I just bought one and I love it so far.. Got the base model and still got plenty of bells and whistles.. has a bunch of safety features that allowed me to get a discount on my insurance.. I get 28Mpg hwy and 22-23 in city limits. I drove 300+ miles on just under a half a tank of gas. The ride is smooth and quiet. Very spacious inside. Only con I have is no trunk space unless you put down the 3rd row. This is my second Hyundai... had an Elantra in the early 90s. Great car, had it for 10 years was still running great until, it was totalled in a hit and run.. So bump what folks say about Hyundais being junk... i like them..

If you don’t mind me asking - is there a feature that is not on the base model that you think would be worth an upgrade?

I really would love a moonroof, but I think that is a higher base than SEL.
I think the 2024 Santa Fe looks great!
Maybe that’s what I’ll do this holiday weekend …. some test drives …..
I also like the new Nissans - the Rogues and the Pathfinder look nice as well.
@cheechalker8430 I would have loved the moonroof, wireless charger (cords get in the way), UV sanitizer, that come in higher models, but that would mean leather seats ( I live in the south, didn't want to burn my legs up).. those are the few things I would have liked.. but I really didn't want the seat situation..

실제 싼타페 1.6T 하이브리드 오너입니다.
대한민국 트림기준, 캘리그래피의 운전석과 동승석 릴렉션 컴포트 시트는 릴렉션 버튼을 2초만 눌렀다 떼어도 완전히 작동합니다.
서라운드뷰 카메라에서 디스플레이 좌측에 있는 전면부와 후면부 버튼을 한번 더 누르면 앞바퀴와 뒷바퀴의 모습도 보이기에, 주차하다가 연석에 휠을 긁는 불상사를 막을 수 있습니다.😢
캘리그래피 기준, 5인승, 6인승, 7인승은 전자식 폴딩이 가능하며, 3열은 전자식이 아닌 기다란 끈을 잡아당겼다가 놓으면 접히는 원리입니다.
하이브리드 같은 경우에는 트렁크 바깥쪽 수납공간에 스타트 배터리가 들어가기에, 현대자동차의 갈색 박스가 들어갈 만큼의 공간이 제공되지 않습니다.
6인승 모델을 선택하면 2열 시트의 등받이가 전자식으로 제어되며, 슬라이딩은 수동식이 적용됩니다. 전좌석 원터치 윈도우와 세이프티 윈도우, 2중 접합차음 유리가 적용되어 안전과 방음에 신경썼습니다😊
차량의 전체적인 디자인에 말이 많았지만, 이는 디 올 뉴 싼타페를 디자인한 사람이 공대출신 디자이너이기에 각진 디자인과 진석 디자인을 선호하여 나온 결과입니다.

It's a real Santa Fe 1.6T hybrid owner.
Based on Korean trim standards, the driver's seat and passenger seat relaxation comfort seats in Calligraphy work fully even if the relaxation button is pressed and removed for 2 seconds.
Pressing the front and rear buttons on the left side of the display once more in the surround view camera will also show the front and rear wheels, preventing you from scratching the wheel on the curb while parking.😢
Based on calligraphy, electric folding is possible for 5-seater, 6-seater, and 7-seater, and the third row is the principle of pulling and releasing a long string, not an electronic one.
In the case of hybrids, the starting battery can fit in the storage space outside the trunk, so there is not enough space for Hyundai Motor's brown box.
The backrest of the second row seat is electronically controlled when the six-seater model is selected, and sliding is manual. All seats have one-touch windows, safety windows, and double bonded sound insulation glass, so we paid attention to safety and sound insulation. 😊
There was a lot of talk about the overall design of the vehicle, but this is the result of the preference for angled design and stone design because the designer of the Dior New Santa Fe is an engineering designer.

Not new technology at all
Just looked at one. Veey nice with all the bells and whistles. Had a Sorento and Soul and so much trouble with them . Husband had a Tucson and had over 325k miles with only oil changes done. RAN great till someone crashed in to it

Does anyone know is i bought the SEL model. Can i put on 20" Rims with the same tire size as the Calligraphy 255/45/R20 ?
I would think so since its the same model truck but wanted to make sure.
20" came on my Limited, the 21" came with the Calligraphy.

Yes but bigger the rims the ride quality will get rough. 17 is the ideal rim size if you care more about comfort than looks
Booyyy that things sharp. I think Hyundai/Kia have really good stylists working for them. The back kind of reminds me of a early 90s Toyota Previa. I've actually owned two Hyundais in my life, a 94 Excel, and a 99 Elantra. The 94 should have been a rolling pile of junk but wasn't ( mechanically atleast), I shut the door one time and the mirror fell off at 8,000 miles. It was extremely dependable and when I traded it in 99 with 120,000 on it the salesman said he couldn't believe "one of these has made it this far and runs this good". The 99 Elantra I had was a much better made car in every way. It was totaled at 95,000 and I never had problems with it.

We purchased the first one down here where we live. That feature is neat if someone parks too close to you and you can back it straight out without dinging up the doors.

Beautiful except the interior ceiling needs to be black , never understood why car makers make it white 😂
It's all heat absorption. Black would absorb too much heat especially during summer time. White dies not absorb heat as much.

@@billylam2448 do some research that's the only reason why interior ceilings are mostly white! Air-conditioning yes but on hot days, especially when the car is parked outside!

Looks nice but what good is it when in 7 years the life of the engine is done. Thats what happened to my 2017 Santa fe XL. Hyundai make sleek models thats how i got convinced to buy it. Doesn't look so hot when in 7 years had to sell for parts and sat in a storage facility and hyundai customer service was non existant. Just after the warranty period. Good luck to those that buy this one.

Looks can be deceiving. They have a lot of engine issues that need to be corrected.
This isn't the same engine, the 23 2.5 was 191 HP, 24 is turbo with 277 HP.
