As one of the stylish dudes in the office, we thought it our new hardgoods buyer’s responsibility to wear test the CONS Fastbreak Mid Pro. The Fastbreak first made a name for itself in the 80s as a basketball shoe. Today, with the help of updates from Converse Skateboarding, the CONS Skateboarding Fastbreak is skate-ready. Check it out as Matt puts them to the test with 100 fakie heelflips on a blustery day here in Portland, OR.

@@jeremyharris4009I just got lucky because there was only 1 pair of size 14 mens cons fastbreak mids on ebay. Nobody bid (thank god) and im waiting for them to get here. Ill update you then.

I'm guessing the nylon versions were for a more breathable lightweight skate shoe, similar to canvas models. I would definitely go for the all suede

this shoe has no resistance. Just 100 heelflips and start to tear apart. I two weeks of skating they would be shit. They design is amazing though.
Drives me nuts when skate shoes have canvas or nylon anywhere around the ollie or toe area, and this is exactly why. Makes absolutely no sense from a design perspective.
