@@linkinmylog my prior operator position at a local microgrid Cogen is what inspires me to create these things. Playing with circuitry and logic is a blast when you can simulate a switchgear opening and closing.
@@goodgamegsquad Great mod you got here, very clean looking. I just meant the complexity of the game could be increased ten-fold by implementing circuitry like this. It's making my head hurt just thinking about it, haha.
It controls different switches, so the first one closes the crank battery switch to the starter generator and its aux equipment, the third one closes the switch from the starter generator to the rest of the generators and their aux equipment, “pumps and miner”. The second switch closes a switch tying the main generators to the rest of the grid. The bottom switch ties gen 1,2 with 3,4 and their aux equipment. Just some playing around with mods and switches and such.
The idea came from wanting to start a set of generators all from the starting point of a 60mw momentary crank battery “mod”. Major thanks to all the modders out there and especially satisfactory.
Damn sounds pretty cool thanks for explaining it I've played some satisfactory to early mid game but I haven't looked much at mods but I might have a look now once I finish the last shipment for the space elevator 👍
As an electrician, I thank the devs for leaving voltage drop, wiring sizing, and OCP(mostly) out of this game, it would just be too much like work.

Though I agree it would be a lot like work.

when a factory sim turns into an electrical engineer sim lol
Very tactile and very satisfying.
You can't get get megawatts out of a hand-powered crank... 😅
What does the control panel do ? just curious
