I gotta admit, there was a large part of me that was sure the video was going to start with "Today I filled this nylon-string acoustic with gasoline and lit it on fire, and the results sound really cool." Another amazing tune, Bernth!
My favorite guitarist of novadays. He has not only perfect technique but musican intellect as well. His playstile not like a non-stop drill but true Music. Respect Bernth. You are the best.
One of the BEST guitarists on the EARTH, for real. And he has such a down to Earth friendly disposition, great attitude, and awesome tips!! SOUNDS AWESOME BERNTH!! YOU RULE!!
I'm always more impressed by the person who created it, many people can and do copy things others have done, creating something is special because the creator is the innovator.
There is so much that goes on it’s hard to conceive - Bernth you are a sonic inspiration- so clean and simple yet so fabulously articulate and timeless - total mastery- the wizard of Vienna - all hail 👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏🌏✌️
Absolutely beautiful, I love your playing, so smooth, and from all of your other videos I’ve watched, I absolutely adore your humbleness and rawness about playing, you inspire me to want to play better
To all the people who say the Tim Henson TOD10N sounds sterile, take note of Bernth’s song “Fuego!” The TOD10N has a beautiful tone if you use it acoustically or know how to EQ this particular nylon string properly while plugged into electronics. It drives me batty when people say The Stage sounds “better” when they’re just two different beasts. Notice how different Bernth’s TOD10N tone sounds as compared with Tim Henson’s tone. Bernth has a much warmer tone while Tim prefers super clean and treble-leaning. Their pick attack is also different. Bernth isn’t attacking the strings as sharply as Tim tends to, which further enhances Bernth’s warmth and fullness. Bernth’s Fuego sounds very much like The Stage and many other traditional nylon stringed guitars. Tim just wants to sound unique and shapes his guitar tone and pick attack to sound melodically trebly. There’s also one crucial thing people fail to realize, all of the above aside. The TOD10N’s design is based upon a flamenco style guitar. Traditional flamenco guitars tend to sound more treble leaning, bright, and brittle because of the powerful emotions, sharp attack (literally and figuratively) and energy that style of music portrays. The Stage is voiced more like a classical guitar. Like I said above, it’s possible to make the TOD10N sound much warmer with minor tweaks like selecting a warmer leaning mic (if you go 100% acoustic or blend with a mic electric) and/or using a warm acoustic amp, pre-amp, EQ, and or pedal choice. It isn’t for everyone, but it doesn’t mean the guitar is bad. As compared to the Stage, I think it’s easier for most electric and even steel string acoustic guitar players to play with the radiused fretboard and a nut width that isn’t 2+ inches like a traditional nylon/flamenco guitar. Aside from more approachable playability, it is also more very versatile to many types of music styles as a result. Of course you can play butchered Polyphia on it, but try playing all kinds of genres. It opens new creative territory and because the tone can be made to sound more mellow or sharp, it adds to the emotional factor and leads to new ideas. It’s a really cool guitar! Bernth did a great job of showing that you can play more than Polyphia sounding material on it!
This is an FRH10N u know. It uses piezo and not fishman pickups but what u say still applies. In fact many (like Danny yua ) don’t like the piezo sound and just use mic sound. I still quite like it tho
I think the TOD10N just sounds really thin, and its tone is really average. Below average really. For the cost of one you can get an entry level flamenco guitar or hybrid that will sound a lot better. It's not that hard to adapt to the neck with a bit of practice and well worth the effort for a better sound.
Always here for the way you exhibit your technicality without losing sight of melody and songwriting. I’ve seen so many guitarists lose track of those and wind up falling prey to the “this is a tech demo, not a video game” trap. It winds up being cool for a listen or two - maybe more if you’re looking to learn - but never really sucks me back in. You on the other hand never seem to lose sight of the overall song - even as you take your moments to flash some technique.
Mr. Bernth man. I didnt know at first but about 30 seconds in and the song just takes off. This was my favorite peice you've done this and last year that I've heard (personal opinion)
Why are British people so good at music? British dubstep, British IDM and every British metal band from the 70s to the 80s. I'm perplexed honestly! HOW?
This is Berth! Pushing the envelope as ever! While the first half made me feel a bit unnerved on first impression the 2nd half really found its soul and groove. I think the Berth experience is not only uplifting but is bringing music, and musicians, to a new plateau of enlightenment. Thank you brother. We are all one but you are a leader in the realm of music. Would be cool to listen to you jam with Berthoud. I think the two “B”s would create something high and mighty. Thanks again!
Listened again. The fact that I totally got it completely on a second listen proves my point that Berth is literally changing music, and our minds in an esoteric way, for the better.
I just read your post today as many people constantly try to remind me that you're not supposed to follow your passions. I didn't know who you were. Tapped on this video and wow😃. It's always awesome finding talented musicians like yourself. Keep up the great work.
Really enjoyed the lighting in this video. All your videos capture the ears & reach the soul in a universal love for music. Bernth is a busy guy right now on tour. When that tour reaches its climax, sometime next year it would be so epic if @Bernthguitar & @DanVasc could do a cover together. Both with their love for metal, I just have a feeling it would be the most epic video of 2025 🎸
Wow I'm blown away! This is amazing. You're very talented. Definitely one of the best guitar players I've heard so far. Thank you for sharing your guitar tutorials online too. They're very helpful.
I love this piece of music dude. I just got a Ibanez FRH10N, and I would love to learn this song on it (It will probably take me a year hehe) Would be cool if you did a how to play the song video. Love your channel, keep up the good work 🤘
U Mean Henson? and that is not Tim Henson Signature No Tree of death inlay. its the Guitar That his Signature guitar is based on ( a Style That Ibanez made in the 90s when Tim was like 3 years old) a guitar that is an electric version of nylon string guitars that been around since the 1700's Btw

Halo boos,,would u tell me what scale when u playing spanish style, thanx🤘
Petition to get this man his own Ibanez signature model...
👇
This one is unbelieveable beautiful. If it had the Tree of Life as an inlane, it would be nearly perfect.
Yes💯
Seconded!
They are only 500 on Sweetwater. @@waldknochen
@@waldknochen The Tim Henson signature "TOD10N" is what youre looking for then, its not the tree of life but the tree of death. Its perfection.
I will never cease to be amazed by the sheer amount of styles this man can play.
I gotta admit, there was a large part of me that was sure the video was going to start with "Today I filled this nylon-string acoustic with gasoline and lit it on fire, and the results sound really cool." Another amazing tune, Bernth!
Lol but I imagine it and was fire🔥🚬🗿
I thought the same!😂
Impossible not to remember the great Paco De Lucia everytime someone plays spanish flamenco guitar
Its insane how he made it both techniuqe-hard and musical.
Nylon strings sound beautiful!! Awesome song, thanks for sharing!!!

There has got to be less than a thousand people in the world that are able to play something like this. I absolutely love this
I guess that people that can play the guitar 🎸 like Bernth must be less than 1.000... 🤔
Bernth rocks!!! 💯🧿⭐

That's what sets him apart from other guitar speedchasers: Bernth is first and foremost a musician.

Este muchacho me llena de orgullo

How can a track sounds hot af?
Is everyone at Ibanez like asleep or something? This dude deserves just as many signature guitars as Tim Henson and his boys.
You've inspired me to buy my first electric guitar, thank you ❤

Love the notification that there's a new Bernth video!
He is a wizard of guitar. Always excellent. More grease to your elbow and God's wisdom always. Amen.

Ole ole , I really love this one🥂🎸

A whole album, in this very style and energy and depth, is what i would love!
You are an absolute legend at guitar! Keep exploring ❤
It's so beautifully arranged, this track can be a whole mainstream song with the right singer featured. Do it man! My horns with you🤘
I just wanna say thank you. After I just clicked the thumbnail of a video of yours, I truly can say my guitar skills are skyrocketed.
Number one guitarist
Now we need a collab with Al Di Meola and Matteo Mancuso!
Fantastic, I really enjoyed that, many many thanks.👍
Ironically we’re learning a song in choir called tres canciones, with one part called fuego! Very nice
Todo eso que haces máquina ,aquí en España , teníamos un dios , que lo hacía con la guitarra española , era Paco de Lucia
it's a dream to play with such fluidity
🔥🔥🔥 Mo'fire please. Spanish is the ultimate romance language
Wow I'm blown away! This is amazing. You're very talented. Definitely one of the best guitar players I've heard so far. Thank you for sharing your guitar tutorials online too. They're very helpful.
Great indeed, Bernth knows how to make almost any genre sound powerful, although I hope he will turn back to some metal tracks also. 🤘🎸👌🙏
