😂😂😂
too good to leave out. 😂
😂😂😂😂 the excitement was real
The aerial view is great, it gives the GoPro shots a lot more context of where you are in the river in relation to the fish.
Wow Scottie, you've outdone yourself dude! One of the sickest videos yet, and I'm not just saying that cause of the gratuitous slow mo hopper eats. I love the message to find those out of the way holes and explore. That's the best way to get into fly fishing and stay into it.
Thanks, Jacob! Tight lines to ya 🤘🏻
took a sip of beer for every “lets go!”, got ripped. 👍
The wild fly drinking game. It’s the next big thing.
The wild fly drinking game. It’s the next big thing.
Thanks for your content! It got me into fly fishing and I’m stoked to keep learning 🤙🏼
Hey my name is wyett I live in Oregon you should come up and I can show you some amazing water for sea run cutthroat and steelhead on the Oregon coast love the vid keep up the hard work
Love it! Stunningly filmed and edited. Great sounds too. Looking forward to our summer here in NZ now.
Absolutely fantastic series, gentlemen. Filming and fishing top notch!
Another Amazing Video Guys. Well done . I got my T Shirt and sticker pack the other day. Thank you!
Keep making these great videos for us to watch . Tight Lines Gentlemen
Just found your channel a couple days ago. LOVIN' it!!! The videography is...well, makes me want to hit the road today. Thanks for taking the time to make really really enjoyable films!! And your comments around the 19 minute point (including "it's the journey..." are so so true!!!
The shots of the dry fly eats get me going every time. Gonna shirk some responsibility and go fishing tomorrow.
That’s what we like to hear 🤘🏻
Sorry about that dislike. My kiddo hit the button
Sweet video, mates! Keep up the stellar work.
Awesome vid mate! The editing just keeps getting better. Hands down some of the best vids on the tube! Keep it up 🤙🏼
Awesome as always man! You two working together is some great stuff! Great fishing and filming!
Is Will carrying a fstop Tilopa? If yess ... good choice my friend! Cheers from another fly fishing Film maker from Europe! BTW you guys are Welcome if you wanna hit European Waters, especially here in Austria 🤘🏼😎
Dude, this is an awesome video. You do some amazing work when creating these video's. I've tried making some of my own, but I pale in comparison. Here's to you and the amazing work you do. It takes extreme effort and hard work to produce the quality of videos and content. keep it up
For sure ditch the chacos as your river shoes... ive gone to sanuks and they are the best with traction and protection.
I’m brand new to this channel and I have to say this is the content I’ve been searching for, for so long! Fly fishing is my greatest passion and to see it come to life on film is so dope! Keep up the great work!
fall is just around the corner. tht means stripers, trolling for lake trout, fly fishing an then hunting season cant wait lets get it
Hey man I want to get into hunting and am looking into purchasing a 22 any name brand recommendations? Or specific 22 u recommend?
@@christophergarcia636 Depending on your budget I would recommend maybe a Mossberg or a Smith n Wesson or a Remington. It also depends on what kind of 22 you want to get whether it’s a rifle or a pistol etc. or 22 Long rifle or 22 short
A title like this does not help the gems you are calling hidden. If people cared more deeply about the streams they fish, they wouldn't hype them on social media.
love the aerial shots. Those streams look like HEAVEN. Peace dudes!
That's a bull trout I'm pretty certain.
Nice spots, amazing place and awesome trouts. Thanks for yours videos i really enjoyed watch your videos!
What a great way to wake up early on a Saturday morning! College football kicks off and to make it even better we start the day with a wild fly production film. Oh yeah and I’m in Swan Valley with the SF of the Snake across the road! Life is good!.
Love this series and this style! Excited to see what comes next :)
Awesome editing and sick views! Jesus! I've been draining your entire channel the last couple of days, ditch's my spinning rod and bought a nice fly rod, bur now! i'm running down to the river and I'm definitely gonna catch that big ass salmon!
is it against some unwriten rule to say where you? I am from Montana but moved to Washington. Would love to put a dot on the map in my mind. Just seen at the 7 min mark. You explained why. But I would still love to know. By the tree's and grass lands look. I know the "area"
Good to see you teaming up with Phelpsy. I love seeing dudes who put up some sweet vids joint forces!
Will is a bad ass dude and a master behind the lens. So much fun to work on this with him. Now it's time to plan the next one with him...
You guys make me see fishing in a whole different perspective and I love it. It’s not just about fishing but about everything when you fish, where, with who. Enjoy every little moment even when you’re not catching fish. Love your guys videos
Definitely shows the effect of this year's drought. Ten feet of river and forty feet of dry gravel.
The videos are sick man ! local of Banner Elk hmu sometime and we will go find some new waters , wild waters.
Great photography of some amazing dry fly eats. Love the off the beaten path rivers. One of my favorite kinds of fishing.
What a epic trip , makes me want to head back out west but also explore more hidden gems around home as well . Keep up the awesome work guys! 🤙🏻
love it, dude! nothing like exploring new water, especially around home.
That is my go to happy spot, all the guides say that its just a run off farming river. No good fish there, I encouraged that thinking
Yolo or swag which is more important
The slow mo of the takes was super cool in this video
One more knot needle commercial and Im'a start blastin!!
Hahahaha 👍👍
Cannot explain how excited i got when i saw a new wildfly video pop up
Great job guys!!!! Beautiful water, fish, scenery!!! Great drone footage!!! Had it all!!! I will be in Montana someday, wanted to go for 34 years, maybe next summer!! Any school bus work scheduled?
Thanks, Scott! And yes, our Colorado trip is just around the corner in October!
Yup, had to watch both episodes! Thanks for sharing:) Fishing out west is on my bucket list
Sweet, thanks so much! I hope you make it out there soon.
The drone videos really give away where you are. If your trying to protect these spots, that’s not doin it. Great videos.
Yep, get rid of the drone shots!
The amount of strikes you caught one camera!
Good job! Some nice fish and some beautiful country. Great video quality! Tightlines!
Excellent work Scottie! Your an artist that many can learn from. Hopper seasons still poppin hear in Utah but Montanas an amazing place to fish, so much solitude! Glad u got to feelin better.✌ Steve at Black Fly
Seems like you share some great moments :)
Dude, take this video down now and get of my water LOL!!! It is bad enough Hollywood makes movies and TV shows that drives people out here, keep them all on the other side of the divide man, not on the water that shall not be named!!! Thank you for keeping the secrets, but any local knows right where you are on each stream. Great work on the videos, loved both of these in this series. Well done, smashed that subscribe button, now go far, far away. LOL!
Dude… bro… you should call this “Bro Trips” bro. That would be so sick bro, like dude. I am just messing with you man! Lol nice video, big fan of your guys stuff
That last stream (I won't name) is not real productive. As you surmised, it is fed by glacial water... not a lot of minerals and therefore not a lot bugs and therefore not a lot of fish, particularly big fish.
And hopefully whatever bug you got came and went and no long-lasting ill effects...
Great Series, along with the SBD series. I'm a little behind everyone because of the lack of good internet in Alaska but I'll be catching up now! Keep up the great vids man. P.S. there's a spot I fish in CO that you may like.
Man great video. Like always and man it makes me want to get out and spend some time with my fly rod. I just wish I could get the hang of it. You guys make it look so easy. Maybe I just have the wrong stuff.
Have you ever considered a video on the basis and what is a good budget friendly setup. Also maybe a talk about rafts and what you like about your raft and why.
I kayak fish a bunch but the raft world looks so cool
Thank you for the great videos and all the work you guys put in.
Can't wait for the short bus drop
your giving away camera's from income generated from creating your art... i friggen love you dude... also i need a drone... bahaha
Hey there is this pristine untouched part of the American River starting in the foothills in nor cal .. a certain stretch. Thats full of 25 to 30 in plus browns...
growing up in Montana I used to catch big browns on a bright orange woolly worm fly just after spring runoff .....brings back lots of memories
Absolutely loved this video scottie, gorgeous country and fish. Can't beat a hopper pattern out west in the summer. Hope you get feeling better soon! Will be looking for more videos. Stay safe. 👍👍👍
This might actually be my first comment ever. Compelled to congratulate you on the best fly fishing content hands down! Every time I come back for another Wildfly production I'm excited and never disappointed. Some of the best content on youtube period IMHO.
Hey, not sure if you will see this, but I was looking to buy a rod for this similar application. What rod do you use or recommend?
Just keeps getting better.
19:43 looked like a Harrier or night hawk getting close! Thats way cloeser than most think!! like a few feet!!!
Rad video!
What a great video. I was in Montana in late June, but did not find any fishable water. It was the worst drought they were having. I'll have to go back another time.
Great video and excellent fish...Thanks so much for sharing
😂😂😂😂😂… Perhaps stop fishing in tevas…
I love all of the videos man!
Enjoyable video. You guys have an eye
For making films. Keep it up
yep, 20:32 i told my wife she would like it, she laughed. only a photographer.....
Can’t wait!!!
That clear water is beautiful, wish i knew q
Where that was, am planning a few day trip out there may or june
Amazing looking creek
God man your videos are beautiful. The timing of the music and fish biting is magical. Great editing.
Epic, can't wait for the next short bus episodes! You ever thinking of coming back to the driftless area?
Wow, this we be hard to beat for sure. Not that you have to. Hopper fishing is by far in my opinion the best there is for fly fishing.
Your guy’s videos are insane 🔥 love the slow mo fish bite 👌 one day I’m going to fly fish in Montana because it is breathtaking!
Great video! Man this gets me excited for
Summer fishing here in NZ! 🔥
The ending! Lol!
Love your videos
Hope you're feeling much better!
I am, thank you!
always good content!
Great trip! I hate getting sick out like that, but you really pulled it out! Great stuff!
There’s nothing like getting out in the woods and fishing and taking in nature.
hopper takes were so well shot, you guys always kill it
Thanks brother! Will shot most of the tight eats. He’s a master behind the lens.
Bro you are channel goals.... here two years late but loving every video I watch! Learning so much!
MOM WAKE UP WILD FLY DROPPED A NEW VID.
That’s the energy we want 😂
i wished you had a film school! I’d pay good money to be apart of that.
How close is the town of great falls to this stream? I used to be stationed at the Airforce base there.
So great man. What an experience. Do you think this is possible in NC? I mean to still find “unknown” water by blue lining maps? I’ve done this and found some brookie water but nothing like what I’m seeing there. Thanks
I've been fly fishing the mountains of NC for 60+ years and you'll be hard pressed to find anything like this in NC. I used to fish a small Brook Trout stream in Yancey County that I never saw any other footprints on it for close to 15 years. It's now posted as private property and off limits.
Really nice video and content - great job guys.
This video makes me miss the valley, grew up there and moved away in my 20s, need to make a point to get up there more often, great videos guys, thank you
The drone footage is absolutely sick
It's all about the cast, not the catch
Thank you!
Isn’t most of Montana under hoot owl right now?
Great video ... but why the bear spray while fishing these plains creeks?
This is one of the areas that grizzlies will come out to the plains. They come out through the creeks and you have to watch out for them.
Dude love your vid‘s I live in Colorado and fish a ton
Awwww duuuudddde… he took a shit 😂
More of this!
Love it man! Just bought a hat and sticker!!!!!!
That was great! really good stuff.
Think you got altitude sickness. It happened to me when I went to Colorado and I'm in great shape. Was doing some cycling in Boulder and then went to Breckenridge to ski and threw up on the way there. Felt awful. Slept for 13 hours and was good to go the next day.
He got sick on the 4th day. Altitude sickness strikes quicker than that...
@@Michael65429 politely disagree. Some cases of altitude sickness arrive after more than average exertion. I think it was the day before that they did a lot of trekking. This same thing happened to me in the rockies.
But who knows, could've been a bug.
I need to hire a filmmaker get shots like this for me
Im hooked!!! Thx from france
