Great video Callum, I never had a problem with “zits” on my ender 3 s1 but all of a sudden they started appearing when printing from the sdcard, turned out to be a faulty card. Like everything there’s never one answer. Just bought an new Ender 5 Plus as a build/upgrade platform and with the big build volume of this printer, is there an update on 2kg spools of your pla range?
Yes SD cards can play a big role, I've had to replace many over the years! Trouble is, it's never the first thing you think of when you start having problems. Even in the case of these printers, a higher quality SD card would have no doubt improved the situation. 2kg rolls are now live! They've been ready for a while actually, but was planning on announcing them in the newsletter, which I'll send out tomorrow now. So anyway, you're the first to know :D

Thank You! I'm brand new to this and tried to print an ornament in vase mode and had nothing but problems. This fixed it! Definitely earned a new sub.
Glad it helped! Appreciate the comment
You saved my day!
You rock. I had this issue. This fixed it. Might also have to do with a cheap/terribly MicroSD card btw.
Pleased to hear it! Yeah cheap MicroSDs can play their part, especially in conjunction with a slow controller board...
you saved my day!
Pleased to hear it, cheers for the comment:)

If it isn't broken don't fix it, this is the lesson I have learned over and over. If you have unreliable power, buy a UPS.
You’re not wrong, I am yet to see a power loss recovery solution actually work reliably.
Does the Sunlu S8 Pro have the ability to turn off Powerloss recovery or is it the same as the non-pro version?
I’m not sure! But there’s always the option to flash new firmware if the gcode command doesn’t work
How do I update the firmware on the longer 5 pro

Hi can you turn this feature off using pronterface?
Worth a try! But it didn't work on mine when I tried
