in BL3 I think they would be much more loved since BL3 had a shit ton of other endgame content to do, so you could spice it up. I love randomized endgame content, its a staple in any ARPG and should've been in Borderlands a long time ago but I just wish it wasn't the only thing to do
great point. i honestly think there is too much RNG calculation going on for every interaction if you consider how many particle effects, enemies, and drop variations out there. plus optimization takes time and i feel like the devs werent given enough before having to move on to the next project.
i remember when it first came out i was excited i played it for an hour and a half and i never touched it again it felt boring and it didn't feel like i was having fun compared to borderland 2, 3, and the pre sequel and i recently started playing it again and if feels a little more fun compared to last year but i still don't feel the same entertainment from the borderlands games
@@AncientPangolinGaming well it’s too late for me to but it on sale i preordered the deluxe edition when it was first coming out i’ve been playing recently and it’s pretty fun lately
It is not bad game, yes it is re-dressed, re-skinned of Borderlands 3 but it is not bad. I like dialog between Tina, Valentine and Frette, and even other characters, its quite funny. I mean i was laughing crazy when Brick shows as fairy (ups spoilers) It is not perfect game, nope but it is fun.
if you can believe it, i just bought this on steam 2 or 3 days ago lol. im glad you like it for what it is and for $20, i think it was a steal to get on steam for the achievements etc.
@@AncientPangolinGaming Indeed. Game may not be the best in Borderland series but darn it it is fun. Much much better than Borderlands 3. I could not stand those annoying calypso twins but Dragon Lord, darn he have some quite good quotes:)
i replay it and i have a lot fun with. I like the Fantasy Settting and Tina as well ^^ Playing at chaos 55, used a save editor to resetting all Quests by my main Chara: nothing else. As i want to farm for that sweet loot myself) The Story is funny, the details, also the worldsetting is neat made. It is a fine Game , even the endgame content is different then the BL Games. Yes it would be cool to be able to reset the Quests like in BL. (so we must use a editor) But hey, i still have a blast, even played BL2 & 3 a bit harder out.
I actually LOVED Wonderlands when it first came out. The characters, the weapons, the game play, the look of the game. EVERYTHING was amazing!!!! But I was SO disappointed by the literal NO DLC content at the games end. I bought ther Season Pass thinking that I'd have the same experience I did with BL2 and 3. Boy was I WRONG!!!! I felt so USED!!!!! For me the Magic Mirrors were just repeat bad guys again and again and again and again!!!! And the Chaos Chamber was so boring...for the same reason. Just running around and shooting the same monsters over and over and over. I wanted NEW story content which could have been sooooo cool. I wanted missions with Brick and Morty etc etc and got NONE of that!!!! It really pissed me off and I haven't been back since. It totally soured me on coming back. It was a HUGE missed opportunity. If they had given me, and let's face it, what we ALL wanted then I'd probably still be playing WL like I did BLs 2 and 3. Until they change their minds and give us REAL DLC content, and I know they won't, then I won't be back. Looking for BL4.
This game was ok, the chaos levels is what killed it for me, it completely burned me out on the game. I got to level 50, theres no fricken way in hell im doing it another 50 times.
I was really excited about this 'spin off', which was a full blown game on its own. The sheer creativity is basically unheard of in AAA games these days. But that's all on paper. Because it has the exact same problem that BL3 introduced which is, although there's plenty of ways to obtain loot, the drops are always the same! Meaning that, no matter what you're doing, the result always feels the same. This greatly discourages doing any side content, let alone bothering with those cute but pointless random encounters, and certainly not obtaining keys for those castles! Moreover, the game is stretched really far by including all this meaningless content, making the game super repetetive. The art, level design and gunwork have been well worked, but they forgot about connected all these features together. That said, I couldn't even get past roughly level 25 before getting bored to death. So I have no idea if end game is much better, but spending 20 hours in a game to find the meat is not exactly ideal!
I enjoyed BL3 alot, but wonderlands felt so empty, and over the top with shity humor and character...I preorderd ultimate edition, and passed maybe 20% of game. Tryed it 3 more times later and same feeling..I hate that game
Everything about WL and BL3 makes my head hurt. I went back to BL3 as well as trying WL and so many small things annoyed me. The guns being so fat with the viewmodel being so close to the screen made me have to download a mod to not feel sick. The dialogue was so grating I had to download another mod in BL3 to skip dialogue, I've already have played it before. As well as the menu being slow to navigate. I eventually refunded WL as there was no fun in it for me. GEARBOX please make us be able to rotate the map with Q and E in the map screen so i don't need to drag my mouse 1000 times.
This is just a the best example of hype is good for them not for you. Dont by brand new if thier isn't a roadmap being followed. Payed 25. Was worth 25. Still got annoyed fast.
just goes to show you that sometimes you gotta have patience with new releases. this would be less of a problem if game studios would just push back their release dates. the fans probably don't even realize that a good portion of why the game is bad is do to the fans yelling at game companies to hurry up and put it out.... Maybe 🤔
I have and always will stand by this game. It was so grossly underrated it literally made me sick. Also, enemies are better. Harder to kill. They arent made to be killed for their drops. They are made to be a challenge. Like a boss should be. Why I loved* it 💜💙
Great vid. I’ve been playing on and off since launch (only at chaos 40 with my main, not super seriously) and have had fun the whole time. Certainly there are issues but I think people criticized it for not being the game they expected as opposed to being good/bad
I bought the game several weeks back and did every mission. I HATED the story and the characters. Gameplay was good, like you said, but borderlands games to me are much more about the world and characters. This game was horrible on that aspect, I cringed so hard, that at one point I had to mute the game while playing because I couldn't stand it anymore. The only character I found intresting was the dragon lord and the only joke I found funny was the magic missile blowing up the ocean. Everything else was so bad, I struggled to finish the game. You better believe that I was not invested enough to spend more time doing endgame
that sucks but a very fair point...while shorter, there were some cringier parts than BL3. if youre on PC maybe try out the redux mod? it fixes a lot. thank you for watching
Currently playing it for the first time with a friend of mine, we're about 30 hours in, we're doing a 100% (as I've done with all BL games). I'm a huge fan (Legends, 1, 2, 3, Pre-Sequel, both Tales, the comics, merch, I love BL) and he's more of a newcomer, he's only played BL1 for about 10 hours. We both hate Wonderlands, we find it dreadful. Terrible hitboxes and attention to detail on level design (have never fallen through the map or casually ended up out of bounds on any other BL game like I have here), collectibles are boring, side quests are repetitive and shallow, the plot and cast are generic and uninteresting, the gameplay is BL3 but worse and less responsive, frame rate is horrible and so is the texture loading (it will take 5-20 seconds for an asset to load properly once you get close to it), boring guns that never fail to make us sigh (the entire looting system in this game leaves much to be desired), enemies have bad AI and make for some truly unimaginative combat scenarios. Worst of all to me personally as a fan is how much of a time waster it feels. NOTHING is happening, unironically nothing is happening, straight up. No arcs are untangling, no mysteries to be solved, no character growth, barely if any expanding of the BL universe and its lore, there barely is a narrative MacGuffin to follow, this game doesn't even meet the mere basics of a passable game, it's the most nothing burger game I've ever played. Even the DLC for this game are bad and outrageously priced. At the very least Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep (clearly this game's spiritual predecessor) used its in-universe fictional and seemingly unimportant setting to deconstruct its characters and provide a somewhat emotionally charged experience, compared to that DLC this game is an absolute embarassment. Never thought anything could disappoint me more than BL3 but then Wonderlands came out (I also couldn't think anything could disappoint me more than Wonderlands but the New Tales came out but that's a different conversation entirely).
Endgame was a huge disappointment. The final nail for me was the laughable DLC. The D&D game they spent a whole game poking fun at has modular adventures that you could have used for straight DLC. This was the perfect setup for them to slap in $10 DLCs till the end of time but they went with the mirrors
I like borderlands gameplay well enough but think their too big and bloated for their own good (sp), but I feel like ttw adds enough change up and tightens it up to where I like it, so far, much more than borderland 3.
I'm 30 hours in the game and think that could be enough to justify a $70 price tag. Saying that when I got the game on PS+ might be weird but if this was $70 I would still be happy. I don't get why so many games get trashed for having a bad end game. Isn't 35 hours of awsome B&B action enough. Although the final boss looks hell for a melee build. Everything is flying.
Man that final boss is a nightmare even without melee lol. Glad you enjoy the game. I've actually just bought it again on steam and can't stop playing. Really weird
hot take, i think tiny tinas was better put together and had more charm than borderlands 3. it was the same mechanics but felt so much different and i didnt notice until i played tiny tinas for weeks then went back to bl3.
For me borderlands is about the end game and no other borderlands does that the best then bl3 even if I don't play it every day sometimes I get the itch for a looter shooter and I go play bl3 and have fun
The game is complete dogshit, solid gameplay but that’s it, if you genuinely enjoy the writing/characters/story in this or 3, you shouldn’t be able to vote
I bought the game for like 20 bucks with all the dlc and everything and I actually really enjoyed it. It’s story was more fun then BL3 as well and the gameplay was just as good. The dlc is TRASH as hell though. Worst dlc content ever. Headhunter packs were more intriguing and much cheaper. This game is exactly what the pre sequel was to Borderlands 2. More of what you’d expect but in a smaller more digestible package with a couple of its own quirks to make it just different enough from its predecessor. I would really like to see another wonderlands game but with actual dlc content and maybe a little more length similar to a normal borderlands game. Like where’s the true vault hunter mode? I really am expected to farm vending machines to re obtain quest rewards and that’s annoying
I feel this. At one point after my 2nd play through I thought "well now I'm kind of bored" and put it down for awhile. Now I'm back at it and an loving this game now that I understand it better
thats awesome. have you thought about trying the other games? they are on sale FREQUENTLY so if the price is an issue just wait a bit and itll be on sale. if you liked WL, then BL3 will be the closest experience to that, if you have to choose between the other games. BL1 is VERY slow compared to all of the other games so keep that in mind if you ever wanna try it. theres a bit of fun there but really BL2 and up are probably going to be the best representation of the franchise. also, i dont know if youre on PC or not but if so all the games have plenty of mods available too so you can make the game basically what you want.
How did u get infected with toxic positivity? This is a bad game. U and the Stream Team are the only people even saying these gaslighting lies. No one is playing this. Millions of long time fans still say they were decieved and milked in a blatent cash grab. A very lazy cash grab. I thought Lazy Data was bad. And he is. But u r just sad.
Thank you for the feedback. I'm still trying to find my voice and cadence. Hopefully you'll give me another chance with my next video but if not that's totally cool. Audio is the #1 reason I bounce from videos too.
Guy doesn’t like dying in a video game. No shit. But it wouldn’t be fun if I didn’t die either. “Boss fight is absurd”, yeah that’s a boss fight my guy. Most games are easy as hell like BL3 boss fights don’t even need a whole squad or hype for a single boss fight. The fact that they’re giving us a challenge now means a lot and if you don’t like the challenge then don’t play the game idk what to tell you
Borderlands 3 and TTW both are cases of "great core gameplay but with flaws that are hard to ignore".
Great point
Although the game was pretty much developed throughout the pandemic, these are fair points! Could have been lower price tag...
I might be wrong but the pre sequel which was marketed as a spin-off, priced much lower.....offered more.
I was motivated to farm BiS stuffs for my Athena and Nisha in Pre Sequel, done it and I still love to reset those char for brand new runs.
I didn't find the motivation to farm in Wonderlands.
both the presequel and wonderlads are good DLCs sold as a full game experience. they should brand them as expansions.
It really does. The mobility alone with double jump, air dash and no speed penalty on sliding is a gamechanger.
Was about to comment the same thing. I played 1 playthrough with vanilla and installed Redux.
Barely 30 hours played in vanilla.
Already 100+ with Redux.
A truly great mod.
It boggles my mind that there was so much enemy variety in BL2, including evolving enemies like Goliaths and Varkids, but that variety dried up for 3 and Wonderlands
what? all i saw was loaders
Goliaths and varkids are in bl3????
😂
@@boguinator😂
As someone who still semi activly plays this game my biggest issues are ui and chaos chambers still being the only endgame a year later
chaos chamber these nuts in your mouth you loser
The lack of Borderlands blood & gore is disappointing.
A flag or banner can be referred to as a standard, and it says in the dialog to deal with them. I completely agree with the rest of this video.
Thank you yeah i guess I missed that and was blinded by frustration at that point. Thanks for watching have a good one
What's funny to me (but understandable for those not familiar with decades of tabletop RPG clichés) is that he even put the dialog that explains it into this video.
Thanks! I'm sad there hasn't been any good DLC rollouts to keep us excited. I paid a lot up front, expecting more.
@Captain Crunch Imma be honest, I don't think there is a "next" pretty sure it's over.
the corporatewhore managers are always what ruins games.
@@Bflattened bl4 is already I the works and wonderlands is becoming its own off shoot franchise
definitely a disapointing entry. some good stuff, some bad. all will make BL4 shred harder IMO
Well made video man. Wonderlands had a TON of commendable things and you pointed that out very well.
I do wish there was more to this game, but hopefully gearbox learned what needs to be done for BL4 to be great.
Thanks for watching dude, hope you're well
Good review but i felt find it funny how players today hate figuring things out, they need the game to hold there hand, one of the main reasons alot of games suck today
That's fair. I'm really impatient so that doesn't help. Thanks for watching
@@AncientPangolinGaming I don't think it's just you it's most of society is very impatient today
"I am a talking skeleton ! Wooooo scary ! So scared !"
How do you only have a couple subs thats not ok with how well this video is made you deserve way more
Thank you for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Thank you for mentioning the skeleton dude! He was awesome lol
Wonderlands is by FAR my favorite borderlands game
I really hope wonderlands isn't dropped and we get a sequel. There's so much potential
same here. At first I was certain there'd be only one game but now I'm not so sure
They did, and he even showed the dialog that explains it in the video at 10:31 .
With the release of New Tales From the Borderlands, I realized things could be much, *MUCH* worse."
haha basically. perspective is always important. we had it too good with Borderlands 3
I've recently been doing a playthrough of this game and in gotta say that damn mission with the flags got my ass as well lol
thank you! haha
I loved Wonderlands but after reaching Chaos 50, the redundancy got to me and I quit playing it. Always felt it was unfinished or that something was missing (which turned out to be a lack of end game content).
Yeah even for this revisit I had to stop around 75. It was just too repetitive. Thanks for watching have a good one
I'm honestly shocked you hated the boss fights so much. As a longtime borderlands fan (literally thousands of hours) I thought it was the best part of the game by far, and the best boss fights in the series
The bosses generally force you to focus on multiple things at once that you balance and rotate between, which puts me in a flow state much like how people describe Doom Eternal
Dragon Lord for example, forces you to mind his moves, watch for the puddles on the ground, be aware of enemies (both for avoiding attacks and for second wind and also for health vials in case you get hit or get caught in the puddles), be aware of resources like health vials and ammo, and focus on the aspects of your build while also focus on aiming
The second phase then adds another rotation for you, which is switching between Bernadette and Dragon Lord. You just shoot the one that isn't invincible
I think Volcanora is a great example for this. And once your break all the critical spots on one side, you have to rotate the other way, which means you have to change your jump timings for the jets of flame
For me, this game shines when you have to juggle multiple aspects at once while also going through all the cycles of your build. It just feels rewarding, and very flow inducing, to manage all the aspects at once for me
Comparatively, bl3 boss fights didn't succeed at this for me (most of the time) because enemy gun attacks were very hard to deal with, and other aspects of the game that I don't fully understand. It just seemed way more strict and punishing
Which brings me to that, personally, I found it much easier to understand what was going on in this game than bl3. If it didn't feel so easy to understand it all, I guess a boss like Dragon Lord would be overwhelming to me, but it all just comes more naturally
That said, I don't like every boss. That coiled lady boss was annoying, and Dry'l is frustrating to dodge, and also shouldn't have a heal because that just gatekeeps play style variety by fucking over low fps builds
Now I have my own problems with the game, that generally come down to a lack of content, lack of the iconic playable characters with personalities, and not really liking the setting. But I absolutely thought the gameplay was a step up
i have an issue with patience...i dont have any. I saw them as being just somewhat random and frustrating at times. Prolly a skill issue 😆
Redux just came out !
yes!!!! its awesome too
I had the same problem with the mirror mission with the banners I lost 15-20 minutes trying to figure out what was going on until I saw a tutorial! But yeah I agree with you review they need to make some thing better in TTW or fix previous mistakes for a polished BL4
Same with DL and most boss fights. I don't do CC runs except for those that I already know the final boss
Wait the game is only 1 year old? Feels older than that for some reason.
Really good well balanced review
Thanks for watching
I'm a newcomer to Wonderlands, and I gotta say my only REAL gripe mechanically is with melee and its STUPID auto-target camera that you just can not disable. The sheer amount of times the game forcibly threw my camera towards the ground or the sky to try to his my target FOR me is innumerable and infuriating. Making a melee Brr-Zerker a real pain.
i thought melee was OK for a first iteration but im guessing itll be a bit more fluid in BL4 if all goes well
Spicy water is the worst. Fair review. Thank you
The worst is dying from spicy water after you just killed your last trash mob. Pain
felt exactly the same ,,,,,as all the borderlands games the start off really bad but get 100% better as you level up ,,,one of the most frustrating things is when you go down and you have to reload it takes so long ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you end up dying. over all loved all the games
Nothing wrong with negative views, it just means we were hoping for more because we ultimately love the series. they cant all be bangers tho lol
i cannot stand the fact that theres still no dialogue skip in these games i hate standing there for 5mins trying to level up another character
@Anthony Pendergrass oh you can do that?? I might have to do that too
@@Lord_necromancer a 100% dialogue skip for BL3 was just introduced as a mod for PC!
@@Lord_necromancer and the story was just sooooo drawn out. it is a camPAIN for sure
agreed. hopefully there will be some mercy in BL4
I didn't play WL yet,
I'll try
Try it out, it's a lot of fun
@@AncientPangolinGaming Next in my list Immortals of Aveum and then... maybe WL
Does story and characters really matter in lootet shooters?? I dont think so, bl3 and ttw are the two best games in the franchise based on what really matters being the looting and the shooting
Great review!
Thanks for watching
Wonderland’s may have one of the best campaigns in the series, but it falls apart at end game. I say it’s at least good for a playthrough.
I'm just waiting for a really good sale to get all the content at a good price
great idea. its on sale for half of semi-regularly but check on the season Steam sales too, theyre usually heavily discounted. also, dont forget theres a Redux mod out now too so thats adds a ton of replayability
Thank you for the kind words, glad you are enjoying BL3. The latest update was a really nice surprise especially for the game turning 4 this month.
6:07 as a player of enter the gungeon and the binding of isaac, that sounds terrible, I better play EtG or TBoI
a fellow rogue like hater...great to have you here :)
My biggest issue is how the game is outright just missing multiple playthroughs (True Vault Hunter/Ultimate Vault Hunter, etc) i want to experience the game again, but with my skills and build, every other Borderlands since the first one has had it
The other is how melee feels like an afterthought half of the times (From the fact a lot of enemies were designed to throw you away with their melees or be completely out of range and there being no counter to that except for being forced to use a class)
Or the fact melee damage just isn't enough on it's own. Whenever you see Melee builds without Stabbomancer (Reminder there's two other melee classes) they always rely on every other damage type. (like fairies, hydras)
I like the game as a base, but the direction and balancing isn't good or enjoyable.
The game forces you down to the Chaos Chambers, which in my opinion ARE low quality.
They're just kinda randomized slop with a choice of one of 2 debuffs (God forbid the game decides to give you two debuffs that ruin your build entirely or that are just obnoxious and impractical)
Also yeah, a lot of the bossess are just obnoxious and feel very damage trade-y, so it's more up to how fast your build regens your health than being able to counter act the bosses' attacks.
@@AncientPangolinGaming
TLDR: I probably would but in a sale long after release since a lot of the updates make the game worse.
The new era of Borderlands has a lot of things I consider to be inherently terrible, not a fan of Randy and I lost a bit of trust in Gearbox. No hate to the Devs, they're doing as good of a job as they can.
Going a bit in depth:
The issue with modern Borderlands games is that they get changed substantially after release (And imo it has been for the worse)
Wonderlands has the 100 Chaos levels, BL3 had Mayhem 2.0, while Mayhem 11, I think, is good (Mostly because it's just Mayhem mode without Mayhem mode lol) it completely ruined the balancing that we had with the original Mayhem mode.
Example: Moze's Green Monster class mod is one of two that makes Bottomless Mags focused builds work (Aka no Iron Bear and no Splash) but it came out before Mayhem 2.0 and the damage was never scaled.
Meanwhile Moze got a buttload of Iron Bear class mods for no good reason (And even a new iron bear skill)
My point being, they seem to have a tendency to get worse with updates, and so it's risky to buy them early on since they also don't communicate at all on what their plans are and don't seem willing to take back their updates even with community backlash (Which was the case with Chaos levels and the DLC debacle)
I fell in love with a lot of things this game has to offer, going in photo mode and just seeing a character I made holding a giant sword in a cool outfit is, alone, an incredible feature we didn't need but is there, all those little details help me love what this game could be.
The game is kinda hit or miss in terms of writing, but I remember thinking "This game proves BL3 story's and the new writing team's writing skills being a complete failure was an anomaly, not a standard" (Until New Tales, that is)
I'm also not a fan of how they turned a lot of the loot into destiny-esque number slop?
I'll wait until it's on sale but only if I don't hear about any grumblings from the borderlands community about another big let down.
it kinda feels like they ran out of steam towards the end of development and said "thatll do" and it shows. BL4 will be better tho lol
Maybe try it again when it's on sale? They There's also a huge redux mod for it if you are on PC
@@AncientPangolinGaming well it’s too late for me to but it on sale i preordered the deluxe edition when it was first coming out i’ve been playing recently and it’s pretty fun lately
Post launch content was my biggest disappointment
We needed a story dlc to deepen lore.
Definitely agree
I like the Fantasy Settting and Tina as well ^^
Playing at chaos 55, used a save editor to resetting all Quests by my main Chara: nothing else.
As i want to farm for that sweet loot myself)
The Story is funny, the details, also the worldsetting is neat made.
It is a fine Game , even the endgame content is different then the BL Games.
Yes it would be cool to be able to reset the Quests like in BL.
(so we must use a editor)
But hey, i still have a blast, even played BL2 & 3 a bit harder out.
Looking for BL4.
if youre on PC, theres a redux mod for it that might help you enjoy it again. give it a shot, its free.
ima be honest never died i used dark magican companion build u are a tank with that build
Grave/Spore?
Quaking Sunder is Meta - Meta Fun LOL
Yes - it's got its issues, but it's a much better game now
This is just a the best example of hype is good for them not for you.
Maybe 🤔
Good point
I have and always will stand by this game. It was so grossly underrated it literally made me sick.
Also, enemies are better. Harder to kill. They arent made to be killed for their drops. They are made to be a challenge. Like a boss should be. Why I loved* it 💜💙
Cat you are definitely an inspiration for this video. Thanks so much
@@AncientPangolinGaming 😭 this makes me so happy! Ty! 💜💙💛 amazing video! Love that ya revisited & are HONEST about how ya feel.
The enemies are better but the weapons are worse
@@MILDMONSTER1234 truthfully I have no prob. There are plenty of beautiful weapons in the game.
Yes flags are called standards, that's not really the games fault
true. im not very cultured 😆
This is a great game. Every Borderlands as well.
Great vid. I’ve been playing on and off since launch (only at chaos 40 with my main, not super seriously) and have had fun the whole time. Certainly there are issues but I think people criticized it for not being the game they expected as opposed to being good/bad
That's what games are all about...fun. This is a great example. Thanks for watching have a good one
@@AncientPangolinGaming
I don't know the redux mod. I'll check it out. Thanks!
They were actually correct with the standards thing and "modern design" approach is wrong.
I didn’t like how the narrative played out. Just felt bland compared to tps 1 bdl2
😎👍
Never thought anything could disappoint me more than BL3 but then Wonderlands came out (I also couldn't think anything could disappoint me more than Wonderlands but the New Tales came out but that's a different conversation entirely).
i never thought about the hitbox issue but youre right. its happened to me but i thought it was a skill issue or i was going crazy 😆
Endgame was a huge disappointment. The final nail for me was the laughable DLC. The D&D game they spent a whole game poking fun at has modular adventures that you could have used for straight DLC. This was the perfect setup for them to slap in $10 DLCs till the end of time but they went with the mirrors
I can wreck dragon lords pvssy a$$. Use a good sawblades spell and a gloomy vengenge dark magic ar
hmmm. never really got down with the sawblades. ill try that out
Best game of thae last two or three years ❤
when you said that part of the 4th mirror damn all the dlcs are absolutely TERRIBLE in my opinion especially if you played bl3 dlcs
yeah comparison is the thief of joy and we really had it good with BL3
You are welcome guys.
Thank you buddy. It only took 3 years but we found something you were right about.
hot take, i think tiny tinas was better put together and had more charm than borderlands 3. it was the same mechanics but felt so much different and i didnt notice until i played tiny tinas for weeks then went back to bl3.
i swear someone in management cut a ton of content for this game. or tiny tinas was a passion project and didnt make enough to get more dlc.
dragonlord is still confusing to me. i still dont understand what i should do when bernie shows up.
@@eddiebernays514 same! so frustrating
It offers one good play through and shit dlc.
I really am expected to farm vending machines to re obtain quest rewards and that’s annoying
my first playthrough was awesome, story was great, but after that the game fell apart
I feel this. At one point after my 2nd play through I thought "well now I'm kind of bored" and put it down for awhile. Now I'm back at it and an loving this game now that I understand it better
wonderlands was my first borderlands game and i love it
thats awesome. have you thought about trying the other games? they are on sale FREQUENTLY so if the price is an issue just wait a bit and itll be on sale. if you liked WL, then BL3 will be the closest experience to that, if you have to choose between the other games.
@@AncientPangolinGaming Ive played them all now Wonderlands is still my favorite on the grounds of character creation alone
How did u get infected with toxic positivity? This is a bad game. U and the Stream Team are the only people even saying these gaslighting lies. No one is playing this. BL3 ------------------> TTWL
ill never understand how people didnt like this game.
its definitely better than borderlands 3 ha
im glad you liked it. its grown on me but i think i was expecting something different and that really isnt the game's fault.
Way to woke for me.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm still trying to find my voice and cadence. Hopefully you'll give me another chance with my next video but if not that's totally cool. Audio is the #1 reason I bounce from videos too.
You can't be serious that you didn't know what the "destroy the standarts" mission meant, have you played no other games ?
You forgot the most annoying part of the game... The stupid over-world game board bullshit.
i think i briefly mentioned this yet but youre totally right. it was SO SLOW it drove me nuts. and that stupid camera. im getting heated again lol
The fact that they’re giving us a challenge now means a lot and if you don’t like the challenge then don’t play the game idk what to tell you
still bad.
What's up with the framerate? What would you say is the average?
