2300+ Hour Satisfactory Montage

- Dubbed, the Terafactory, or "Terror" factory by the developers is my longest running vanilla-ish playthrough. I say "ish" because I have a few quality of life mods that basically help keep me on track and efficient. Efficiency checker to ensure proper connections on belts/pipes and an accidental expanded inventory mod, but at this scale, I still make trips constantly.
I started this save file on October 26th 2020 at 6pm on my live stream and have been streaming it ever since. It is a work in progress averaging about 26hrs a week with little to no AFK time. It has underwent many many changes from update 3 all the way to present with plans to keep at it until we reach our goal of maxing every single resource node on the map.
Thanks for all those who have been along for the journey, and if you haven't checked out my live streams, you definitely should! 2 minutes isn't enough time to show the entire thing, but to give just a taste!

Almost every second of this video undersells how much work it takes to make what is shown on screen.
Definitely!
People who did these elaborate things have spent many many hours on them
@@BLAndrew575- seriously, i have 600+ hours worth of building and hundreds of hours off game worth of calculations just to build a single turbofuel powerplant for 250k watts, that's before decorating it nicely. i literally skipped trains and do all my transport by conveyors or drones simply because they require less brain power even though they're more resource intensive.
tl;dr i have over 1000 hours on the game and i am blown away by the sheer patience, creativity, and efficiency of my fellow ficsit employees
I have just over 4k play hours, but most is afk cause of work. This work of art boggles my mind!
I will never again wonder if the game will handle what I'm building. That was amazing!
It's an honor to have CSS use this save to help optimized the game for everyone. I just really really enjoy the challenge that comes with massive builds. If it helps them and everyone, that's just the most amazing honor. Glad you enjoyed!
@@BLAndrew575- is the map downloadable? Or is it just for CSS?
It doesn’t😂 friend and i had to stop cause server sad no
@@luplex7567 Multiplayer servers are WIP and weak. They say it when you create one. The save shown in the video is probably single player which is different
@@paul4381 I really hope that will change with 1.0
The organization and fluidity in your builds is impeccable.
I really love that all the wires are placed only where they are needed and never clipping objects or obscuring views. There is really no wasted space unless it serves the purpose of scenery and order.
Congrats on finishing the truly Heavy Modular Framerate factory!
It's been a fun journey, resulting in a suspiciously smooth video.
Looking forward for what's next on your "worth overdoing" list!
The Ficsit cam mod does wonders for video recording!
Satisfactory: "it's over Annakin, i have the high ground"
RAM: "I HATE YOU !!!"
First off. You win Satisfactory, hands down. Second, I gave this a like and a comment solely based off of the timing of the Clap at 0:55 - Truly exceptional work.
YES THE CLAP
“Hands” down 😂😂😂
Getting back into this game and spent 10 hours over the weekend. This is truly magnificent. Hats off to you sir, that is some dedication.
This shouldn't be 2 minutes, but 20 minutes. Amazing work!
FACTORY... MUST... GROW...
this game can really deep fry your brain sometimes when trying to do calculations lol, I have so much respect for all this work you did
This music fit so well the Satisfactory theme. Nice video and very good montage. impressive work on your base.
It's a Like !
You're producing more screws per minute than every single item I move around across the whole map in my current save that completed Phase 4.
Not just 1, not 2, but 3 times more screws than every piece of ore, cubic meter of liquid, ingot, and part combined to finish the final phase of the game.
I use a lot of alternate recipes to make it that way, but still, that's an absurd amount of screws.
It mainly was a challenge by the devs to make that many a minute lol When I calculated how many screws I needed, it came to 68,800, so of course I had to adjust it to meet that goal XD
And not only that, it looks amazing too!! ;)
It's like a brief glimpse into our utopian future as subservient Amazon assembly line robots on Mars
BEST comment LOL
Or a dystopian future where there is only one rich man alive and own the whole planet, but it would not be too bad because im already dead.
I'm glad that Coffee Stain did not underestimate people and that their game can actually handle this, even if it's at 10FPS.
Absolutely! The fact the save can run 40-50fps average and be 6x over the entity limit shows just how well they have optimized Satisfactory!
really love you've done the "clap clap" like in the trailer !!! epic
I always wondered if I could reach the building limit with my newest project. After your video I now know, I definitly will NOT reach it. You win Satisfactory my guy, gg.
Trust me, the build limit is more of a guideline than a true limit. (Can alter one file to never have a limit again) BUT building beyond that limit you are subject to lowering fps, long save/load times, and taxing the game engine before your hardware even gets hot. I say build to your hearts content and go nuts! Cant know what our limits are until we push them a bit! But one thing I can say without a doubt, the engine limit unaltered, is pretty beefy and difficult to reach. This save is roughly 3x over it.
I don't like this game, but man i can tell you congrats on your hardwork. One thing that sucks about games is not being able to show people your work. This right here is beautiful, well done.
There's so much to see, why only 2 minutes? I demand a full showcase movie!! Now!
I just wanted to give an update out other than twitter or twitch! XD This save is specific to Twitch only for now. Eventually I will put out another tour video like this but with the save file accessible for everyone!
This would work amazingly well as a trailer for this game tbh, nothing has made me want to play this game more than this video even though I won’t be able to make anything nearly as complex, efficient, nor big as this lol
This is nuts incredible work bro
Thank you very much. Awesome video, love it. No talking, just cool music and astonishing pictures!
it is an amazing factory world you made there Andrew.
This was ... AMAZING!
I am speechless
I just started playing last week and have played about 8 hours and am loving it. This video is so insane I have no idea what is actually going on here haha. May have to check out some of your streams...
This is some insane amount of planning and artistic skill. I dread to think of how many hours they spent on breaking it down and rebuilding it every time.
@@alexanderbeardsley5465 There was about a solid month of planning that went into the HMF factory before even a single foundation was laid. As for the rest of it, it was pretty much as I went. This playthrough is just over 2600hrs now and done all on my live stream only(I wont work on it outside so the viewers can see every step) I have over 10k hours in Satisfactory now and coming up on 5 years playing it and have come such a long way from spaghetti builds! I just truly love the building aspect combined with functional factories and cant get enough!
My brain hurts watching this.
Only 2 minutes? What a f.. work & vidéo !!!! grats !!! Kiss from Paris (France) 😍
Едрить колотить! Это лучшее, что я видел в Satisfactoty!! Напоминает мне Челябинск. Там так же дымно и много промышленных заводов)))
There is MAD. There is INSANE. And then there is this dude/duded.
Thank god for the pause button!
Amazing amount of work, well done.
i wish, someday, to have just a little bit of that commitment to a satisfactory save
One day you will! I build really big factories, some of which are the largest ever built in game. Because of that, its nothing to spend months on one factory, but what really keeps me engaged and hooked on a project is streaming it. The Satisfactory community is absolutely amazing, supportive, highly knowledgeable, and SUPER fun to engage with. But Ficsit for sure hasn't stranded me on that planet forcing me to build factories!
Ery noic
Thats an awesome build. Also great to see you use a lot off conveyer busses and lifting everything off the ground. I tend to build way to compact and close to the ground which is a pain if you want to scale.
Glad you enjoyed! It can be tough leaving space for late game stuff! Even after 9000hrs in the game and 4 years, I still feel like I never leave enough room! Only once I get to the end of a build do I realize I need to move something!
Greetings from Germany :D we LOVE such perfection... :P don't know what to say else than: W. T. F.! What an amazing Factory!
@@awa_182 Hallo und guten Tag! Thank you so much for the kind words!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
1:29 that one moment that broke immersion show how much of stuff is behind the scenes.
The power plant is easily the most laggy part. If you look at the pipes that feed the 2500 generators, it sets at less than 10fps. But before update 6, this save was running 7fps everywhere. Now its usually 40-60fps depending on where you are. They have been able to heavily optimize the game using this save. I had to have one scene showing some lag as I didnt want to make it seem like it always ran perfect, there is a downside to building massive things unfortunately :)
The factory has grown.
Wait a minute, it's awsome !!!
Soundtrack really suits the video. Well made, well done and well well :)
Thanks so much!! :)
Damn! That's an impressive display.
Bro's Graphics Card would be burning just to Render that Factory... but seriously, That's Amazing.
I'm at 0:57 .. I had to stop and comment that I've been looking at this video for 57 ! seconds, with my mouth wide open and uttering "What the f*ck" and "No way!" every 8 seconds
this is what serial killers evolved into.
Wow, you are a planetary industrialization machine, nothing can stop you!
Only the veteran players will truly understand the insane undertaking that is 375 heavy modular frames per minute. This video is so damn cool. By the way, that song is awesome. What’s it called and who wrote it?
Never mind. I just checked the description.
Yeah it's the original 2018 E3 trailer song for satisfactory. No other song fit as well.
I was happy to make 10 a minute on update 7! I can't even fathom 100, never mind 375.
@@slwsnowman4038 yea, it would be a massive logistical undertaking.
man salute to you. Is the save file available for us? Just need to go in there and travel inside your creation to feel it myself. Even a 2 hr video can't justify your efforts.
Boy, they weren't kidding when they said _Absolute FICSIT_ is "the most productive music in the universe".
Amazing! Very fun to see all in one go :D
It honestly looks like a Las Vegas casino from a distance.
Daaayyuuuum, that was .. satisfactory to watch !
you sir you sir! u sir just made me cry
I'm sorry it made you cry! Hopefully it was tears of joy! 😊
This is absolutely incredible. Wow
This video is a Lie... There is no way his save has that good FPS... LUL
Amazing bro, this save is a legion in its own right.
It still maintains 20-50fps area depending but Ficsit Cam does wonders lol
@@BLAndrew575- Ficsit cam for the win
When I saw the screw BUS... OMG hot.
Everytime youtube shows me a factory like this I go wow thats soo cool, I should build something like that but end up building the lets game it out style for the 6th time XD.
Believe me, I know exactly what you are saying XD This is like my 7th playthrough and certainly the cleanest lol
2300 of creative mode minecraft alpha version
cant say id be able to do it, but you did the equivalent bravo
Truly incredible. Amazing. Well done.
This should be on your resume
Mad respect for this one! Damn it, im shocked
Welcome to 1.0
I can spend on this game no more than 2 hours a day. I would build that amount of factories almost three years! No way...
I get around 2 hours in a week often a lot less.
Alright... you win
Makes all my buildings look like spaghetti on a mudflat
Its like that! We all started with spaget!
Color me absolutely flabbergasted
This is so awesome! Incredibly impressive!
Thank you my dude!!!!
It's really impressive, everything is very beautiful❤
WOWWWWW The most impressing save file I've ever seen. Do you have maybe an excel sheet with info about the world?
I dont have one all in one place but for each factory separately, I am still finalizing the HMF one but my 2500 fuel plant flow chart is available on my twitch page just to the right side of my bio. labeled "Largest fuel plant" :)
Only another 7700h more to go to be a grand master! Nice work :)
I feel like my pc would explode trying to run this save
It is large enough that the engine is the bottleneck so my PC doesn't even use 50% of its power even in 4K XD
Its awesome! my gratulations! very very very good job!
noice 69420
Rock n stone brother! ... wait wrong fandom... the factory must grow! No thats more factorio... ah yes I got it! This video is... Satisfactory
Dude you did those wavy conveyors by HAND?!
@DawnOfTheRachael yeah and it took a solid 7 weeks lol 😆 that was about 9 months before blueprints were even announced.
That is seriously impressive! I feel like at least 300 of those hours was used being stuck in autosave though
I have no way to know how much for sure, but before update 6, save times were around 11 minutes. After that, they shortened to just 3 minutes, but it still adds up. But also keep in mind save times aren't logged when the game is saving so the total time is playtime. But now you've got me wondering how many hours this save has spent just saving. Has to be 300-500hrs at least once the 3 years I've been in this save lol
@@BLAndrew575- I was only jokingly referring to the crazy save times of this game and definitely not trying to say you didn't put in 2300 hours. But damn... 11 minutes is rough! Never been over a minute my self and that felt awful
XD I got ya! I have another save file that is over 200mb in size and takes over two hours... yes... two hours to save! Lol it broke several records, and the final output was sparkly fireworks with nearly 500 mk5 belts. It also broke CSS's server when they tried to analyze and none of their computers could run it as you need I've 128gb of ram just to load in lol
Got hired to build a dog house, came back with starkiller base.
I imagine that's how Death Stranding's distribution centers look like from inside.
Holy F**!
Freaking awesome man!!
Please make a longer video showing a big more ;D
My brain colapsed
very satisfactory
I personally get bored after 20-30 hours. As soon as I get trains and connect everything I feel like I’m done
Exceptional , how on earth even in that much time did you create so much coordinated and planned work :) ??
Just one step at a time with very detailed flow charts to keep me on track :)
Very nice factory. video, music and edits.
This is incredible
This is CRAZY!
Crazy is what I do best!
Hits different with squidgame music

THAT WAS AMAZING MAAANN!!!!
love the factorio style resource busses. Thats exactly the way i wanna get my shit around the map!
Thanks so much! I do also love the factorio belting like that! So satisfying to see all of them moving with items!
What a mess
Start over!
Just kidding great stuff 😂
Funfact: the theoretical time needed to get a bachelor's degree (studying+attendig all classes) is 4500 hours
and a 100k debt.
@@dred8616 well, here is free if you are poor
@@dred8616 Is that an American joke ?
Jesus christ
Correct
damm bro u good i only have 500 the game total
I just really love the game and no limit builds. And nearly 9k hours in 12 playthroughs. :)
wat a masterpiece, wondering what ur pc spec to handle all the belt, my pc and games collapse at tier 5 with few small factory far away from each other, no chance to build a huge centralized factory, still amze the beauty of all the symmetrically alligned belt and pipes, that feel so good
Thanks so much! This has been an amazing build so far and even with 1.0 around the corner, I don't plan on giving up on it. Will do a new save for 1.0 just to experience all the new stuff, but eventually will go back. I do have a beast of a PC but its far from a NASA PC. (7900x CPU - 4090 - 128gb RAM). But there is a point where the game lags due to the engine being unable to keep up, so in my instance, the lag I get is from that, not hardware. I just built one factory so massive that it runs 1-2fps but my pc barely is pushing 10% hardware used. I've learned a lot over the years with how to build Terafactories and how to go about laying them out so it doesn't destroy the game engine or hardware. BUT with 1.0 coming, the optimizations are going to make the game SOO much better at handling larger factories :)
@@BLAndrew575- looking forward to you 1.0 video than, it must be amazing as usual
Insane factory, so impressive! Did you hit the object limit on this factory?
Thanks!!! And I am roughly 6x over the entity limit so I hit it years ago! This is currently the largest save the devs are aware of. :)
@@BLAndrew575-Wow that is nuts.
I just got into the game and destroyed two work days. Played from 2100-0600 😭
I just kind of am about to get the vasic recipies down but remembered its not only the production amount of each step but also yoj have to take into accoubt each Assembelr/faundry etc build time before it actuallh needs more stuff?
That probably required 219 managers and 9000 meetings to make sure you did your job :D /s
@@lazygamerz LOL 😆
i'm speechless wow great job man
is there any chance one day you will share the save with us
Absolutely one day it will be available! I just can't release it yet, plus there are a lot of major factories planned so lots more to come!
Man save some talent for the rest of us
Holy shit man. Thanks for sharing and great job =)
this montage is right what i imagened while played the game
nice job
Thanks so much and glad you enjoyed! I truly love this game but what makes it truly unique is the community around it. My viewers inspire me to always push my builds and what I can do even when creating videos. :)
Was this built with resource requirements turned off? I have 600 hours into my play through and if I put another 1800 into it I'd be nowhere near that efficient or pretty.
100% built with vanilla limitations :)
This guy owns Ficsit
What I want to know is how people manage to layout things this large and keep it so symmetrical. I inevitably space something wrong and not discover it until ive built 20 hours worth of other things. I especially wonder if there are any good tips on building the huge transport hubs (20+ pipes all laid out, 30-50+ conveyors all weaved around each other, etc). A overhead planning tool would probably make all of that a million times easier (even using /fly helps a ton, but isn't completely perfect)
Oh the struggle is real. The HMF building you see in there had to be completely resized once I got the factory functional and all the floors built. I had to add on 2x4 foundations to make the outside design work. The struggle of making everything look symmetrical and complete is often overlooked with videos like this. I easily spent over 100hrs reworking that building alone. The fuel plant of 2500 fuel generators also had quite the rework once it was complete. So don't worry, it happens to all of us :) My go to plan for builds this large is make it functional, then make it clean/pretty.
My team of 6 people and I built and launched a real factory with an area of 4096 m2 in 9 months. For the production of mushroom substrates. Please appreciate your time, there are many opportunities in this world.
Absolutely! And what a factory! Some of my favorite real-life moments were working on industrial sites and building several factories and power plants, having become an electrician nearly 20 years ago and now electrical engineering. I love what I do, and this game allows me to just get crazy creative in my free time!
