Yeah I don't know about setting it up exactly like this but.... having a dock for this specific thing... that I could just plug into and play or unplug and go portable is amazing.
You've got some good sim hardware, if you ever wanted a rigid cockpit with no flex I'd consider checking out the Trak Racer TR80. Great piece of kit for the price.
Glad yours is working! I suspect it's a driver issue with my Fanatec equipment. Even on Windows you need to install their software/driver to get everything working ok.
@@milanbeentjes1 I have had no issues with it. It works like you would expect a computer to work (a little tinkering is needed sometimes, but nothing major). I don't have a shifter, so I don't know about that one, but it is a PC, so it should work. It has even better performance if you have an external hdd lying around that you can install windows on and plug in whenever you want to race. It's what I have been doing lately and it's great
How did you plug the wheel and pedals to the deck? I had seen a few months ago that someone tried to connect a docking base to it and bricked. They contacted Steam and was told not to do that and wait for the docking base coming out later this year. I do not know what the end result was in regards to replacing his Steam Deck or not. To me this makes a great backup device if your simrig pc goes down in the middle of an online race or something (having previously experienced this myself within the last year). I as well have the NLR F-GT Lite with a thrustmaster t500 and a dd1 formula v2 and huesinkveld sprints. Connect8ng this to a bigger screen like your tv with the simrig is how I would go about this.
I hook up to a TV fairly frequently to play local multiplayer games and I've been using this dongle while I wait for the official dock to release: amzn.to/3vSgEas (Amazon Affiliate Link)

That monitor is bigger than my future...

You could use 2 monitors at the same time in a game? Thanks
Are you sure you did everything properly? I get force feedback just fine on a Logitech Driving Force GT

I'm not sure if I should buy. does it work well with a steering wheel if so also with a shifter?

Will it work the same way with a Logitech g29
I can't say for sure, but you'll probably have better luck than I did since Logitech gear is a lot more commonly supported
