Very useful video in order to see the steps to pair your car with the app. The application itself it's a poor one, I expected a lot much from Nissan. No trip info (except mileage), no consumption, no average speed, I mean info available on dashboard, only take them and put in the app. Let alone remote engine start, remote clima start and other confort commands that the rivals have from years now.

i have parked my car in storage for first two weeks it is showing location where it is parked but after two weeks it is not showing location and it has been parked in covered storage, what could be the reason as I am worried ifmy car is safe, storage company is saying they have verified locked from outside and they see garage is locked, why i connected nissan customer care they say after two weeks car goes to hybernate mode so that could be the reason, is it true?

Later I received a notification to say that privacy mode was switched on - switch it off using the car screen. I have been unable to find this option anywhere so still no info downloaded !

Trying to do this with my '17 qashqai. I get to the Enter VIN part, and it just keeps saying VIN incorrect or VIN not recognised
Same with my 2016 model. I don't think ours are compatible due to the age.

Your vin is associated with previous owner. So, need to talk to support and delete previous owner. Then u can be connected

Just doublecheck the real number it scanned the vin wrongly so type in manually
My 2020 ford transit can be started with the application , why didn’t Nissan include this feature very helpful in the colder months

my nissan qashqai 2019 cannot connect to the VIN, it cannot scan and when i enter manually it doesn't recognize the vin number. WhT can i do?

Have done all this step by step without problem, then starting app all I see is the car and no buttons. Like a empty app without options

In Romania, this application does not work. It is not good for a company like Nissan.
So, there is no remote engine start in EU version... pity, in US they have it in Rogue.
They do just different models my 2017 has remote start
