Dustin is a good friend of mine, I know he tested these out for over a year, I'm glad you think they are a good upgrade!! Deez is a good dude and backs his products!!
I'm running Deez Shock Bands and they are AWESOME! They help a ton with the low center of gravity and don't take away from articulation if set up properly. Deez rocks! Try them out!
Hey Joe, would those help any with my Gatekeeper raising up when in reverse, due to the amount of overdrive in the front? I've noticed it's one of the only negative effects of having a little more than the usual percentage of overdrive. The Gatekeeper has alot more travel in the rear compared to the 4-link in my others and I've had to stiffen it up cause it's much softer. Thanks.
Too bad you can't adjust the length of the Bands. I guess you have to work with the Spring Collars. What about putting the bands inside the Shocks next to the Shock Mounts? No need for Spacers or Longer Bolts. BTW, isn't the Spectrum All-in-One Motor/ESC Combo short enough to run in the Capra? I thought I might try one.
@@ExocagedRC What oil did you use? Running this kind of shock requires much thinner oil than usual. I even run them without oil in the rear of my capra.
Those are terrible shocks !!!! You will never get them how they need to be . To soft or to hard . So many better options good lord stock trx shocks are better
These shocks are emulsion shocks. Meant to be adjusted by volume of air and the medium thats in the shock. You can get what you want by just getting the right mix
@@warriordugan7236 oil seals on both ends. The bottom is where mine always leak just saying it prevents the piston from taking all the weight during full droop
@@mcsbikelife3829 so you have never pulled a shock shaft out after a hard bounce? These straps will stop the shock piston hitting bottom of the shock therefore preventing more leaks. Just my opinion we welcome yours lol👍that's the reason monster trucks have them so the weight of the axle isn't suspended fully by the shock shaft seals.
When you climb your front un weights and you lose traction . Same going downhill in the rear but not as dramatic. These stop that and allow for steeper climbs
@@westdesertwheeler so what's the point of having a longer travel shock you you are limiting travel by the limiting strap. I don't know, I don't get it
Just limit straps that stretch a bit from what I'm getting from video. Really to keep it from overextending or to achieve a certain droop while keeping that little extra
Joe, glad you like these! I have multiple sets on my trucks now and I am sold. Dustin from Deez is a great dude!
I put some of those on my wendigo! What a big difference!👍😁😎
if your running stock springs take the spring cups off and let the spring sit on the axel
. or grab traxxas 90 mm white
I'm running Deez shock bands on 3 of my rigs now. I would highly recommend them.
Good Morning Joe & Everyone else. love it when you hit the rocks. Crawler life 🔥 👊💥👍💯✌
Wow I just posted about this yesterday on your live how awesome

Thanks for the info. I have been curious about these. Going to order some now.
You can do the same thing with droop shocks and springs on both sides of the piston....
Reminds me of the rubber bands that I run, this looks a little nicer but the rubber bands were free so I can’t complain

All you need lughter springs andi one band in the center of the axle and chassis. Still works but you don't lose anything, IMHO.
Awesome video! Where can I find the spacers for these bands?

That is a good idea
I'm really starting to love my capra in stock, can't imagine it with some upgrades
These and some mild overdrive will blow your mind
Very cool. I like non traditional mods like this
Sweet!
if my shocks are 96 mm shud i get the 90 mm straps ? or what is the size diffrences or do they match?
i did my ryft like you did the rear axle but when i got my straps they were not stretchy...
What are deez
Already ordered mine
It’s better to mount them on inside of the shocks!!
After checking out the price, I went with 90mm desert lizard shocks and run it in 70/30 droop. Cheaper, simpler and works better imo.
I tried internal springs years ago and didn’t like em at all

🤷♂️ think I’ll stick to pen springs..
😁👍1!
Put these on your bashing vehicles and prevent your shocks from bottom out making them leak
They don't prevent bottoming out. They prevent overexternsion.

Just get rid of springs on shocks. Run full droop.
