THANK YOU CORONA RENDERER TEAM I love how the video starts out talking about making materials better. As far as I'm concerned I didn't think they could get any better haha
Opffff. I am leaving Octane for Corona. I just cannot match that. and I do not do motion rendering pretty much at all. mainly stills. every time I see something rendered with corona, especially Colorsponge or Others I just melt. I got a ton of time left on my octane but hell it will be good timing for a transition period. will Download all the vids and just learn it before having it :D Like very very very nice engine
Is there any functions/buttons to quickly preview the selected map in IPR?Like the “connect node to output” tool in Redshift or the "Isolate selected" mode in vray vfb
Howdy! At the moment we don't support that but we do have it on our radar even though it is not exactly trivial to implement. We'd really like to encourage you to hop on our forums and add your input to the existing feature request (or come up with a new one) - forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=32480.0 Thanks! Nejc
Sorry to hear that as legacy materials should render perfectly fine. We'd kindly like to ask you to either get in touch with our support (support.chaos.com) or open up a topic on the forums (forum.corona-renderer.com/) so we can have a closer look at what is going awry. Nejc
We did, and it was released at exactly the same time :) This will be the case for all videos in this series - ruclips.net/video/E920CIq83Ws/видео.html Thanks! Tom
Corona is a CPU renderer and you can read up on why that is the case on the follow link: corona-renderer.com/features/proudly-cpu-based Thanks for the comment! Nejc
No, not in the conventional sense - never has been :) If you want to explain why you were asking (as in, what the use case for that would be for you), head over to the forums - forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php. Thanks! Tom
@@ChaosCorona Hello, I sure will head over to the Forums. I am not sure of how to use the progressive based sampling. Maybe you guys can do a quick tutorial on this.
Please Corona don't use this guy anymore on your videos. He rambles a lot and wastes people's time! Just get to the point and show the changes, there's no need for a 12 minute video to explain something that can be clarified in 3-4 min.
Thank you for your feedback, we're always checking in on the balance of faster/slower, where it's impossible to please everyone all of the time but we do always look for ways things can be improved. For some people, especially beginners, a slower pace and repetition can help (and it leaves room for those who don't want that to hit double speed, and use the provided time stamps, to speed through things more at their preferred pace - while if we went too fast, there isn't a way to slow it down in RUclips :) ). Cheers! Tom
I disagree, this video is a goldmine of proper official information, and not only are we finally getting training on material creation for Cinema 4D, we are getting a series of it! I think the instructor's delivery is really good, sounds like English isn't his first language either but that doesn't stop him from being educational. To the Corona team, thank you for this training!

Most welcome! We should have around one part a week over the next month or two, to build up into a deep dive into the Physical Material! Tom

I picked a legacy material from the library and it is not rendering correct. Should we convert all legacy ones in order to render correctly?

Is corona render for vfx fast and better than arnold render?
are you going to make a 3ds max version?
