Why so much hate for Tekken GBA? It's technically amazing. To be able to do that on that power of handheld is sick.
marc richards The graphics might be impressive, but the gameplay is pretty oversimplified.
ComputerDude2600 Yeah but i think that has a lot to do with the fact they were trying bring Tekken to a system with seriously limited controls compared to the playstation.

marc richards If you want good handheld fighters you should get a Neo Geo Pocket Color.
marc richards It's 2D sprites on a 2D background in 2.5D. Other than that reminds of the crappy MK port on original GB. An extra chip in the cart to make it 3D would have been technically amazing.

I loved this whole thing; it's fun to watch you guys play these games, just as it is to watch James & Mike do the same. Selfishly, I'm hoping this becomes a series... if you guys can find the time to do it. Just hanging out and playing bad (or good) games can be entertaining for an audience, especially with your personalities. The material writes itself, although the editing can be a PITA sometimes. It's not so much about the game being played as it is about the people playing them-- and their genuine reactions.
I knew that Dash Galaxy was a steaming pile, but I thought that Tekken Advance wasn't terrible... given the hardware that Namco was working with. For a more serious player like Jay, I do get why it would feel like a step back... but for less experienced players-- especially for gaming on the go back then-- I thought it was okay. Not award-winning, mind you. But okay.
Thanks for uploading this, and for the hard work that you all continue to do every week. I'm really enjoying the diversified content that you're all producing.

Tekken Gba, was that a snes controller because I thought the only way to play on the tv was the gamecube adapter unless you are using the retron 5 or something, like that.
