The thing I am seeing with the One Plus is the animations are slightly faster, which to me seems like it gives it a slightly smoother look, but you can easily change the animation speeds in the developer settings, or through 3rd party apps like through Theme Park. Also the screen on the One Plus 12 looks not great sitting next to the S23 Ultra, visibly different side by side, the S23 Ultra easily being being the better of the 2 there, also general performance despite having slightly older hardware, seems to just be faster. I think Samsung just has a better optimized phone with better hardware. Also One Plus is a Chinese owned and operated company, not exactly known for quality and most of all, security, so regardless if One Plus makes a better phone without a doubt, I still wouldn't be comfortable using one.

Perhaps it's the 3.36ghz vs 3.3ghz clock speed because of the Overlock on the Samsung
did u turn on the max performance in battery settings , the benchmark scores should've been higher than 8gen2 🤔
Watch the video, he clearly says it and even opens the setting to show its on
The 8 gen 3 is too new, this happened with the 8 gen 2 when it first came out as well.
@@imprintz Bro, that's not the toggle for the High Performance Mode
That's the toggle to show or hide the icon in the status bar
The toggle for the High Performance Mode is in the battery settings
Do a speedtest between Iqoo 12 VS S24 Ultra
OK which is the best buy a used, but in excellent condition Samsung s23 ultra for £750 or a oneplus 12 new for £850? Unfortunately the oneplus 12 is more expensive here in the UK.
Which one would you get? S23 ultra or the oneplus 12?
I don't think you actually turned on the OP 12's High performance mode. What you showed at 5:25 is just the option to show icon for High performance mode in the notification bar in case it's on. In fact, it's evident that the mode isn't turned on since the icon isn't visible in the status bar. To turn it on you need to go in the Battery menu.
The One plus isnt even pulling the best out of 8 gen 3
Multicore score is 5261 when it is supposed to be at least 6500
Sorry but high performance mode is not on, high performance mode is inside battery option, you were in status that control notification status..
Samsung opening fast but OnePlus so smooth 🤞
Nick: on the OnePlus 12 is it really 4500 nits of brightness?
Yes it is
Not sustained brightness it isn't
It boosts to 4500 nits only in though situations, when is really sunny outside, but even that is rare
Only outdoors its a comfortable 600-700 nits usable but it has anti flicker and is very easy on the eyes display. S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra are brighter in real world use besides in sunlight
I just got the oneplus 12 today very nice phone but I'm having problems signing into eBay says having having technical issues but when i try another phone it's ok
Hello sir , from india I'm planning to buy a new mobile one plus 12 and google pixel 7 among these two , which is the best of best sir. Please reply me
Better at your tapping? Maybe phones getting little to TV-size-ish lately?
Bro there something wrong with the oneplus 12 geekbench score its supposed to get like 2100 / 7000 in average
High performance mode is off by default so maybe because he didn't turn it on that's why
I would like to see the new king S24 Ultra
Next up after this one!
OnePlus 12 definitely ❤
The OnePlus 12 is an absolute boss I've got the Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra and the OnePlus 12 and to be honest they're pretty much the same now I do think the OnePlus 12 takes better pictures now that's just me That's what I think but both of them are great phones but if you look at the price point the OnePlus 12 would be the winner because of its price
I got a refurbed S23 Ultra for lower price in 2024 than the OP12.
Both are great 👍🏻
The snapdragon 8 gen 2 inside the s23 ultra is overclocked.
I am confused between s23 ultra vs OnePlus 12 can you help for which mobile should I go?
▪︎ More than the power of the CPU, the device's CPU and GPU and general system optimization are required. For this reason, S23 Ultra is faster even though it is 8Gen 2
On OxygenOS, notifications disappear from lockscreen as soon as you unlock, even if you don't do anything with them.
No settings available to toggle that on or off...
From someone who just got a S23Ultra I'm glad to see it held it's own pretty well against the One plus 12. 😁
Genuine question.... Speed tests should have stopped in 2021 , then what's use of speed test????? 🙂
I am getting the S23 Ultra 12/256 about 90 Usd more than Oneplus 12 16/512, both brand new. Which one should I go for?? I know cameras are better on Samsung but I prioritise more on the battery life, performace during heavy gaming and tasks, and overall system stability over the years.
Please help!!!
@@aakashsandhu2165 did you make a decision yet? iam also confused between these two and cant decide
@@hwtechnicalgamers8736 Yes brother, I bought the OnePlus 12 after a lot of thinking. And I am pleased to inform this phone is a beast. The cameras are amazing, the performance is fantastic and above everything else the battery life is enormous. Go for it!
Pre-ordered the s24 Ultra..arriving Valentines Day
The thing I am seeing with the One Plus is the animations are slightly faster, which to me seems like it gives it a slightly smoother look, but you can easily change the animation speeds in the developer settings, or through 3rd party apps like through Theme Park.
Form Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩
Shei bhai
I think OnePlus has the smoothest software on any phone.
No nithing os
@@eren5411 certainly not
Há muito tempo, que a Oneplus já não é Oneplus em velocidade!!
Os adversários que ganhava de lavada em velocidade, hoje a Oneplus é quem fica pra trás!! Perdeu este título que era a sua maior referência.
Nick you made a mistake (the same one at that, again). The High-Performance toggle you showed in the Video at 5:22 is only to show in the status bar, as it even says. You need to enable it in the battery options, NOT in the status bar options. Really disappointed as this test is just a flaw with this not kept in mind and even mentioned wrongly.
I am not convinced about any phone launch BS until I see Nick Ackerman testing it.
Should I buy the Oneplus 12 or the s23 ultra?
If you want to US Dollars Buy oneplus
@@Mu218k Nah I'm probably gonna get the s23 ultra or the s23. And I'm from NZ.
I like Samsung s23 ultra! lcd display 2X dynamic AMOLED! So beautiful...
Should I get the base s23 or the oneplus 12
Please do the test Sony Xperia 1 VI vs OnePlus 12
Mrwhosetheboss said OnePlus 12 is the smoothest android he has ever used would you way its smoother than iphone 15 pro?
He wouldn't be far off in that statement, it is the smoothest Android I've used thus far as well!
High performance mode is off btw...you just checked the status bar option.
Why are you being sloppy with your finger on the Samsung? Seems like you are trying to make the china phone seem better than it is.
The Korean phone has 8 Gen 2, the China phone has 8 Gen 3, will see if results change on the S24 Ultra
Got s24 ultra yesterday great phone
it has 8 bit display ;D
I just received my S23 Ultra yesterday as a replacement for my OnePlus 10 Pro. It immediately stood out that the Samsung is a worse phone all around apart from the camera, the biometrics are abysmal. Even the icons appear more blurry on the Samsung. I am returning the Samsung and I'm going to buy the OnePlus.
Was it really that bad? what about battery and performance
@@fan_dan_go1545 I only had it a couple of days so never really tested the battery.
Keeping 23 ultra
S23 ultra still a beast❤
Guys suggest me a phone between these two a bit confused which one is better ?
0:45 s24 u is much faster at boot up
moral of this video is these all benchmark apps are just mickymouse... just false we see the real life performance
S24 U is more smoother than S23 U yet i own both.
Definitely S23 Ultra
Oneplus 12 os reminds me of harmony os from huawei, they are smooth.
S23U is an year old whereas Op12 is fresh out of box. One major update and OnePlus phones wll show their true colors. 😢
The Samsung s24 ultra screen just seem brighter to me. Oneplus seem to have a slight blueish tint
don't keep the apps running in the background and do the benchmark tests
Do camera comparison between both
I need to remind you... don't hold the finger print on the Samsung Ultra Sonic, it will make it open longer, you just have to look at it and let go.. Easy as that!!
With Battery Saver Mode, with ONLY 25 minutes of Screen Time, it went from 79 % to 72% just texting or scrolling around-nothing intense. Draining too fast?
Did another test from 80% to 23% with only 3H 34 min of Screen Time, what is going on?
with what phone?
Oneplus 12@@fan_dan_go1545
Which one has best display?
Wonderful flagships.
4:18 That's a big colour difference.
4:28 even here
High performance mode is in the battery settings.
Is it worth upgrading for S24ultra from S23ultra?
Not really there is not much difference only slight improvement
