- Famed car enthusiast Cristy Lee is best known for her work on popular automotive series on the MotorTrend network, as well as her HGTV home renovation shows. However, these days, she’s starting a new chapter after triumphing over two rare diseases. Well, our Stephanie Hart caught up with her at her new shop in Detroit where she shares her inspiring story.

Always have been a fan of MW. This is was a nice segment. The problem is the show doesn't seem to be on any channels these days and if so it airs at about 5:00am on a Sunday.

I found her to likable when she was on Garage Squad. She was not afraid to get her hands dirty. That told me she was for real and not just a pretty blond.. We also watch her on HGTV
Naming your dog Diesel isn't exactly original... But then again I have chocolate labs name Hershey and Charlie so who am I to judge! 😊

Love the updates! Sorry to hear of your health scare. My mother had to have her thyroid out too, probably when she was younger than you. Sadie, my Lab/Shepherd love for 16 yrs developed thyroid cancer at 9. They removed the bad half and she went on to 16! Love your shop doggies. Back in the late 80s, I was selling BMWs. Loved driving the M5s and 3s! Happy driving!

I don't think any previous time in history we've had so many rich average people that buy classic cars that the average person can't afford anymore, and that car will probably sit in that shop for 362 days a year.
rode the dirtbike yesterday, trackday on the 400 this Friday, the BMW is a project (which you obviously can see from this video) but first shake down at the track is the 9th, the Hellcat is the next project, 3100 and the C10 are daily’s in the warm months, salt in Michigan ya know

Good God……am I the only one really annoyed with Jonathan’s voiceovers? I used to like him but it’s just unbearable now. I might be in the minority 🤷🏻♂️ If you think I’m wrong just watch an intro by him and compare it to another automotive journalist’s voiceover intro! Like I said….I’m probably the a$$hole…..but I’ll stick with my assertions that Davis is intolerable at best. Who the f@!? actually talks like that?!?!
