Usually goin to the restaurant is like an easy 4.5 miles then the 9 is going to the house. And usually it sometimes takes you back the way you need to go and even so accept orders when you go that way. I had a 12 that took me 6 miles to the restaurant and like 3 streets over from my house. I was so happy. I love driving for Uber Eats.

Easy accept. Could have a hidden tip on it too. Passes the 2 big tests $/time and $/mile, if it moves me out of a Doordash zone I would try to start a dash in the new zone so I would have all 3 apps running after the delivery and hopefully cut down any dead miles. These types of orders show the importance of learning the other zones in your market so you can accept offers like this and not miss a beat if it takes you to another zone.

I’ve gotta drop off another customer’s order real quick, and then I’ll be heading your way 👍 thank you for your patience 🙏 see you soon!” is a generic text I send to almost every customer when I have multiple orders to deliver.

Here’s what would go in my mind in this order:
1.) Are these highway miles? If yes then I’d gauge if there was no traffic there and back, that would check one box
2.) Is it a slow day? If the answer is yes, that would check another box
3.) Is it possible when picking up this order that Uber would stack it with another order for $5 in the same direction which would give you the gas money … that would be another check
4.) Is it possible to pick up another order on the way back? That would be another check
5.) Is there something that you could do there ( cheap gas, shopping, grocery, specialty store, meet a friend, etc. ) … That would also be a check
    4/5 - hard yes
    3/5 - soft yes
2/5 - yes but only if point 1 is yes and either point 2 or point 3 is yes.

I would gladly accept that order, Southern states rarely get orders above $20.
It's even more rare to see orders in the $20 rsnge, so to see a $30 order, I would definitely take it.
To see one for $30 and mile less than pay, that's a good offer.
I would take it, it adds up quick with the other orders' pay.
14 mile x $2 per mile ( to customer's location and back to hot zone).

I did one last night that was $21 for a package delivery from Glendale Az to Gilbert Az about 30 minutes. My tip was $16.00. I’m glad I did so as it was an African woman who had cooked a meal for an African man that was staying at a hotel. I understood the desire and the need once it was all said and done and I’m happy about my decision. You never know what someone is going through. Our job is bigger than just making deliveries. I pride myself on accepting everything even the small $2 offers.

If it is 2 dollars per mile, I might take the other. I usually take long distance order when it is not rush hour. If I can choose to drive less and earn more, I will. It is all about maximize your profit per km. The distance you have to travel back to hot spot is not counted in the app but will depreciate your car as shown in your maintenance cost. be a wiser driver together.

  • @luxuryqueen42

That will be 28 miles round trip for $30. It’s not worth it unless you pick up orders on the way back. Then theres a risk of being tip baited too.

Hypothetically,....$30.46 with and hour.....most people make less the $30 an hours working hard lador...if you could some how get 2 rides like this within your area per hour...it's about $61 you would make per hour.... 40 hours in a week would put you at about $2400 a week and $9,600 a month...that winning if you ask me.💯

Another 14 miles to come back where you are working, total around 28 miles and another 20 minutes to drive back total 50 minutes to an hour. $30 an hour not that bad !
