@@75echo Not automatically but thats not the point. This data is writen in digital form as maintenance log stored in multimedia device. Usefull info for all of us should be how to find that logs...that s the point. Does anyone know steps how to do it.

My 2017 Nissan x-trail seems to think it is in reverse gear all the time so the reverse lights are permanently on even with the engine off and the doors locked with the key fob. Because of this the display is stuck at the reverse camera so I can’t change to the setup menu or any other menu. Any suggestions on how to fix?
@@75echo Thanks, appreciate it! That would make sense as I accidentally left the boot open recently and it rained all night and got wet inside the boot. Do you think running a dehumidifier inside the car would work?
If anyone is interested it was found out to be caused by water ingress in to the tow bar electrics. Once they disconnected that then everything went back to normal so it must have been a short
Various things! For one it shows the battery voltage so you can easily tell if your battery is holding charge and also shows the alternator is charging properly (start the vehicle and the voltage will rise to something like 14.4 volts or above
Just because you think it isn’t helpful doesn’t mean it isn’t helpful, for one, it shows how good your battery voltage is (a discharged battery causes several problems on the qashqai) and saves using a multimeter or taking the car to a garage! If you watched the video properly you would find how helpful it actually is!

i think the problem is the format of your flash drive is not recorgnised by the car. Mine is normal FAT32 format and it works well.
How to find "vehicle service record" It's not written in the service book, rather it's digitally recorded in device.
Vehicle service is not automatically recorded unless you manually enter it on the dashboard under 'settings'- 'maintainance'

as far as i know, it is not possible to upgrade without proprietry Nissan software.

Hi, as far as i know , only your dealer can update the maps.
You have to buy the update on a SD card. Nissan charge is very high. Search on eBay for pirate copies.

I am not sure what you mean. Only models with inbuilt GPS from Nissan have navigating ability. Ordinary radios can not be used for this.

I am not sure but it sounds like your reverse camera switch is shorted.

Get the reverse switch checked as it could be faulty. It should be somewhere on the gearbox/linkage

It should work for all models J11 right down til 2014. Maybe your software has been tampered with.

I do not know if Ford uses same software. This demo is the Nissan connect 2. Demonstratrated at the time in my Nissan Qashqai Euro version .
