    I've never been more invested in wanting a stranger to catch a fish than after the missed eat around the 25 min mark. And then to just follow up with a great cast at a good fish. Felt like I was on the skiff with you guys. Always keep your head up fishing, keep morale going, and the work will pay off. NEVER sell all that camera equipment - keep sharing these awesome experiences with us, its greatly appreciated.

    I’ve long had the itch to fish the low country flood tides. You guys just took me along, and I thank you. Very well done video that had me paying attention for the entire trip. I enjoyed this for not only the content and education but for the entertainment too. It’s great to know that folks that know what they’re doing suffer the same snafu’s that I do, like line catching on something it never has before or a favorite hat getting ripped off your head before you can get a hand up. I now have three heading north in the flow of the St Johns River that suffered the same fate, never to be seen again. Again, thanks for the ride along, very good work!!

    2:56 I'm sure you're just unaware because you don't live in the area, but we get flood tides year round, every day, typically two a day. I say typically because they're 13 hours apart

    Being from Charleston, these tides are no joke buddy! Been stuck before for 4 hr once. Gotta know what your doing. Also, FYI, some days we only have 3 tides that day instead of 4. Keep up the awesome content. Can't wait for the short bus crew going back for BIG BULL TROUT, AKA Killin Bullies.

    This is really cool to watch red fish being caught on the fly in the grass. I fished them for years but, in different environments in bays and inlets. Thanks for sharing a great video.

    damn this is top notch production dudes. luv all things short bus diaries but this is on a different level. wud be cool to c u guys do more on the salty stuff. as an aussie we know the usa has a few bucket list fish to tick off on but for me there r only 2 that matter to me. meter(40in)bull red n snook, hopefully thats next year. all bout ep2.

    Heading down near Charleston SC for two weeks of chasing reds next month. The experience you captured so well. Tho I live in trout territory like you I somehow spend a lot of time thinking about flooded flats, tailers, diggers, cruisers & happy fish❤️.

    In my humble opinion, a trip like this is literally as good as it gets. Camping, fishing and hunting, cooking outside (EVERYTHING tastes better cooked outside), great friends, even though I'm ALWAYS alone on these trips. When I finally die and go to heaven I pray I spend the rest of eternity exactly like this!!!

    This was such a feel good film. And the soundtrack is on point. I've lived in Charleston SC for the last year and am moving back to Minneapolis the end of July. Had high hopes to fly fish while here but ran into some barriers and never made it happen. So, I can't express the gratitude to see this video and another side of SC I didn't get to see. Thanks, and can't wait to see more.

    Scottie, was watching the Podcast episode #26 and caught your reference to Roosevelt. I’m sure you have it but here’s the full quote.     Lynnhaven or Rudy inlet in Virginia Beach is home for some monsters. Back Bay is another one of my favorites for reds.

    If you guys were looking to do some more bull trout stuff I'd check out WA state. The west side has bulls thick as thieves and even allows retention. Lots of water full of em and very few people out there chasing them as most are so preoccupied with salmon and steel. I'd love to point you guys in a good direction to find em
