    You are 100% correct when you said this generation craves human interaction. Social skills is something people lack these days!

    I’m blown away that you’re from the Netherlands. You speak such good English I can not hear your accent and never would have guessed. An ex of mine was Dutch and it’s just amazing how good you speak English.

    I actually wanted to watch this the moment that you posted it (I got busy to say the least)
    I'll be doing that drawing soon! I just have to get past other stuff I should be focusing on.
    Also I think the more visual video you do are really great (I'm kinda into creating videos and films, myself, but I haven't really gotten the chance to do so).

      That's awesome! Thank you :) Work on what you need to work on first, I'll see the drawing when you have time. I'm patient. (But I'm also really curious ;D)

    Your ASMR is incredible. I'm sad I found your channel so late as you don't seem to be active any more. But I hope your school is going well and hopefully you will be back!

      Thank you so much! I've been meaning to work on new video's, but finding time to do so has proven to be an enormous challenge... Your support makes me try even harder though :)

      @@HermitSessionsAsmr I just subbed and can definitely say you have the potential to be as big if not bigger than ObviouslyASMR. I have followed Luuk for a year. Do you sing or game as I see your pc setup looks like either a gaming rig and/or a studio setup for singing.

    Thank you so much for answering my questions. Your Q&A was awesome. I'm glad that I could learn more about you through interesting questions from your viewers. I love David Fincher too!
    This may be a little off topic, but your pronunciation of "Makoto Shinkai" and "Kiminonawa" was excellent. My sister's husband is American and he's been struggling with pronouncing Japanese words properly. It was surprising that you could do that so well. (I haven't seen "Your name" yet because I'm sure that I would cry really badly. So I read the book instead of the movie, but I cried anyway :))

    • @HermitSessionsAsmr

      Eru Mitsu Thank you, thank you! I was already wondering if you'd seen the video yet :) I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
      It's good to hear that I pronounced those words right. I have a pretty easy time with most pronunciations usually, but Germanic and Asian languages are worlds apart vocally, so I wasn't really sure this time :') Propper listening, propper vocal control and a bit of self confidence got me far apparently :) But I'm nowhere near being able to have a conversation with you in Japanese, which is something that your brother in law is able to do I'm sure. Hence my deep respect for your English!
      How did you come to learn English the way you did by the way? Did your brother in law have something to do with that, or did you move around a lot perhaps?
      PS: Watch Your Name, it's worth the tears million times over :)

    • @erumitsu2750
      @erumitsu2750 7 лет назад +1

      You have such an amazing ability to pronounce multiple languages. I think that is also one of your natural gifts. You must be talented in so many fields!
      My English is not good enough and that's really true, but I'm glad to hear your compliment. I love learning English since childhood because my grandmother was a Japanese American born in Los Angeles. She inspired my sister and me a lot. My sister has excellent English skills, but I don't... Anyway, my sister's family temporarily came back from the United States a few days ago, so my 5 year old niece is currently my lovely English teacher :)
      I will definitely watch Your Name when no one's home...

    Thank you very much for answering my questions too 👍 I so agree with the premise of what you say in the question about the advice to your younger self. I feel the same and also the fact quite a lot of people expect other people to "conform" to their own views and ideals and then judge them harshly when they don't. That is still so pervasive in today's society, although I think it is lessening. The Himalayas eh? Definitely Hermit kingdom there, I would so love to go - to India as well.

    • @HermitSessionsAsmr
      @HermitSessionsAsmr  7 лет назад

      globaltraveller I'm glad you agree :) and I agree that a lot of harshness still comes out of people nowadays.. What would your advice to your younger self be?

    • @globaltraveller
      @globaltraveller 7 лет назад

      It would be "Stop worrying about things". In fact it's advice i'd give myself now - and ask me again in 10 years and it would be advice I'd give to my 10 year younger self then as well. Failing that it would be experiences are more worthwhile than possessions...

      Hermit Sessions ASMR je bent helemaal welkom ;), ik ben eigenlijk van origine niet Nederlands wel half Europees half Aziatisch. En heb veel Amerikaanse en Britse vrienden maar alsnog vind ik jouw accent in het Engels meevallen. De meeste Nederlanders hebben inderdaad last van dat Dunglish dat raken ze maar niet kwijt ^^
