Oh wow , you put in at Haulover canal boat ramp !! It is good to see that the area is still holding fish .. it is nothing like it was several years ago .. The Indian river lagoon and surrounding system is almost a total lost habitat from the way it was in years of the past. Hopefully it gets better.. Seems like yesterday I was polling my skiff there chasing schools of red fish so big you could count them. Now it’s a waste land .. Sadly all do to human mis management and runoff.. Fun vid I have wonderful memories in this area.. Tight lines and bent rods young man..

Lawwwwson are you just totally against a life jacket bro😂😂😂. You'd think after damn near swamping the boat a few weeks back you'd wear one while travelling 10 miles in a chop🤷😂😂. Dog, fishing/camping is literally my favorite thing to do. Hunting/camping may be a tie, looove that too!!

If you want to use a hammock for camping, check out Hennessey hammocks. They're awesome and have built in mosquito nets. You look to have yours too high and tight. Sleeping diagonal in them let's you lay much flatter.
If you listen closely you can actually hear the mosquitos lmao. That's crazyyyy. They must have been THICK. I live in St Pete and I know how islands in Florida can be. I stopped fishing at weedon Island nature preserve because of the mosquitoes. Used to be my favorite spot.

I wouldn’t eat anything from the area he was fishing .. that’s the Indian river lagoon system, colasped years ago from gross mis management of run off and nasty red tide .. there is hardly any grass what so ever in the system.. it’s all yuck brown water for miles and miles.. he traveled 8 miles because that’s the closest cleaner water to the north that holds fish .. and in the winter months there would be no snook there.. it’s a mess and sad to see..
