its also that when talon loses lane he has a ridiculously hard time getting back into the game. zed plays safe, gets one or two shutdowns and suddenly poses a ginormous threat again.
zed pokes you for 6 levels straight with no items to get ulti and dive you while youre low because he has energy and you most likely have mana. talon needs to be in essentially melee range to poke you and cant get out if you all in him.
so so many differences and the only benefit of talon is that he gets to roam a bit better and gets oneshots faster
I ban zed alot and for me it's because he is an energy champ. Like he misses 100 w e q poke combos in lane and is fine zero downsides no innate penalties just spamming them rolling their faces on the keyboard like its their god dang job while most mana mage champs have to actually manage their ability use to not go oom. It's the most frustrating thing for me and generally why I hate all energy champs akali included
Not true. Your just low elo. When zed uses his combo. He has a LONG cooldown on his W where u can harass him and do anything you want. You are just bad. His real problem is his R but even that has tons of counterplay, so really, just get better.
@@WorldKeepsSpinninok but he’s technically right, although his reasoning is poor. But it’s a basic principle that energy based champions will win war of attrition in the long run compared to mana based champions.
@mlgbblade5221 maybe on things like kennen or somewhat akali, but not zed. By the time your out of mana the zed should be dead or low enough to have to recall anyways.
I think manaless and energyless champions are the real actual abusers of this stuff your talking about.
@@mlgbblade5221 glad you understand what i was trying to say. i think energy based champs are a bad design choice for the fact that a good player that understands the game can in theory out attrition ANYONE.

Unironically, the counterplay for fizz is positioning lol. If you are ever in a spot where fizz doesn’t have to use E as a gapcloser to jump on you, you are mispositioned. Fizz doesn’t oneshot with WQ until 3 items (and 2 of those items have to be lich and dcap).
If you ever lane vs him as a ranged champ, just take boneplating and he has no way to effectively burn it.
@@ordonian5847 the key is landing the ultimate. That knock up + slow negates a positioning advantage and allows you to close distance on a ranged champ even they flash or ghost. The best counter to fizz is tank supports/junglers with hard CC/disengage nautilus, alistar, Leona, amumu, Sejuani etc. also electrocute is on much lower CD than bone plating , and easily proc it with Q auto w at level 3 , or e auto w at level 2.

@@christianisaac9327 The ultimate is a slow skillshot that has a really obvious cast animation and audio. It should only ever hit you if he does the QR cancel (which isn't hard to do in lane but finding angles in the jungle isn't too easy). I do think the cooldown should be like 10-20s higher at all levels than it is currently, but that's about it.
Elec is lower cd than boneplating because boneplating blocks double the damage that electrocute deals. If he burns his electrocute combo while your boneplating is up, you're practically guaranteed a winning trade. It's not meant to guarantee you a winning lane, it's there to negate some of your mistakes. He'll still kill you if you give him enough trade windows without boneplating up.
His cooldowns aren't short either. They roughly match the important cooldowns of the champions I've mentioned (Syndra's stun, bubble, taliyah's E, etc.) so there's really no reason to be losing trades so hard unless you're playing veigar or kat.
@@duuuo The same applies for him so idk what you're trying to say here. If he's in range to trade with you, you're in range to trade back. Fizz isn't an oppressive laner. He's a really good early skirmisher that spikes mid game.

Lol how is Zed not one shotting you, essentially giving you opportunity for counter play or at the very least react, worse than getting one shot? Bc it hurts your ego? What is this?

Zed is banned because his playstyle is cancerous to deal with. He either endlessly pokes you down with his q (which has a longer range than ahri), or he sits at 925 range, farming away with that same q, and only using w to escape, until he can farm out 1 component item.
The fact that he has the option to play like a mage, while being an assassin is what makes him so annoying to deal with.
Nah youre Just Bad... Zed has 0 Power in laning Phase and 0 Push Power 0 sustain and His Base stats are squishy as hell... Just poke him Out of lane do a third or fourth Wave Crash Base freeze and easy you won lane basically... At 6 He will Only kill you when you are dumb enough to get hit by Triple Q and thats your fault
