I'm getting a 2017 with 545 miles on it on July 2nd! I'm stoked! Never had a dual sport before so I dont know what helmet I should buy but I was looking at possibly ordering a modular full face helmet in a bright neon green if available
XTs are great bikes! Lots of fun and a great way to get into dual sports. I have two helmets, a Bell full face in neon yellow and a Shoei all white dual sport helmet.
Can I get your opinion on the stainless steel exhaust header from Webike? The British Biker In The Philippines installed one and it looked really nice . The only 2 problems I've found was the O2 Sensor ( can be plugged) and one of the brackets on the heat shield don't exactly match up. The lower heat shield on the American version is supposedly a little different than the Japanese version. I might just buy the Japanese version lower heat shield then just plug the O2. It's crazy how something so simple turns into a pain in the *ss. They even have a Titanium version but it has some kinda can mounted on it called a powerbox. I just want to get rid of the rusting exhaust pipe and don't what to mess with the fuel injection mapping.
Yeah, sounds like a huge headache. I’m not too sure here, some of the mods where I might mess up the bike due to my lack of knowledge, I just leave alone. Sometimes getting it professionally done might be the best option to save you some headaches now and later if something gets messed up.
Nice mods. Ordered the Zeta Handguards for my 2021 XT. I just don't want to cut my handgrips but I will. Been looking for open end lockon handgrips but not luck finding them. I'll just be extra careful cutting and should be alright. I like the Japanese Webike site but searching for stuff is a pain in the *ss.
I was thinking the same thing originally with my hand guards, but they offer less protection and that is what I was looking for. Yeah, the Japan webike site is the worst to look for things haha.

Haha yes! Not any more. It is a lot smoother now on the curves and highway though.
